Until you have listened to music on high-quality speakers or headphones, you may not fully appreciate the difference they can make.
Sound: Detailed. You will hear elements of songs you may not have heard before. While the bass is emphasized, it is not overwhelming except with the most bass heavy recordings. Not overly bright with high frequencies either.
High sensitivity - 110 db/1mW. Even a smartphone or tablet will generate more than enough volume even at low settings. A laptop or desktop computer will need its volume level turned down very low.
Fit: The ear tips are comfortable. In my case, they do not stay in perfectly, but they do not create enough pressure to hurt my ears either. Fatigue from use should not be an issue for most.
Mechanics: The cable is a little short at around 4 feet, but it works for me. The plug is straight, not a right angle plug. There is a strain relief built into the cable near the plug, but not near the earbuds. Unknown how that will affect durability long term. The fabric pouch is a nice touch to help reduce wear when carried in a bag with other items.
I found myself enjoying music more on my laptop and smartphone. Old tracks gained new life. You can spend a lot more, but diminishing returns apply.

These sound very accurate and just as good, if not better than my good ol' Klipsch S4's I've had for about 6 years. They have lower and warmer bass, excellent mid-range (where most of the music lives), and detailed accurate highs. I am not complaining at all about the sound for a sub $100 pair. I know everyone is all into the wireless stuff these days, but man you are missing out not giving these a try, they are worth the wire. Klipsch has the oval ear tips that really do add to the comfort. Maybe one downside is the tube that accepts the proprietary ear tips is of a smaller diameter than most, so adding your own set of ear tips might be more difficult, but I did manage to get a few of the hundred I have around here to fit nonetheless. Then again, you might not even want to change away from the excellent oval shaped tips anyway, they really are comfortable, but I like to play around with my sound. I can't complain about build quality at all, these feel like they're built every bit as well as my old Klipsch S4's and I've put them through it all over the past 6 years and they just sound better and better to me all the time, my old reliable set. If looks matter to you as well, this is a good looking set, small and lightweight too, so this further adds to the comfort. So if you want a very good sound that's accurate enough to mix and listen critically but you don't want to carry around a larger set of over ears, or you just want a killer sounding casual set... these.

Several years ago, when I was shopping for a pair of earbuds, I was strongly considering investing in a pair of Bose noise-cancelling earbuds (at the time, the technology was cutting edge, especially in something so small) - which would have carried a hefty $200 price tag. I was hesitant because of this, and asked a friend of mine who worked in the audio department at my local Best Buy his thoughts. "Don't buy the Bose," he said, "buy these instead." And showed me to the Klipsch R2 earbuds. I purchased them, because they came in at $80, and because I already knew Klipsch from the ProMedia speakers I still use for my PC.
I was not disappointed in the least. The highs were crisp and sharp, the bass was impressive, and the shape of the silicon inserts molded to my ears perfectly, securing them deftly while blocking out just about all noise around me. These earbuds were my faithful companions through study sessions in noisy cafes, through watching YouTube in the late hours of the night when my roommate needed to sleep, through countless flights from Massachusetts to California and back, through Skype interviews, through noisy afternoons in cubicle city, through phone meetings and global teleconferencing, through falling in and out of love, through growth, through late night work and gaming sessions, all while helping me keep to myself, and providing incredible sound quality.
When the driver in the right earbud began to give out after a decade of very frequent use, I was quite sad. The R2 earbuds had been so good to me, but I knew they owed me nothing. So, I took myself to Best Buy, fearful that, with the advent of wireless earbuds, Klipsch might not have kept up with their reference series. I resolved myself that, if I could not find the successor to my R2 earbuds, I'd pay the Apple tax and buy a pair of EarPods (which, to be fair, are very good for what they are). However, I have to admit a big smile came to my face when I found these, the Klipsch R6 earbuds (and on sale at the time - I paid less than $60 for them). Immediately after purchasing them, I opened the package, and I was blown away once again. I didn't think it was possible to have higher audio fidelity than the R2, but I was wrong. The R6 are a clear improvement in every way.
These earbuds produce a crisp sound across the entire range, with improved frequency response and a higher potential output (meaning they're louder). Klipsch even managed to improve the noise isolation technology, which was already excellent. All in all, these earbuds are remarkable in just about every way, and vastly superior to my roommate's EarPods (so long as you don't mind a wire).
My one complaint about these has nothing to do with the product itself so much as the accessories. My original R2 earbuds came with an aluminum case with foam inserts to keep the earbuds secure while they were packed (similar in size to an Altoids tin). I highly suspect this contributed to their longevity, and why I was able to consistently use them for a decade. However, the R6 earbuds come instead with a small fabric bag with a drawstring, which provides substantially less protection for the product. I am fortunate in that my R6 earbuds fit in the R2 tin pretty nicely, but I would be remiss if they did not. I can't imagine that bit of folded aluminum was terribly expensive to produce, and so I'd urge Klipsch to consider including it in future iterations of the product.
On the whole, I highly recommend the Klipsch R6 II earbuds. They are an amazing value, and I can easily see them accompanying me through the next few chapters of my life (so long as 3.5mm earphone jacks endure).

These earphones were one of my favorites because the quality and weight of these were like nothing I have experience. The comfort of these were superb especially wiring sound to the ear didn't annoy or notice when you were listening to something. I highly suggest these earphones, they are a must have if you need earphones.

I've always had problems with earbuds fitting in my ears properly and staying in. Until I bought these. The Klipsch have oval cushions instead of round. The result is they fit snugly and comfortably in my ears and they stay there. The sound is excellent, with crisp but not shrill highs, and substantial but not boomy bass. These are by far the best earbuds I've ever owned.

I have found these ear buds to be the best for the price. They stay in the ear regardless of the activity. The last pair played well for 18 months. Given the wear and tear from running outdoors, gym, and outdoor landscaping, that is acceptable.
My only complaint is that the wires should be thicker to better protect and last longer.

So I went to the store looking for a pair of beats, but walked out with these, as they were sold out. The store rep recommended these, and after having these for the past month, I do too. Great sound quality. Low lows, crisp highs, defined mids, and multiple ear tips to find the right fit. No complaints, very happy to have found this gem!

Very good wired headphones if all you're concerned with is sound quality. Very good bass response, and very comfortable to wear an extended period of time. I wear these riding a motorcycle with zero issues. Only complaint is no microphone for phone use, but its a non issue for me

Pros: the price has dropped dramatically since when they first came out. Why pay for noise canceling when these bad boys got into your ears and you get no outside noises. I love that they are light weight as well. And The bass, treble, voice are super clear.
Cons: I don't like how they went back to the flimsy end piece that connects to your mp3 device. Otherwise that they truly stand behinde their name.

This was an excellent buy for under $60.00 and it's comparable to the more expensive ones, or even better, maybe. The sound was awesome, it's not deafening even if I turn the volume to the maximum. The best part is the ear piece...you barely feel it there and it's not painful to the ears and not bothersome. I will buy it again if I need to.

Got these to replace some headphones that didnt work for the gym. The sound quality is great and the ear pieces fit really well. They dont slip out of your ear as most ear buds do. The only downfall is the cable is really short. I couldn't use the headphones while doing certain excercises.

I have been in pursuit of wired ear phones that sound great. I have tried ear buds but they fall out and I loose them. I tried a small headphone but it gave me a headache because it pinched my head. These are fantastic. They are even shaped thinner and curved so they fit in the ear canal. Everyone who has problems buy these. You will be so happy.

I’m always impressed with the sound quality from Klipsch. They are extremely comfortable and come with different size plugs, so they can fit any ear size perfectly. The higher tones are crisp and the lower tones are deep enough to make you feel like your at a concert. I highly recommend.

Giving these Earbuds 5 stars for these reasons. They work and sound great. I've been using them everyday for 2 years straight. My Dre Beats would only last me about a single year. These have not disappointed me at all. I highly recommend buying Klipsch.

Decent performance for budget earbuds. Bass is much, much improved over the previous iteration of these earbuds (bass was absolutely awful on the previous model), but it's still not much to write home about. These sound much better, much clearer than typical cheapy earbuds you might find at a gas station or Walgreens, but not much better than earbuds that might come bundled with a nice smartphone (like a Samsung, for instance.) Keep your expectations in check, and you might be pleased with these. Otherwise, you'll need to look at more expensive options to sate your audio appetite.

After reviewing many other types of earbuds and considering my budget I bought the klipsch r6 II and I don't regret a thing. They provide great comfort I can use them for hours without any issues, the sound is clear and pronounced with clean highs and very punchy lows.

I have used 100-Watt Klipsch speakers in my home theater sound system for over 12 years and saw the Klipsch - R6 II Wired In-Ear Headphones on the shelf in BEST BUY. Had to get them and glad I did. Love Klipsch. Of course, beauty is in the ear of the beholder but they really do it for me. Klipsch was a family business started in Hope, Arkansas and was bought out by another American company VOXX International out of Orlando that started as Audiovox in 1960. Love to buy American made products. Keeps my money at home. I lost one of the ear cushions so I called Klipsch up and they had my replacement ear cushion plus extra backups to me right away. Still sound like family to me. Nice people. Good products. I like Klipsch.
