$160 bucks for Computer speakers? Yes, spend it if you desire crystal clear sound quality as I do. These speakers are OMG, amazing! I have always been a sound quality freak and I've never heard anything like this, these speakers are far and above anything I've ever heard. Going to upgrade every speaker in my house to Klipsch after hearing these things! WOW, AWESOME, KICK Butt... get ya some!

Hooked these up to my 60' TV and wow this is crazy loud and the quality is awesome!! by far the best buy!!

I bought these since I was looking for an alternative to surround sound due to space constraints. I attached them to the converter box for my 42 LCD and the sound is amazing. They are not just for computers anymore.

amazing speakers and the subwoofer really hits hard. i would recommend to pick these up when they are on sale.

these are nice speakers but the new ones have no power switch, so they are always on, and i read someone blew them out in 3 days from plugging and unplugging from the wall to turn them off, and thats annoying as all heck! but the sound is really nice

I needed a pair of speakers for music, movies, and shows for my Macbook. I was thinking about purchasing the Bose 2.1 system, but I really didn't wanna pay $400 just for computer speakers. I decided to take a chance with a less expensive model; the Klipsch 2.1 ProMedia set. I plugged these in to my Macbook and I have a no complaints so far. The satellites put out fantastic sound and the subwoofer will rattle your desk. I enjoy resting my feet and the subwoofer and "feeling" the music. I haven't been able to really crank these yet but so far everything sounds good, from classical to rap to The Office. I love being able to manually adjust the bass through the subwoofer with a knob located on the right speaker. The grills on the satellites are removable. The right speaker contains the volume and bass controls, headphone jack, and a jack for an external source. I honestly can't tell a difference between these and the Bose. Klipsch is a high quality brand (and Bose is, as well) and these speakers live up to the name.

BOSE eat your heart out! This set of speakers is ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! The highs, mids, and lows are all in sync. I find it hard to walk away from my computer. This is as close to a full size home stereo entertainment system as it gets. I can not believe the sound quality.

These speakers sound fantastic and are far superior to the Logitech Z523's (which I ditched within 24 hours of purchase due to sound quality concerns). The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers have good detail, warm sound, and a depth that exudes quality. They do not sound harsh or shrill at reasonable levels and are well balanced with the subwoofer. They play quite loud, but will begin to distort and sound harsh when pushed to the limit (which is quite loud).When playing the Logitech Z523's loud, you can feel the speaker cabinet vibrate contributing to a buzzing sound you can hear. Vibration is not an issue with the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1. In all fairness to Logitech, the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers do cost more than the aforementioned Z523‘s, but the difference in sound quality is greater than the difference in price. I was quick to accept the myriad reviews that lauded praise on speakers like Logitech makes, but it is clear to see (and hear) that tried and true speaker manufacturers (as opposed to mouse and keyboard manufacturers) now how to build quality for the purpose of high quality sound reproduction. After three different speaker system auditions, I have found the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 to be a great balance of audiophile sound quality for the person on a budget. I would definitely recommend these speakers to anyone looking in the $100 to $150 price range.

I was originally going to go with the Bose Companion 2 Series III speakers, but after reading reviews, watching videos, and speaking to an employee who has owned both, I went with these instead. I have been using them with my Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB professional turntable, and they sound great! They are a good alternative to bookshelf speakers if you are low on space, though the amp is a bit bulky.

After being less than impressed with the sound quality of my of my new pc included speakers, I went shopping for something with more kick. I am more than impressed with the sound quality. From watching movies to listening to music,this system ROCKS !

I bought the 2-year replacement plan with the money saved ($30.00) when it is on sale... you can save even more with an "open box" item... The cost is high but it worth it.

I purchased this system 4 years ago and I didn't use it alot but always enjoyed the sound.However I just purchased a 8 series Samsung tv and hooked this system up to it and it sounds amazing!! It's worth the price and the warranty is 5 years vs 1 year for competitors! I will purchase more of Klipse products.

Let me put it plain and simple. I researched these online and saw the customer ratings and new they were good. So I went to the store, picked them up and as I am walking to the register, a best buy employee walked up to me and said, "Great Pick. We stopped selling them and people started to complain, so we brought them back" Enough said. BUY THEM. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I am completely blown away by these speakers - crisp clear treble and midrange, booming bass - easy volume control including subwoofer to give just the right amount of bass. These were meant to be just 'computer speakers', but they fill my entire basement with fantastic sound. If these are anywhere close to your price range, buy them - you will be glad you did!!

This is a great speaker system. It runs a little more than the other systems that Best Buy offers but the extra couple of bucks is worth it. Adjustable bass on the tweeter speakers is a great feature. The speakers are fairly light and produce great sound. If you love your music, you should buy these speakers I only wish the speakers had mounting screw positions because they could double as a decent sound system for a small home theater.

It is a trial for me to buy Klipsch. It turned out to be way exceeding our expectations. The sound quality is comparable or better than Bose with a much favorable price. We loved it! Later I researched into this company --- it is a home-grown American company in Indiana. Isn't it amazing? Yes, yes, listen to me, I would recommend to any friend. I plan to buy two more sets (one is tower) Klipsch!

Very nice sound. So Glad I bought these. Times are tough. I had to go outside my comfort zone because, after all, computer good speakers are a luxury. Seriously. I am not a paid endorser of these speakers but as I sit here listening to them as I endorse them...WOW. Enjoy. @ $150.00.
