DON'T LET THE SOUND QUALITY FOOL YOU

I bought these speakers literally a week ago. So far, they are an awesome set of speakers. Then I noticed that my right satellite speaker was not working. So I tried some trial and error precautions only to find out that I'm not the only one having this issue. The "right" built in amplifier in the subwoofer is out. The input is listed for the right satellite speaker but when i put the left, perfectly fine speaker, into the right input it does not work! I'm very disappointed and expect a full refund. I'm not even going to exchange them to get a new set. Not WORTH anyone's time. CHEAP PARTS!! KLIPSCH can do so much better...

I didn't have these speakers hooked up for more than 5 minutes and I hated them. The sub was worse than my Logitech Z-2300's, yet I paid $60 more for these. The bass got extremely distorted if you turned the sub up more than half way, so distorted I couldn't even listen to it. I guess the one good thing about this system is that the satellite speakers sounded terrific, very very nice. But the sub was almost sickening to listen to.

Sounded good until the subwoofer electronics burned out right after the warranty expired. Subwoofer kind of boomy and muddy.

    Don't Buy!

Ive gone through two of these sound systems in two weeks and fried the input jack to your computer/ipod on both systems. The problem is lying somewhere within the control box for the volume/subwoofer control (which disconnects from the speaker). Klipsch does not even know what the problem is after talking to them so it must be a manufacturing problem

Broken Subwoofer within 5 months of purchase

Best Buy will not assist you if you are outside of 30 days or 60 as a silver member. My luck that this product lived out its useful life of 5 months. I guess we should expect that with products these days. I will not buy this product again. Maybe Bose or someone other manufacturer that will back its products.

If I am not playing anything I have to unplug these boat anchors or the very loud static will drive me crazy. My cheapie Logitech didn't have this problem. I sold stereo gear in the 70's and 80's and Klipsch had a great name. Mine have another name now. Worthless.

Just purchased and unfortunately will have to return. The sound isn't close to hi fidelity, which honestly, I could have lived with since the system was $140. Main issue I have is there is no way to power the system down without unplugging it. WTF?

Customer service stinks, I have purchased 2 of these over 4 years and they last only 2 years. Same problem with both but Klipsh claims it is not a defect. Will never buy a Klipsh product of any kind again.
