As an owner of Klipsch Heresy II's I never thought I would fall in love with an RF series speaker, but I did and it was phenomenal, efficient, well balanced and they can really stand up to the ultimate test, movies. The Heresy II has a personality, and rolls off at 63 Hz., these guys have an added presence because they roll off at 32 Hz or so, giving them much more feeling than the Heresy. Ok, so the dual port rear cabinet helps. The Heresy III is $1550/pair. These really outperform many speakers costing much more, they are really efficient, meaning that a whole lot of amp is not needed, so w/a 100 watt per channel receiver you will have room to spare as these have a phenomenally clear, detailed sound at both low and high volumes. they are well designed, constructed and sound great at all volume levels. Paul Klipsch once said that the purpose to making an efficient speaker was to avoid amplifier clipping, those words still hold true today. If you have the money, do it.

I'm overly impressed with these speakers. They sound great with both music and movies. I listen to a lot of live music and with these speakers I feel like I'm at the concert all over again. They handled everything I threw at them and sounded great even at very high volume. I was impressed with the bass these speakers have as well. I didn't expect much bass out of them but they sound fine without a sub. I also purchased the RW-10d sub to go with them, and the combination of these speakers with the sub allows for all kinds of functionality. At 400 dollars each, these speakers are expensive but once you bring them home and hear them with your system you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone looking for superior sound quality and willing to spend the extra money.

Purchasing new speakers for a home theatre is not an easy task, not only are you looking for durability and good quality products that will last you a long time. With speakers you are also looking for how the sound works for 'you', what sounds great to you might not for someone elese. I spent a couple of weeks running around stores in San Diego and listening to a variety of speakers include the Def Techs and Polks along with many others while I compared speakers at the same price range these were definitly the best ones! I am also glad that Klipsch tried to make the towers look nicer instead of just having one big black tall box sitting in your livng room. The little stand with the legs at the bottom was a nice touch.

I bought these as part of my home theater a little bit more than a year ago. I decided to base all my home theatre sound on them. The rest were also good speakers, but not at this level. These Klipsch are first class. I listen to music a lot with them, and of course, movies and a lot of music DVDs. Music is my profession. The frequency range is enough to deal with lows and hi's and of course mids. They would be a perfect stereo pair. I just have them as part of a whole 5.1 system. I also have a Sony Sub which a barely set it on with a lower than usual filter frequency, because I prefer the sound of the Klipsch than the Sub, but with the levels and cutting frequency I have in my Sub, the whole system works great.

The Rf-62a are great speakers for everything u feed them. if u have a "good" powered sub i recommend just getting the Rf-62's instead of the Rf-82's unless u dont have one, just because these speakers were not built for bass there built for outstanding clairty, althought the 82's will have a little bit more bass then the 62's. After purchasing these i watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the battle scenes sound amazing especially the swords clashing. Every little detail is picked up with the horn tweeters

These are terrific speakers for the price. They provide an outstanding balance for a 2.0 stereo solution. If you get the right receiver (I recommend Denon) you can use virtual mode to make the floor speakers sound more like surround sound speakers. Just be aware that these are floor speakers so they are very large. Enjoy!

This are some of the best towers I've heard, I was comparing this to some definitive and mirage towers but for the price you cant go wrong being the least expensive from the group. They give you a complete sound out two towers, movies sound great! you will love these especially for music!

I paired two of these up with a Klipsh 10" RW-10DBLA sub and an Onkyo TX-SR503 receiver. Perfect for the music and movie combo. Sitting in front of these makes me feel like I'm the guy in that old Maxell commercial. Simple, yet very impressive.
