The sound you get from these whether gaming or producing music is AMAZING! Very surprised since these were so cheap to buy! Buy these you will NOT regret it. THEY GO VERY LOUD! Wish the system had an on/off switch, though.

This little speaker system is wonderful. I just plugged in my Iphone and had INSTANT ACDC coming thru the speakers. Easy to set up I'm a women BTW. The sound quality was excellent, the LOUDNESS was close to deafening........awesome set If you can't find or afford those BIG 1979 speakers that made your ears hum after a good Rocking with your old vinyl. Excelent buy! Thanks to the freind that hooked me up.

Overall, these speakers are great! The sound is crisp and clear! Ive read so reviews that they burn up fast! Well, that's why I paid the extra for the warranty! If you hear these speakers in person, you will know they get LOUD! The back of the sub does get a little warm, but there's a lot of power cranking threw these speakers! Good luck on your choosing! If your picky about your sound get these!

So I bought these speaker being a long time Kilpsch owner, having had a few products of theirs in the past. Great quality speakers, awesome subwoofer. Definitely worth the price, however, I did notice sum static when playing a few game WoW being one of them. Dont know whether to blame it on the server or the speakers. But then again on Bad company 2 I felt like I was in the warzone with the subwoofer on the floor and a grenade blowing up... you feel it. turning the vlume up too high will make the subwoofer pop a bit, but its truely beyond the listening comfort level anyway so not a big deal. And one other minor complaint, the satelite's stand does look a little goofy on a $500 computer desk with one satelite not having the volume controls, there is a big gap underneath the speaker itself. But over all a great choice especially for the price, either these or Bose, Bose being the supurior brand but not offering the same power, had to go with the ones that were $250 cheaper. Buy these definitely, but keep it low, the neghbors might call the police..... ; )

Truley amazing sound quality! So powerful..This system will turn your computer into a high powered stereo. The absolute best I have ever heard and felt. Better than the Bose at half the price. You will be amazed at how this system brings your computer to life.

I've had these speakers for a week or so and I am pleased as punch with them! If you like to watch movies on your computer these really bring them to life. I like that I can easily adjust the subwoofer volume and the main speaker volume separately from the front of one of the satellite speakers. I just wish they had put the power switch somewhere else (it's on the back of the subwoofer). I think I'll add a power strip and plug in the various AC adapters and so forth that don't need to be on anyway when the computer isn't being used and plug the speaker's power cord into that as well. Installation was easy, the cords are plenty long enough and as far as I know they didn't hurt any dolphins making these.

I have never had really good speakers for my computer, but after buying a brand new computer, I decided to invest in a really good set of speakers. After reading others reviews of the Klipsch speakers, I went to the store and bought a set. I am really impressed. The sound quality is fantastic. The bass is clear without causing any distortion, and the you can actually differentiate the highs and lows. The sound is just great. The only drawback is the price, but you get what you pay for. If you've never had really great speakers, the investment is well worth it, especially if you listen to a decent amount of music on your computer. I highly recommend these and am really happy I bought these.

I listened to these speakers at a best buy store and carefully compared to the other speakers that were lined up at the display. Don't recall the brands but some were comparable in price others were a little less expensive - the Kilpsch were clearly the best sounding speakers...at the time I thought this is very tempting I don't really need another pair of computer speakers so passed on them. Then on black friday the price dropped by $50 and I just had to buy them. Glad I did.

Sound is really loud, no worries there. I cant even turn it up past a quarter of the way while setting infront of it, its way to loud, so that was good. There is no Power ON/OFF button. I got a reply from the Klipsch folks themselves, it looks like leaving them on & not worrying about them is just what they had planned all along. Maybe this information will help others in the future when more people get the newest Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speaker systems (without On / Off Power Switch). "Hello I am sorry to hear about the problem you are having with your system, however it is safe to leave those on, when they are not being used they take up less then 1 watt of power. The new technology and amp system it will not damage that.

This system is so easy to set up and it sounds soooooo good. Have no problems with it. Did I mention that it sounds good? It does. I got a lot more than what I expected. You won't be disappointed.

Everything I read about these speakers was correct. Easy to set up and have been enjoying them ever since. A great value for the cost, thinking I could hook them up to the television as well.

I've had this system for 5 years and love it. I'm considering purchase of a second unit to serve as a portable studio monitor-type application for the playback of woodwind ensemble rehearsal recordings. The sound of these speakers is so true, we will get a realistic appraisal of our tone quality, dynamics, and blending using good quality condenser mics and a Tascam digital recorder. The praise for this speaker is justified. This Klipsch has the specs and sound quality of a studio monitor pair selling for over twice the price of this unit.

My brother was murdered on Dec. 16, 2010. His favorite song was "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock. I have been watching and listening to the video on YT, but just wanted awesome speakers for my computer so I could enjoy the sound while remembering my brother. I went online to BB and started reading the reviews about computer speakers and I was convinced that these speakers would suffice. I was right! I thank all those who have written reviews on these speakers. If you buy them, you won't be disappointed as set-up is a cinch! Sound quality is awesome!!! RIP Paul.

When I was ready to purchase this speaker almost 9montha ago it had a 2star review with people complaining about speakers blowing , I use it as my HOME THEATRE system and its great ! I have friends that paid 300-400 for their 5.1 systems and I have a way better experience with this 2.1 ! My only complaint is that because its made as a all in one computer media add on it has no way to apply the subwoofer to a larger set or to add on to the existing set without spending more than the speaker set itself ,& no remote controls capability ........ But who cares for this price and quality I get up willingly to adjust :)

In a nutshell, if you're in the market for a good 2.1 computer speaker set, get these. It's literally as simple as that. I bought these a couple weeks ago and they create such a great, full sound that I can't get enough of. I can hear every little detail on every song I listen to now. This doesn't count as a gripe, but just make sure that you have room for the satellite speakers since they are pretty big for computer speakers. I have them mounted on my wall so I'm set.

I can't say enuf good things about these speakers, hooked up up to a laptop sounding like a full stereo system. You can't go wrong. I know I should have been in bed hours ago, but I can't stop listenening to the next song, and the next song.... Listening to everything from Elvis to Ice Cube to Eric Church.... UNREAL SOUND, I promise you won't be dissapointed.

I love this system. It sounds as great as my Bose home entertainment system but from the computer. Window vibrating sound!! I had the same system before but after 8 yrs. it needed to be replaced. Love it, wouldn't have anything else.

I wanted to invest it something I could use for years. I went into Best Buy wanting to buy the Bose system. I was told it had great clarity, etc. However these speakers are a hundred dollars less and after looking at the reviews on the Bose speakers, I'm glad I didn't buy them. The bass on this system is really powerful so if you have conservative neighbors, you'll probably have to turn it down. In any case, great investment. The Bose system is a good one but I found these to be better and $100 less. So it was an easy choice.

This speaker set it amazing. The base is heavy and the the satellites crystal clear. I usually sit with the main volume at about 10%-15% and the base at about 30%..after that it gets obnoxious. The subwoofer is top of the line, shakes the room at less than 50% if the volume is also at about 50. Not a lot of wires to mess with which is a huge plus. Comes with a headphone jack if you need some quiet listening. Overall, amazing amazing amazing. You won't regret purchasing these and at about 160 it's an absolute steal.

I was in the market for computer speakers. I was replacing a great pair of Altec Lansings which were several years old and was shorting out in one speaker. I am an former recording studio engineer, so I have a keen ear for sonic quality. I didn't want to pay the $300 for a set of Bose, so I looked around and read reviews on these Klipsch speakers. $150 was a good price for a great investment and I'm glad I got them. These speakers are totally amazing. They look great, are very sturdy and sound unbelievable. Take my advice, because I am very picky when it comes to my sound. This is the best quality/price value on the market today.
