I am actually using these speakers for my TV. I have a theater in my basement so I needed a new TV for our main, everday use. I got a new Insignia LCD and the speakers on that are not very good. I am admittedly an audio geek and I like a nice all-around solid sound for everything I listen to. I looked at soundbars, and some of them were good contenders. But I don't have alot of space on my fireplace for one. I knew there was a headphone jack on my TV, so I headed over to the computer speaker section. The salsesman pointed me to the Bose 2 speaker set for a bit less (about $10 at the time), but they sounded "boxy" and did not have a nice low end to them. I know Klipsch has great home theater speakers, so I turned these on and....WOW!!!! I was shocked how good it sounded. I brought the ProMedia set home, plugged into my TV through the headphone jack. It has a full solid sound. This was easily one of my best purchases, EVER. I did get it on sale, so that helped even more. But I would highly reccomend at the full price. If you are looking for a great, small price, big sound solution and don't have the space for a big reciever and such for your TV....GET THIS. Go ahead....get off the internet and go have a listen for yourself. It sounds the same as in the store when you get it home. I also hook up my MP3 player to it and it fills the house with crystal clear, solid music. Highest recomendations.

These speakers are great for the little money you pay. The sub pounds hard, but the 2 desktops sound great. Although the sub does adjust in volume, it does not allow adjustment for frequency. The sub hits way too hard. But, I do have a pair of Bose 3 multimedia speakers, and they rock. But they are $299. Bose has great sound all around. If money is no object, I would recommend the Bose. If money is an object, get these Klipsch! You cannot go wrong with either set.

These speakers are the best computer speakers i've had so far. I haven't tried the Bose computer speakers, but I think either way, the Klipsch speakers are the same in technology if not better AND price doesn't completely break the bank for the quality these speakers give. These speakers are also good for someone looking for a baby home theater system without the dvd player or reciever

Had my grandmother buy these speakers at Best Buy and ship them to me to Nicaragua...... yes, Nicaragua. Once I received the speakers I was freaking out because I did not get any type of sound from them. After 2 weeks of busting my head on how expensive it was going to be to ship them back to the U.S., I happened to find out that my back up battery was not powering the speakers. After plugging the speakers to the wall plug I was amazed with the sound quality and loudness of the speakers. I definitely recommend these speakers, even if you have to ship them around the world to get them.

It is funny how Bose advertises like crazy, everywhere, and how Klipsch doesnt but yet has a way better product ! I compared the two at best buys' store and after hearing Klipsch it was a no brainer. Subwoofer adds a very nice bass which is adjustable to your liking. Absolutley awesome sound

These speakers sound comparable to those whose price are 4 times more. Klipsch is the oldest speaker manufacturer in this country. They have been in business since 1946! And yes , they were "digital ready" even then. <<<<Note loud gonging of sarcasm bell for the "digital ready" buzzword>>>> I own 3 sets of these. One for my shop, another for my home and a third set in storage. (I had heard rumors sometime back they were going to be liquidated) I am truly relieved to see that rumor was false. At this price, I have bought sets for some very close friends. Nothing in words can describe the awesome, effortless levels of sound these things deliver. Buy them and add your 2 cents to the reviews here.

Great speakers. Very clear, and sound great at multiple volumes! Love these speakers so much better than the wireless speakers!

I had always put the best sound cards in my PCs and paid for a good penny for the surround sound systems, but was never quite happy with the sound quality when I plugged everything up. Last summer I bought another fully loaded Alienware PC and wanted to do it justice with a new speaker system. I was ready to fork out some dough for the Bose Comp 5 system, then I found this system. I quickly changed my mind and was not disappointed. In fact, I just splurged again and bought another system for my office at work. Its a little overkill for work, but as much time as I spend there, I should have some nice tunes to help pass the time. Thinking Bose, save your money and buy this one - I bought two (1 for home and 1 for work).

I can't say enough good things about this desktop speaker system; the sound is amazing- great mids & highs, and the base will shake the room. And the price is surprisingly low. The sound rivals systems costing twice as much; really! BUY THIS SOUND SYSTEM! You won't be sorry.

I've been looking for a good deal on computer speakers for a while. The reviews on these were great all over the web. I took advantage of the sale a BB for these under $100. These things can crank out the music. I highly recommend these.

I have a home theater with this brand, and i love the overall quality sound that it gives. The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 for the price is a great buy for $119.99. Setup was easy 15min it took me. Love it..

I was limited on funds seeking a surround sound system for my new flat screen. i tried these speakers and BAM. subwoo is awesome I am totally please with the speakers. my TV volume can go from 1 to 75 before the speakers I was about 60 volume after a 12 is more than enough. I am very pleased with the speakers awesome sounds awesome quality. now I know

bought these after I saw they went on sale for 119. They are running off of a macbook pro and I'm amazed at the clarity of the satellites, mids and highs are clear even at higher volumes. the sub provides ample low end thump. Definitely worth the price, there's good quality to be heard here!

these are the best speakers for the money I've bought a few sets of computer speakers in my day by far the best so far

It was a toss up between these and the Corsair speakers SP2500. I chose these because of the reviews. Very easy to set up. Cables are super long for placement. Bass is amazing. Speakers jam sound out with no hesitation. I would buy again. Great for desktop!

To start off I almost picked up the Corsair 2.1 set. I thought I would try these first because they were on the floor at Best Buy. My Logitech Z-2300 started to go out after probably 4 years. Wanted to get something equivalent. It was either these or Corsair. My biggest concern was the sub woofer when I was trying to decide which set to get. The sub preforms very well. Now getting to the two satellite speakers... They sound amazing. They make it sound as if the sound is coming directly out of my monitor which my Logitech's did not sound that way. Very impressed. This system sounds as good if not better than the Bose that they had on display.

I am a person that I love music and am very loud I was tired with my longitecth 20 wats speakers so I decided to get something more louder even the 20wt my parents always have problem with that is to loud this one all the tenants around complains about it if u love music and like to be loud like me get one of this speaker

Bass so darn good I had the neighbors mad AF! I had no idea these would sound as good as they are. 10/10 Packaging is nice and clean and instructions are simple and easy to follow, if you've been looking for good audio to finish your battlestation this is def. the one you are looking for.

I was debating between two sets of speakers it was these or the logitech z623 and im so glad i went with these. The sound that these little speakers put out are loud and clear! Also i was reading some of the other reviews and i dont get what you guys mean about no off and on swtich. On the bottom half of the sub there is a off and on switch that shuts off the speakers and sub, But then again i might be miss understanding. Also i like the fact that you can have two devices connected to them, so i have the main green aux plug going into my PC and then i have another AUX going from my TV to the satellite speaker AUX plug in. GREAT PRODUCT.

Both my brother and I bought these speakers and he was telling me they sound just like any other speaker. In other words, he didn't like them. I plugged mine in and they sounded absolutely incredible. Probably one of the best computer speaker sets I've owned (I've owned quite a few). I decided to go listen to his (we don't live together) and his did in fact sound quite different. We found that... for these speakers to REALLY shine, you need a decent sound card. I personally use the: HT Omega Claro Plus and my brother uses onboard sound. I will tell you, your experience with these speakers will be heavily influenced based on the sound card you currently use. The other thing that I noticed is one end of the speaker cables are hooked directly to the speakers themselves but the other end actually uses positive and negative to plug into the subwoofer. This is especially nice if you need to extend the cable. Hope that helps!
