I couldn’t decide between Bose Acoustimass and Klipsch Reference. I bought both and a Denon Receiver, hooked up the Bose first and it sounded really good. Was going to return the Klipsch without even trying them. But I’m glad I tried them. Because they were head and shoulders above the Bose! This thing shakes the house and it’s so clean and clear!

Before walking into the store, I had done my research on subwoofers. The klipsch had great sound for a amazing price. When I went in store to buy, the best buy staff told me it was garbage and wanted me to buy the brand the store recommends. Just a little bit of advice, you don't need $1000 subwoofer for your HOME theater to sound extraordinary. But overall this subwoofer does the job for my basement.

had purchased one a couple years ago , really enjoyed it. purchased a second one and it completely rocks , love it with the rest of my klipsch speakers. movies sound so much better, have a nice punch to them

I love the bass it produces! Maximum bass sound, the sound is incredible.

I habe a smler house with an open floor plan, and the "home theater" is right off the kitchen. I needed to turn gain way down to prevent dishes from rattling in the cabinets. I ended up giving this to a friend and keeping the 10 inch version which is better suited to my small theater, and even that is more than enough bass. My little kids called this one "the monster"!

This unit should be able to cover all of your base needs for most rooms. I had to adjust the volume down to make my receiver happy since it thought I was over powering my room.

This 12” 200 watts program/continuous 400 watts peak woofer can thump...! Thump so good that I bought another one. And trust me I know thumps! Having JBL828p, Peavey SP218, and QSC K118. I really like that is has a crossover knob that you can adjust. This sub is great for my home entertainment especially when you’re watching movies in Dolby Atmos...!

Bought these to fill out the lower end my DefTechs couldn't. Excellent speaker. Originally bought one but then we moved and have a dedicated home theater room so I picked up another to even things out. I did pay more for an open box one, only because Klipsch had a 50% off promotion after I bought the first one. Other than that, excellent excellent product

Upgrading from a 10-in Polk audio, and wow is there a big difference. this is definitely not an entry-level subwoofer, this is high-end, excellent quality, and room shaking performance. Would highly recommend to anyone with middle level stereo system, for their home. Still a little ways from a home theater setup, however would highly recommend at the price of $250.

So long story short I had this same brand subwoofer for years but apparently my old one died within the last couple of months and I didn't even notice. I hooked this one up and I was like holy crap what have I been missing this is the greatest subwoofer I have ever owned. I highly recommend buying one of these if you are in the market for a new subwoofer.

Easy to use and amazing bass! This is a great value for the sound quality

Very good sub for the $$$. Well made and is hard to match unless you go over 1k. I have 2 of these in my movie room and they add so much to the system. 2 Subs, one on each side or one front and back of the room will blow you away and help even everything out.

What can you say other than this woofer meets and exceeds all expectations. I have two others in my theater room with my surround sound. These subs rock the house and sound great. The neighbors can hear it which is a plus! Definitely give this brand a chance. They have a sale couple times a year where there 50% off! Usually around thanksgiving and Christmas and in July.
