Great bass unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 10 Klipsch to the 12 inch. Noticeable difference in bass . I assume power increase made the change also. Much better for the big room I'm in and you can really feel the bass now. I may add the old one to the system also since I have two sub outputs on my receiver. Good price at $242.00 new.

Great subwoofer.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went in to the store with a budget in mind of $1K to update the bass in my theater. I was replacing two 12" powered subs. I listened to the B&W and other high-end subs in Magnolia. They sounded good, but not to my expectation for the price. Instead, I purchased two of these Klipsch subs. I actually returned the second one without even opening it because the single sub was so clear and loud, that a second was unnecessary. It is actually much louder than the prior two in the room. A huge improvement and at half the cost I anticipated.

Excellent sub

Excellent subwoofer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these to go with my home theater system, and I'm very impressed for the price! Even using one it has nice low frequency coverage. I will admit, it's not thunderously deep, but it handles the majority of movies very well. Even with kids movies it add just enough to keep the adults entertained but not so much it's disruptive to the child's theater experience, at least my children. The cloth grill looks so nice with the rest of the system. It's basic and not over-bearing. Overall this is a really nice sub and an even nicer value.

Sound is clean and powerful!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this unit for about 2 weeks and thus far they are breaking in well. They are part of a 5.1 set-up paired with a set of Klipsch Towers (R-820F's) center (R-34-C) and surrounds (R-51-M). This replaces an older but amazingly robust Audiosource 15" woofer that I had been using in a prior spkr set up. The bass from the Klipsch is (to no surprise) noticeably more smooth, full, and 'pure' ... but I must admit it doesn't seem to go ~~quite as low as the 15". Probably would never notice if I hadn't played them SBS. When listening to music, they do a much better job of naturally complimenting the sound from the fronts, rather than sounding like a separate sound source. We watched Tenet on them to 'break them in' and what a ride!! I am pretty sure it took my neighbors for a ride as well - and we're not even that close. We actually had to (eventually... at the request of my wife) turn it down a bit. (This movie is notorious for heavy bass. Watch it and enjoy!) Overall its a nice sounding unit that looks amazing for our game room.

Purchase of klipsch sub
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item is commonly compared to its rival the srs. I'm no audiophile or expert, but I know this. It hits like you would expect a 12" woofer with 400 watts. I turned the reciever eq. and the sub level down to -10 and it was still hitting really hard. It worried me because I didn't want to disturb the neighbors. Problem solver was turning the gain down. I felt like I was cheating myself out of bass, but, better than getting a noise complaint. Fyi, bose is over rated. Klipsch are very clean and powerful. I wasn't going for the tiny hidden speakers, I wanted to make a statement. Nuff said.

Really rounds out my system
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow! I moved into a condominium and needed a much smaller audio system than when I lived in my 4 bedroom house so I purchased an NAD C328 integrated amplifier and due to brand loyalty I went with Bose 301's. I immediately noticed that low levels and bass were nearly nonexistent. Upon adding the Klipsch subwoofer it completed my system. The Bose do a nice job (for my ears anyway) of the high and mid-range notes and the Klipsch ROCKS the low end. Very happy with my purchase.

Great bang for your buck!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this sub along with the paired bookshelf speakers & this thing really rocks and does so with some serious quality sound output to boot! The bookshelf speakers come with just about every input you need (also with dedicated sub channel input). It’s a 2.1 rig, so you won’t get multi-channel surround sound support, but what you lose there you gain with its super versatility. Bluetooth connectivity, Optical & USB outlets, great sound and solid construction add up to a must buy experience. Why have a picnic when you can have a whole party?!
