Great, Great system. Awesome sound. Love it. I don't like the fact that it doesn't have an on/off button. But I can unplug from the wall. I don't like leaving my electronics on when not using. This system is the best I ever heard. Beats BOSE system any day.

This item was a bit over my price range but after buying some Sony speakers for about 60 bucks and returning them withing 10 min i decided to purchase these based on reviews. I love the sound, well the sub woofer is awesome. If they ever go bad i would not hesitate to buy another pair.

I bought these to amplify a TV that I have behind my home bar, and also to use for music. These fit the bill. I considered getting one of those TV sound bars, but I think these give much better quality sound, and I like having two separate speakers, so that I can arranged them to fill the room better. I'm considering purchasing a second set for another TV in my home. You can't go wrong with these!

I picked up these speakers a while back and I've got to say I like them. They produce great sound (Modern Warfare 2 sounds great with them) and they can be turned up really loud. And I mean REALLY loud. However, the back of the subwoofer gets pretty hot. The manual does say that its normal for it to be warm to the touch, but I would call it hot rather than warm. I would recommend these to anyone wanting my opinion.

This is the second pair of Klipsch ProMedia speakers I have owned. The first was the original ProMedia 2.0 system, purchased through an online vendor. At the time, I was impressed with the bass quality that the speakers provided for a 2.0 system. It was on a par with the 2.1 systems my friends in the other dormrooms had for the bass it put out, and I received more complaints about the bass being too loud than they did. The speakers also didn't distort the high end when the bass kicked in, which was great.
The ProMedia 2.1 system takes the tradition of fidelity from the 2.0 system they're replacing and makes it fly. The frequency response is amazing, covering the full spectrum of sound without a hitch. They are easily the best-sounding computer speakers that Best Buy sells.
But there was a problem that recurred through two RMAs of the 2.0 system that I find myself running into again on this system. On the old speakers, the potentiometers for the bass and the volume (those are the things that make the knobs work, for those who don't know) became dirty and eventually just quit working entirely. They would start to crackle when adjusted, and then would cut out the satellite speaker, and then wouldn't produce any sound at all. I have not heard the crackling, but the pots have begun to act up on me on this system. The sound isn't gone yet, but let's just say that I'm very glad I bought the protection plan with the system, so that if it does, I can just take them in for a new set.

I'm blown away by the fidelity for this price. EQ is essential for my taste which works well using I Tunes or simple Windows Media Player. I really purchased for Band in the Box. But now am enjoying high end stereo! Highly recommend!

These speakers just sound amazing. I tried it at the store using my iPod, and it just outshines all the other brands on the shelf. Of course Bose has very good sound quality as well. But this set is only half of the price, and gives powerful bass. Definitely recommended!

Im on my second set of these, and would buy them over and over and over again. First set lasted me through 4 years of hard, loud partying, and sounded incredible through all of it, until finally blowing out a few weeks ago. Decided I needed another set and managed to get them on sale that same week. You don't have to be an audiophile to appreciate these, they sound amazing, and sound amazing LOUD. I still cant get over how good they sound at any volume, in any space, ive had them everywhere from my bathroom, to outside, to in a 50x70 shop. Dont let the size or price fool you (some people complain about the price, WHAT!?) you could pay $500+ and not get sound like this from other brands. 5 stars for these all day, assuming anyone who rates them less has misused them in some way, or had problems when buying them. If I could change anything I would add an on/off, the ability for bluetooth, a remote, and dim that bright green light (all minor things that would just be convenient). So if your wondering "Hmmmm should I buy these" which you more than likely are since you are reading reviews the answer is YES. They will be great for while you shower, while you jam out in your towel after the shower, while you cook, while you watch a movie- yes they work great as "surround" sound, while you do your homework, while you work on your car, while you play yard games with your friends, and while you have the project x style party youve always dreamed of, you name it, theyll do it. Buy them already.

The Promedia 2.1 is the best speaker that I've ever spent money on ($100 at Best Buy). It sounds great, even though I can't compare with other higher end speakers. I live in a dorm room and I've mostly had it connected to my TV although I play music from my iPhone from time to time. I also haven't cranked it up all the way yet since I didn't want any noise complaints. The most I've done is turn both the speaker and sub to 50%.
Music sounded great. TV shows sounded great. There was one thing I noticed when watching movies on my PS3. For example, I watched both The Dark Knight (Blu-ray) and Inception (Blu-ray). The music and soundtrack were excellent. However, when there was dialogue during soundtrack-heavy scenes, the dialogue was kind of drowned out. I tried playing around with the speaker volume and sub level but didn't find a good balance. I may need to play with it some more.
The speakers and subwoofer seem to be built well. There is no power switch, not on the speaker and not on the sub. Apparently, Klipsch did not intend for these to be turned off. I am not really bothered by this. However, using the Belkin Conserve Insight Energy Use Monitor, I found these to idle at 9 Watts... which isn't really negligible, especially if it's left powered on 24/7 365.

Can't imagine better sound quality from computer speakers. Impressed with built quality as well. Control knobs are nicely tight and turn with a refined resistance. Bass is ample for my liking at about a 1/3 of max setting. Great midrange and treble from satellites. Also appreciate how they are angled up for proper imaging from computer desk height. Even packaging was impressive (well protected in shipment). Plenty of power!

I've heard many and owned many sets of computer speakers and these have the best sound of any. The highs are nice and crisp. The bass is tight and solid. Got these as an open box item for $109 which is a terrific value. I would definitely buy Klipsch again.

I decided some time ago after listening in a Best Buy store that these were the computer speakers for me. The product is great, hookup was simple and they sound incredible. My reason for four stars on value for price is because I had to wait a while for them to go on sale. I think they are a good product for the sale price of $120.

Very good speakers for the price. I bought them for my laptop and to hook them up to my keyboard (instead of studio monitors) - Sounds amazing - good bass. Right now I have the connected to my TV for surround-like sound. Eventually I will buy a good TV sound system and will go back to using these for my laptop & keyboard. Sounds great with everything.

I previously had the Bose Companion 2 Series III and they were a good speaker set up. I retuned them because they didn't have the bass or the volume that I wanted. (I listen to Music loud and like bass) The volume difference was amazing. I typically listen to these at 1/4 Volume and it is about the same a 1/2 volume on the Bose. The bass on these is amazing ( I have it at the recommended setting) The bass is accurate and you can definitely tell it is there. These speakers look great too. If You have the Budget I would get these speakers.

By far the best set of 2.1 computer speakers I've ever listened to.
I already had high expectations because I've been familiar with the quality of Klipsch products for a long time, but they still exceeded my expectations. And for what seems like a tiny subwoofer, it puts out a lot of bass and is still very clean sounding.
Can't say enough good things about these speakers.

I won't ramble on - these are the best I ever heard. I bought them in-store on a listen first basis. But when I got them home and put the sub on the floor where it belongs, I was blown away. BIG BASS - I actually had to tone down the sub. The bass port in front will literally blow out a candle.
The things would qualify for a home theater system. They are beyond "computer speakers"

First i tried the Air-track 2.1 from Samsung sadly it did not perform as good as i expected.
My friend recommended me this set of speakers. not only they cost less then the Samsung brand. They sound better than most other brands. i can use them with my PC, I even hooked them to my Samsung TV " not even the Air-track crystal clear" bar sounded as good as this set. They really delivers great sound quality.
Its a Must buy
