I was looking at some more expensive options but I'm so glad that I went with these. The sound is great and setup was super easy. The speakers look great as well. Only downside is that they are always on, there is no way to power them off. You can turn them down all the way, but not off.

Excellent Sound Quality, Poor Durability

I loved this specific speaker system―while it lasted. The bass is super rich, which tended to or sufficed my hip-hop/rap needs. Unfortunately, do to incessant use (I love listening to music in my dorm), they died on me (the system shorted and then started chugging out plums of secondhand), after three weeks of having purchased them. Best Buy was cordial in my return and I still hold a place in my heart for this Klipsch speaker system.
It's worth the risk, just be sure to keep the receipt and maybe, get an extended warranty.

Very Good to Excellent Sound

I have several computers. I have a set of the Bose Companion 2 Speakers and head to head on the same computer - these blow the Bose set out of the water. No comparison. So good I can't imagine that an extra $100 gets you anything better.
I like audio with Boston Acoustics and B&W on my television.

Excellent speakers for the price

These speakers are better than many others that are selling for a much higher price. They are surprisingly loud and the subwoofer is crisp. I just use them in the bedroom while I work out or am doing some work. Don't waste your money on other speakers selling for 2X or 3X the price. I've heard them all and these are generally going to be much better.

Great speakers, not up to all the hype

These are great speakers for the price that have a big reputation. I read all about these online and got my hopes up for something exceptional but the reality is that they are just great, not excellent. Still, recommended

If Klipsch is the name, you can't go wrong. Period! I have owned Bose, Sony and even the old Macintosh of yesteryear. Nothing comes close.
I actually own two sets of these speakers. Just be careful with the bass. It's got a pair! AAAAAAAA+

These speakers are simply amazing, and worth every penny. They far surpass anything I have previously owned, and I've owned quite a few sets of PC speakers. The sound is rich and vibrant throughout the entire spectrum, and enables me to hear nuances in music that other speakers simply cannot reproduce.
I have noticed many reviewers complaining about the power switch being located on the back of the subwoofer. I agree, this is odd, but it's honestly not a huge deal when you look at the positives. Firstly, the speakers emit no noise if you set the volume to the lowest setting. Secondly, the control for the subwoofer level is on the control speaker. This is something I've never seen before. It enables you to adjust the subwoofer level without continuously having to dive under your desk and fiddle with a hard to reach dial. If you can deal with the green LED being on, the oddly located power switch simply becomes a minor cosmetic ugly.
Also, the speaker wiring allows either of the two on-desk speakers to be the left channel or the right channel. This is nifty if you're picky about where the speaker controls are in relation to your mouse, etc.
The Klipsch name is big in audio. These speakers are THX certified. They are amazing. If you want high quality audio at a reasonable price, you honestly cannot go wrong with this package.

I went on a whim and bought these speakers. All I can say is these are your bang for the buck.............. loud clear and did I say loud...............thump thump thump goes my floor and everyone near my house can hear depeche mode. I got these on sale for 129.00 so if you see them for 150.00 wait and get them cheaper. Oh by the way they work great with my IMAC.

I have purchased 4 of these for various members of my family for their pc's both laptops and desktops. These things crank out the bass and have very nice mids and highs as well. My kids use these with their pc's in place of a compact stereo set. Recently a household pet chewed through the coaxial cable and I thought that unit was toast...surprise Klipsch sells a replacement set with a fresh set of controls for $25.00! And did I mention they crank out the bass?

Great PC Speaker System

Purchased the Klipsch PC Speaker system and am totally satisfied with it's performance. Replaced a much more expensive system from Cambridge Soundworks which, for some unknown reason, just DIED on me. Relying on Klipsch quality in the field of audio systems has proved successful. Great sound quality and music realism from a fair priced system. Bravo!

Great Speaker Before They Die

The sound these speakers puts out is outstanding. I loved them for the 3 years they worked. Then, one of the satellite speakers stopped working. I read some online reviews that said blown fuses were a common
occurrence, so I started by replacing those. It worked for 2 or 3 days, and the fuses blew again. After the 4th set of fuses, I decided to trash them. I would not recommend this product, unless you don't mind adding to the landfill after just a year or two.

These Speakers & the Sub have a SICK amount of Bass. It is better than many stereo systems I have heard. I only use about 20% of its output! Tweeters sound great too. I have many Klipsch Products and they are all unbeatable in quality.

I bought these speakers for my laptop computer over 4 years ago at Best Buy. I didn't want to buy them at first because I thought that spending $150 on computer speakers was way too much. To this day I do not regret my decision. I use them almost everyday and they still sound like they are brand new! My college roomates love having the speakers hooked up and play them as well. I have used them in watching movies, with the aux in port, and it does a fantasic job at hitting the low ground trembling bass. The adjustable bass knob is a nice plus because sometimes the bass does overpower the sound coming out of the system. I wouldn't compare them to the similar Bose system, but you do save yourself some major $$$. The clarity does drop in the speakers after a certain point unlike the comparible Bose setup but I never need to play the music that loud. Believe me it is loud enough and will fill any room with ease.

Have one of these systems from 6 years ago and it still sounds great so thought I would buy another, what a letdown!
EVERYTHING is cheaper. The orig subwoofer weighed about 15-lbs, the new one weighs about 9. The cabinet is exactly the same dimensions, but the power transformer is now totally wimpy.
The old subwoofer had an on/off switch, the new one doesnt, even the AC cord is about 2-ft shorter.
All in all, the new one doesnt have the richness in sound my original 6 year old system has.
I still sounds pretty good, but what a letdown.

These sound great. If I had one bad thing to say about these speakers it's the fact that they almost have too much bass. You can control the amount somewhat but at louder volumes it almost becomes too much. Other than that, they have met my expectations.

This speaker system is $50 dollars more than the Bose Companion II series 2 which I exchanged for it. Unparalleled performance. Not even close on all levels, including aesthetics. Very high quality manufacturing and all around performance. I highly reccommened. The only reason I rated sound quality @ 4 is b/c there was not a 4.9.
