Very nice sound. So Glad I bought these. Times are tough. I had to go outside my comfort zone because, after all, computer good speakers are a luxury. Seriously. I am not a paid endorser of these speakers but as I sit here listening to them as I endorse them...WOW. Enjoy. @ $150.00.

After around 2 years one channel on the sup (which powers the speakers) died. May replace them because the sound was great for all types of music. The extended warrantee may be worth it based on the cost.

These speakers produce AWESOME sound..my only complaint is that their is NO POWER button. Even the cheapest set of PC speaker has a power button! 5 Stars for sound quality / 4 stars overall because of the lack of a power button. My solution was to plug them into an separate surge protector/power strip to turn them on and off. I still highly recommend these speakers.

This system is awesome. I work in Nashville, in the music bussiness I wanted a small system for my computer, I purchased this one, set it up on my computer, opened a song by Tina Turner " Whats Love Got to Do with It " and I about had an Or-gas-im, I mean WOW all for $150 bucks, I purchased "another" same system and put it on my Flat Screen in the music studio, I put in Star Wars IV dvd and oh my God,it turned it into a whole different system. I purchased yet another for my wife. and purchased yet another other for my son, all within a couple days, you will NEVER have buyers remorse, you will have evreyday the best system you will ever get at this price no kidding. This company found the sweet spot in the audio spectrum for this size speakers and doubled its presence at one third the cost, period, prove me wrong!

Wow, I just bought them today and these speakers really makes my room shake! I never expected so much bass out of that little subwoofer. I gave it a 4 star on the Sound Quality just because the highs don't really work for me, if they would sound like the Bose Companion 2 Series II in the highs, I would give it a 5 star on the Sound Quality. Over all these are some awesome set of speakers. I would recommend them to anyone.

I am so happy. Klipsch only makes quality stuff. I have a home in Florida and we have Klipsch throughout the house and having experianced the quality before, I couldn't pass on another product from them. Totally worth the price. Plug and play is always a great thing.

I noticed that there are not reviews on this computer speaker system so i have decided to make this my first review , usually i wouldnt waste my time doing this but i want everyone to know if your interested in purchasing yourself speakers for your computer there is no better option than the Klipsch 2.1 pro .. The sub is amazing for the size 6.5" and the 2 front speakers are perfect combination of highs and mids. When looking at this system i was hesitant on what it would sound like at home but have realized this price is absolutely incredible for the sound you get coming from these badboys!! I would not hesitate to add this as my favourite product of the year, for $150 its amazing and can beat most systems priced at $400-$500!!

I use this system for preparation of a set for our praise band at church. I consider myself a bit choosy when it comes to sound. I truly believe there is not better system at this price including Bose.

These speakers are amazing when it comes to sound. My game play is so much better. Playing music never been better.
The only things that I'm not fully happy about are the cost and the wire set up. I find them just a bit to high in price, but paying for great quality. The wire set up from the satellite speakers to the woofer is a bit annoying. It's not difficult, but would be for those that have no idea how to set it up.

Great Speakers For The Price

I've actually had these speakers for well over 5 years now. I liked them so much, I recently bought a new set for a computer in a different room. I've never had any component fail in the 5 years I've had them. The sound has always been solid, and never any crackling or "bleed through" from other devices. I like the looks of the speakers as well. Some of the other brands I looked at seemed a bit odd-looking and I wanted something that blended in, not stood out. This isn't a stereo system, they're speakers.
My only complaint is that they don't have an on/off switch on the speakers. A minor drawback, but still a bit silly.

These are REALLY GREAT computer speakers! Almost perfect. My only complaint is that the speaker volume knob intermittently has a little static when adjusted on low settings. It is similar to the rheostats on older stereo systems. Minor detail when compared to the price and sound quality and other factors. I would definitely recommend these to a friend or enemy for that matter. I hope this helps.

I bought the Bose Companion 2 at first thought it would be enough for my PC, but realize I love bass in my music. Took it back at another Best Buy
and saw a Klipsch demo display. Didn't think twice and happy that I got it
for about $50 more it was well worth it. Solid and great appearance speakers. Lots of bass to go around

My old computer speakers were ok, but I wanted something better since I'm a professional musician and have been all my life.
The sound spectrum is amazing. All the frequencies are crystal clear. The bass can be adjusted to where you want it.
Well worth the money.

I'm using the speakers to supplement the sound of my acoustic research av100 IPod doc. Plug them direct into the headphone jack and these things are perfect. the subwoofer adds great depth and the speakers sound excellent. These are too good to just use on a computer...got'em on sale at best buy for around $135...great deal in my humble opinion...they can't seem to keep them in stock and now I know why...

Great Sound, So So Features and Not Green!

I have owned these speakers for only a month and they sound great! Very impressed with the sound quality. A bit boomy at first, but I just turned the subwoofer volume down to my liking.
They have very good timbre (accurate tonal quality) for the price. They are $100 less than the Bose 2.1 system and IMHO they sound better too.
They sound the best with both volume controls on the right satellite speaker set to just below the suggested level indicator on the subwoofer volume control. Then I control the volume with the computer system volume controls (I have a remote volume control and mute button on my keyboard) Leaving the volume controls alone on the speakers should increase the life of the controls and avoid having some of the problems others are having with them.
I noticed no power on/off control on these so I assumed they included an automatic standby like most home theater subwoofers. Very cool, right?
Well, only if that was the case, but it is not. It appears Klipsch reduced their mfg. costs by eliminating the power switch and the external replaceable fuse so the system is now continuously on when plugged in with the green LED on the right satellite speaker illuminated. I decided to see just how much power is being consumed when these are plugged in so I hooked up to my watt meter and verified that the system does not shut down (monitored for 10 minutes) into low power standby as Derek Schultz of their tech product support team had told me "less than 1 Watt",(http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/p/134547/1363910.aspx) rather the system continuously consumes approx. 30 watts! At 8 cents per kW/h this $1.75 per month wasted electricity.
With all the "Green" hype lately this is very disappointing!
If you use a power strip to shut these down, not a problem.
Meanwhile I'll keep enjoying their great sound!

I am picky. I hate to pay retail. But I come from the age of great rock & roll (late 60's to early 80's), I like my music, and I like it to sound as good as I can get it. I have played with my share of pc speakers, some very good, even had my pc sound go thru stereo to floor speakers. I did not want to pay the price for the Klipsch setup, then I said the heck with it, I'll try them. WOW! This speaker system is the real deal -- all other pc speaker systems I have messed with or listened to in stores are toys compared to this setup. If you are tired of playing with pc speakers, bite the bullet, pay the bucks, and get them. Once you get them going, you will not look back, they are excellent. Take it from and old rock & roller. All the power, crispness, and quality of sound you've been looking for. Just make sure you don't leave them cranked up and hurt your hearing.

I got a 46" Sony Bravia (from Best Buy) for our living room and anyone will tell you that the sound on this TV (and most flat screens) leaves a lot to be desired. So I started looking around at soundbars and component systems --- very disappointing and very expensive.... What I discovered was that with a simple cable adaptor, I could plug 'powered' speakers into it instead. Klipsch has always been a big name in speakers, from home audio to studio monitors. One minute at my local Best Buy told me that this was what I wanted ..... This system easily rivals the Bose system I have in the family room.
Think a little outside the box and try it.
