Buyer beware. I would not recommend these speakers. I bought these and waited 7 days to get them home, got them and found a note from Klipsch (manufacture) that said "we deactivated the auto on capability to improve your speaker performance" The bottom line is they(klipsch) removed a feature I paid for (and you will pay too if you buy these) because they had a design bug. One of 2 speakers also had a bad line input connector. Also once I found this quality issue I googled around and learned other people are also getting these with the deactivated auto on switches. Sound quality was not that good either. The people at Bestbuy were surprised at the note from klipsch too. Bestbuy was great and took them back. I highly recommend bestbuy but not these. You can get other speakers at Bestbuy that are much better than these. Don't take my word for it. Do your homework on the internet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Could not be HAPPIER!!!!
These are a great pair of speakers. The sound is awesome with great highs and lots bass to go around. They are not huge and obtrusive like other tower speakers and look GREAT (had to keep wife happpy) next to my 60in Sony. I have them paired with a xl-23 center and a KLipsch RT-10d sub and it is really too loud for our medium sized room, but what the heck, louder the better. No rears yet as i would have to put them up high and i probably could not hear them anyways. They are so clear sounding and have exceded all of my expectations. I spent more $$ than i intened too, but no buyers remorse here! The Magnolia people were great to deal with and did not seem to mind spending the time to go over all the different speakers they had with me. These were the 3rd set of speakers i had tried out and there was no problem trading the others in. As they say, 3rd time is the charm.
