Okay--It's about the bass. I love deep my bass, but I love my bass in proper proportion. At the lowest setting, the sub was still too loud for my taste. A washcloth, stuffed in the port, reduced the level of bass to a point that I felt was balanced. I'll keep these speakers because the price is great, they look fantastic, and they're Klipsch.

My best purchase so far at Best Buy. The price was the first thing that caught my eye and when I heard the sound quality in the store I was surprised the price wasn't more. Great sound, great style, and overall great speakers

I am so shocked that this product has so many good reviews. I NEVER write reviews but I was so unhappy with this product that I was compelled to, especially after I came here and purchased the item based on the many great reviews. First off, let me say I have since bought the Logitech Z623 for my office and its twice as good as far as sound and built quality for the same price. I wasn't all that happy with the sound of the Klipsch but they were loud and I just figured they were computer speakers and I guess I shouldn't expect much. The Klipsch sound quality is poor to mediocre at best, it sounds flat and muffled, not bright and vibrant like the Logitech Z623. And now the real reason for the review, the klispch broke on me within 6 months of owning it, connections on the back are made very poorly and they are made to break. This thing is worthless now.

I ordered this item for store pickup, got it, carried it home, box weighed a ton, easy setup, parents complain about the loudness but it doesn't matter, they're great!

I purchased the Epson to replace my HP printer. Unlike the HP the Epson has a host of maintenance software/programs installed which hopefully will prevent the ink heads from clogging.

First, I am well aware of the saying you get what you pay for but, in this case, I think I could have got better sound for cheaper. Or at the very least the same quality for cheaper. After reading all the rave reviews about the sound of these speakers I really had my hopes up. I really want to love these speakers, I do. But truth be told, my 10 year old Altec Lansing ACS 340's sound better than these. Unfortunately, based on reviews alone, I took a chance buying them without trying them first.because the display model was not working at the store. With the exception of the base which is surprisingly nice for the size, rich with no busing or popping, everything sounds hollow and flat, no dimension at all. I plan to take these back.

I just purchased these for my daughter for Christmas, I own three sets already. 1. Work 2. Home 3. Outside for parties and the pool They are the greatest set of speakers you will ever own.

Bought after a recommendation from coworkers at Best Buy, best purchase on audio I've ever made! The bass the 12" sub puts out is incredible and the speakers them self sound great.

Oh my god, this is the bombdiggity! This machine rocks my socks off! It makes me feel like im the only person in the world. If you buy this, you will have such a wonderous experience. SHIBBY!

I'm pleased. My son has the same system and that is where I was exposed to it first. I did a little research and decided it was the best one for my price range. I'm glad I got it.

I highly recommend this setup. Very worth the price and performance is very good. I am impressed!

These speakers are used for my laptop, and they just rock. They produce crisp, clean sound. Absolutely no complaints.

At first, I was skeptical about ordering these speakers because of the mixed reviews it's received. I decided to order them because they were on sale. I tested my preferred genres (classical, house, lo-fi, lounge, trance) and it sounds beautiful, but there are several things that could be improved. Cons: - The unit is always on - The speaker wires are thin - The satellites are not balanced at low levels - The right satellite overpowers the left until past 7 o'clock on the Main Volume dial Overall, it's a decent 2.1 system for the price (94.99). I am slightly upset that the satellites aren't balanced and hope the system does not turn out to be defective. I am debating whether or not to return this system.

Amazing speakers IMO. I returned my logitech 5.1 set for these and I am very happy about it. Kyle from the Chico geek squad helped me pick these out, THANK YOU!

I rated this product poorly not because it doesn't have good speakers; it actually has a phenomenal bass........but of course, all good things dont last long; I've exchanged these speakers 4 times in the past couple of months because the bass blew out and the sound quality from the speakers deteriorated, though I never had it turned up more than halfway. Thankfully it has a one year manufacturer's warranty, but I would not recommend buying this product unless you have A LOT of free time and gas to spend going back for exchanges (no refunds). For being the most expensive computer speakers they offer, this is definitely not worth it.

Definitely worth the money. I would refer this product to anyone.

I am very disappointed with Bestbuy, Bought Klipsch - ProMedia 2.1 Speaker System open box few days ago, they sent broken speaker system to me, what a let down. Does any body check the system before they ship to make sure it is in working condition?? There is a fuse in the subwoofer that has blown out, no big deal went to The home depot and got new fuse. I installed the new fuse and checked to turn on the speaker still no power. Rechecked the fuse it's blown out too. I am returning this product back to Bestbuy. Waste of my time and frustration thank you bestbuy.

Looks great! Sounded great in the store. Hooked everything up as directed. Started with a low bass level and sound level up a quarter. Sounded unbelievable for 30 seconds - then silence. Did all kinds of diagnostics including re-hooking up - still nothing but silence. Finally reverted back to my old speakers and they worked fine. Very disappointing. Now I have to decide - just return them or try a new unit. Even if a new unit works how long will it work for? Not confident in the overall quality at all.

I heard the system in the store and I was sold. It will give Bose some competition.
