    Greatest Earbuds I've Had

Let's get a few things out of the way first. If the following are necessary, do not consider this product. - These earbuds are wired - THe length of the earbuds are not terribly long. If you keep your phone a few feet away you will have trouble with these. - The cable is thin. If you need rugged earbuds, do not consider these. These are very skinny cables. - The bud composition is unusual, and if you are not comfortable with buds going towards your face rather than away, these are not for you. With that out of the way, the sound on these are osme of the best I've heard. The sound is excellent in the highs, and the bass isn't so loud as to drown out the instrumental backgrounds. However, the bass really simply depends on the volume. The volume, I realized, is more like a bass volume button. It may simply be my interpretation, but I've noticed that it seems like the treble of the sound does not raise high while bass raises dramatically with each interval in which you raise your volume. At about 80%, the bass is absolutely stunning and will leave you in awe, practically. The way buds enter your ears are...different, but they worked out for me. The buds are more of an oval shape, and they enter from the back and quite a bit inwards. This is, as expected, quite a good way to cancel noise. I've never said "What!?" to my family more times with any other earbuds compared to this thing right here. Whether this is a good thing or bad thing is up to you. For me, that's a good thing.

Great sound, and unexpected Android functionality

Comfortable to wear, easy to grasp for inserting and removing from the ear, and great balanced sound and music detail, ESPECIALLY for the sale price of $52. After researching (online) what control pad features I could expect to work with an Android phone (the i in its name designates iOS compatibility), it looked like the only function that I would be able to use it for would be phone calls, which is a feature that my previous earbuds did not have due to a lack of a microphone. I was VERY pleasantly surprised to discover that the inline control unit can pause and play, skip to the next or previous track, and answer a phone call. I use Google Play Music on my LG V20 phone with Android 7.0. Volume control does not work, and not sure about ending phone calls. The microphone does allow using it for phone calls. So far my only gripe is that the cord seems thin and relatively fragile. I also wish the button on the control pad felt a little more distinctive, so I could locate it more quickly by touch. All frequencies from bass on up seemed strong and very crisp to me, and the earbuds themselves give the impression that they are well made and rugged. Included in the package are different sized ear tips (the stock Medium size fit me best), and a cloth drawstring carrying pouch. That is OK, but I personally use a slim steel 'tin'/container such as mints are sometimes sold in (roughly 3.75" x 2.25" x 0.75"). It provides great protection, and fits great in a shirt pocket (probably pants, too), and would also protect well in a carry-on or backpack. I know that wireless is the hot thing now, with several convenience advantages, but on the other hand, these have no lag watching videos, have no connection drop-outs, have no battery issues, and cost less (or much less) than comparable-sounding wireless earbuds, and can be carried in a slimmer case. Just ironic that these corded earbuds, which are designed to be compatible with iOS devices, are not ideal for the recent crop of iPhones which lack a headphone jack.

    Good sound, but ....

I bought two sets, one for me and one for my husband. The right channel on his set died after one day! Returning that one. Sound quality is good, but there's noise from the cords when you move, os not a great choice for the gym.
