Great subwoofer and excellent value. The bass gets very deep especially for movies.

I play bass in a band and own an Ampeg with 10" speakers. They're the best for accuracy because they're agile, Larger speakers, especially 15" are more boomy (you may think that's a good thing, but what you really want is "punch") and muddy. If you want to move more air, just get more 10" speakers. Check out Sting's amp,, he's got 8 tens. Two tens have more surface area than a 15" and they're tighter. Most really good running backs are the smallest guys on the team. This Klipsch fills our 23'x15' living room w/8' ceilings, carpeted, drapes, etc. Volume 2 1/2 !! But the thing I like most is its low end frequency response. It goes right down to where only an alien could hear it. After seven months of ownership I still find myself letting out an audible "wow". I have it paired with Bose 301's and a Bose center spkr. My friends can't believe their ears when I crank up Paul Simon's Kodachrome or Call me Al. I had a 8" Velodyne until the foam ring deteriorated. I was going to have it re-coned because there's nothing like a Velodyne, until now. When I saw this on sale, I researched it and for 1/3 the price of the Velo., I decided to take a chance. Boy am I glad I did!!! Does anyone want to buy a used Velodyne?

I had a high end 15 inch subwoofer give up the ghost after 20 years in a home theater setup. Best Buy had this model in stock locally and on sale. It's about 35% smaller than the one it replaced, but the sound quality is excellent, and it takes up much less space in the room. Sound is clean and tight. Lows are well defined. Klipsch has been around a long time. While these speakers are now made in China, they still seem to be a quality product. The sub is connected to a Denon AVR X 3500H receiver that has all the latest audio modes for surround sound, including Dolby Atmos. The sub is more than adequate for my home theater setup. Great value. Highly recommended.

Great sub-woofer. I have had this sub for close to 2 years now. I use it mostly for enjoying music, but also for movies. It is seriously powerful, reliable, and adds the necessary deepness required to thicken the sound. Without it, the music sounds too thin and just weak. I want to feel the hits when they come! I normally leave it at 50% power and it can still shake the walls on the other side of the house. My only complaint is that I can't bring it with me when I am driving.

The Klipsch R100SW 10" reference II Powered Subwoofer is a powerful 10" sub that packs a punch. It delivers the low deep bass you need and the hard thumping bass when listening to music too. I love the look of the new line of Klipsch with the copper screws they look great. Awesome addition to my setup.

If you live in an apartment please be warned you WILL get a noise complaint after getting this bad boy setup. This thing thumps hard and the bass on this is next level (I have 2 in my setup). Even at low volume you can still hear and feel the bass. I have been a Bass head for a while and this is one of the best subs I have ever heard.

I was not sure if this subwoofer would be able to produce the bass for my home theater. But I read the reviews on this Klipsch subwoofer, most reviews were positive. I got it setup and was surprised that sound was so much better than my old subwoofer. It does take some time to break in and get adjusted. If you are looking for a small subwoofer you wii want to look at this one

Love it. Great quality, deep bass as you expect and provides a lot of different ranges and bass levels. Beautifully complicated, try it, it is very interesting the variety of options by two rotating buttons and one switch. You need to make adjustments all the time as the sound sources are totally different from each other.

I bought this to replace an older subwoofer. The sound is clear and after you properly adjust it sounds great. This can make booming bass of you want it to but also can just perfectly compliment most systems. I have this paired with Bowers and Wilkins 686 S2 bookshelf speakers. The system is powered by a vintage Denon receiver from back when they made them great. Mostly listening to vinyl and this has been perfect. Bought it as a black Friday special at half off. I only compared it to one other sub in hike another Klipsch sub (8 inch). Huge difference between the two. The other one got returned. Hard to beat this sub in this price range. Not even sure you would get much more at subs twice the price.

I have used Klipsch in my professional career and have always had their speakers at home. Their products have been very durable and sound great. This sub was an easy install and dialed into my system well without being overly boomy. Great bang for the buck.

I live in a dormitory/apartment like setting. The strength of this sub woofer is phenomenal, but you can turn it down and still get a great overall sound quality without bothering your neighbors. I picked this up as an open product. Well worth the price.

I was looking for subs to help build a 7.2 system. Already had Denon AVR s940 and 2 Klipsch RP-800F's. Waited and waited for anything to go on sale, and these came up at $175. apiece. Pretty happy with them. Got 2 of them and I really like the extra oompf I'm getting. My living room is roughly 1,650 sq. ft., so bigger subs would've taken up too much room. Good fit.! The only issue I would have is, why Klipsch couldn't make these in the walnut wrap to match the towers ?

It’s a klipsch subwoofer. So, it doesn’t disappoint. Although it is only 10”, it replaces a 12” jbl sub easily. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone with limited budget.

I got this sub to add as a second to my sony sub. This subwoofer blew the sony sub out the water. Really makes my room rattle in the best possible way. I'm glad I got this sub. Definitely recommend this subwoofer.
