Just picked this computer speaker system up from my local Best Buy. Brought it home, hooked it up, opened iTunes, selected a song and my ears said, "Huh"? It sounds amazing! I chose Klipsch because of the quality and their reputation. They did not disappoint as usual. Sure you can spend less on a computer speaker system, but for the money this system is well worth it.

Just got these beasts. When I turned them on I had the volume at max and they shook my house! Crazy sound. Waaaay better than my monitor speakers.

I own a BOSE PC system and was building another setup for another room. I had considered buying another BOSE but was not sure I needed to go that route. After some reviews I came upon the Klipsch system. I can say that the Klipsch system holds it's own in several areas against the BOSE for about half the price. The sound is great and the inputs for headphones/line in are at the desktop level. One advantage that this unit had over my BOSE system was the sub level control on the desktop speaker. It was a pain having to adjust that from behind the subwoofer on the BOSE unit. This may have changed on newer BOSE systems? The bass response is great on the Klipshch but in my opinion this is the only area that the BOSE unit is superior. It still packs a punch and for half the cost of a BOSE system I think anyone would appreciate the performance and value.

These speakers crank!! I highly suggest if you want a loud crisp sound with lots of base. My office will never be the same!

I was purchasing a new computer and while I was at it though let's check out some new speakers. Well the store didn't have any speakers hooked up to an audio source so they let me plug in my iPhone to listen to what I want and man as soon as I heard these I had to have them! Even drove 50 miles away on a snowy/rainy night to get them, because the store was out!

Read more than enough reviews before finally coming to a decision. I picked up the Logitech X-540 system before I purchased these and they did not come close to satisfying my needs for the boom. I ran across this set while I was at a Best Buy store that had them hooked up for sample use, and let me tell you..I was more than stoked. Made one last trip to check out another set but ended up going right back to Best Buy and making the purchase. This is my first review ever written if that helps tell you how pleased I am with these speakers. A+

I got this set of Klipsch speakers to use with my iMac. I was not disappointed at all! These are BY FAR the best sounding speakers I've ever owned. I have friends with Bose speakers and they sound good, but in my opinion Klipsch has them beat. I do like Bose speakers, but I feel like they often have a little bit too much of a "tinty" high-end sound in comparison to Klipsch. These have such a rich and full sound! Everyone that comes near my computer and hears them is extremely impressed. I actually like these speakers so much that I will be replacing all of my home theater speakers with Klipsch ASAP. Honestly, it would be pretty hard to convince me to buy anything other than Klipsch now!

finally a desktop sound system that is more than worth it's money. I've had 3 or 4 different systems over the year, each time paying more... wondering when I finally might find something good. well, this system is good. for $149 you get the sound that leaves little to wish for – in a PC speaker system.

Have other Klipsch products so ordered this and excellent sound and easy set up. Very impressed.

These replaced a set of Bose speakers. Excellent choice I made. They are connected to my apple iMac desktop. I hardly ever use my home theater surround sound anymore. You can't go wrong with klipsch. I will never go Bose again!!!!

I bought this product based on product reviews from this BB site. I am extremely impressed with the Promedia System product so far. I purchased 2 "PREMIUM" Cambridge Soundworks sat systems with unpowered subs a few years ago for over twice the price and the CBSW products don't even come close to this Klipsch system for sound quality and value! From now on I will be looking to Klipsch for all of my speaker needs. 10/09 AJ

For the price you cannot beat this system. Why pay twce as much for something like BOSE when the quality of this unit is, in my opinion, superb. The quality throughout the whole sound spectrum is flawless, The highs are crisp and the lows are solid. To get a better setup would mean going to a complete home theater system. The Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 gets my highest recommendation in its class.

These are the best speakers I have ever had. The quality of the sound is very high and the BASS is amazing.

How do you know you just bought some "KILLER" computer Speakers? When the COPS have towait for a break between songs for you to answer the door!!

Very punchy sound. Separately adjustable bass level. Great all 'round use. No ON/OFF switch is an absolutely ridiculous thing to leave out in a product designed to be used with a computer. What were they thinking?? Also, it seems like this product may be on its way to retirement despite its great reviews. Haven't seen a good replacement from Klipsch. I have heard the wireless version suffers from drop out problems....

I love listening to music on these speakers, the clarity and bass is like nothing I've ever heard from computer speakers.

I listened to this setup in the store and was impressed. The model I heard was the floor model and they were out of stock so I had to go to another store. On the way to the other store I got online and saw that they were on sale on BB.com. So I bought them for the sale price and picked them up at the store. It was definately a good buy. The sound is much better when you get them home in an average size room.

I bought these speakers then took them back to try the Bose 2.1. Big mistake. The Kilsch speakers were much better. The speakers brought a small room to life and has a lot of power. Great Speakers (Klipsch) for the money!!

Small package excellent sound at all levels,good controls. Power is more then enough.
