I upgraded from a 10" polk which really struggled. This has huge sound.

Love the how much bass it delivered. Makes the surround so much better.

I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile but I do appreciate good sound and generally know when I hear it. I got the whole set of reference speakers on Black Friday. Honestly I wouldn't have been able to talk the significant other into a purchase like this if it wasn't for the half off. That being said these speakers pack some real bang for the buck. Even at full price I think they would be reasonably priced. I have the whole set paired to a Yamaha rxa 760. The base at first sounded terrible after I did the ypao...automatic speaker calibration...super boomy and undefined. The trick was to set all the satellite speakers as small and cross everything over at 80hz....HUGE DIFFERENCE. Base is now really precise and the crossover region sounds a lot better. Great sub. Shakes the walls on movies and sounds good when turned down for rock, country, classic music.

Plenty of bass for my application. Not set up in the larget of rooms but sounds great. Recently upgraded my receiver two one that accepts two subs and it def shakes the house. Great price from bestbuy as well. Klipsh makes great stuff

This sub is highly recommended if matching with the Klipsch R-28F's floorstanding speakers. This sub is for the price to value & performance is unmatched. I purchased this sub as part of my home theatre system which includes the above referenced R-28's. Black Friday special made this buy an even sweeter deal. Though the Klipsch were not on display in the Magnolia theatre department I have listened to them and they sounded awesome. I am in by no means an audiophile or an expert by any means but I have always enjoyed great sounds to include clear highs, mids, and lows with low distortion and great clarity. Keep in mind the quality also depends on the audio source that feeds this sub; as in any high quality home speaker system. The Reference series will not disappoint especially for the great price Best Buy had to offer during Black Friday.

This is a great subwoofer! The sound is way better than my previous sub. This is a must buy if you are looking for a good subwoofer for your surround sound or to listen to music. The bass will rattle the picture frames on the walls.

This subwoofer is outanding. I’m no audiophile, but for our home movie room it really rocked out socks. We liked it so much we went back and bought another one for our living room that’s twice the room size. Again, excellent!

I am very pleased with my Klipsch Ref. 12 subwoofer. It has added quality to my home theater system by providing the deep clear lows, bass, and boom needed! It puts you right in the middle of the action and keeps everything pumped up. Luv it!

these are a little on the pricy side but they deliver great sound.

After visiting a friend's house who has a $8K dollar system I realized I needed to upgrade my subwoofer from my 6 inch Polk (which hit very hard for its size).... this one.... THE WHOLE HOUSE VIBRATES. So much that the vents in a room on the second floor in the opposite corner rattle... definitely recommend this!! Very glad I went this the 12 over the 10
