The only thing keeping me from giving it a full 5 stars is the user manual. While It's written in many languages, they are all intermingled in the instructions. Also wasn't able to link my Roku remote to it yet. Those instructions weren't terribly clear.

Room Filling Sound

The active bass that comes from a unit without an external woofer is rather impressive. There is no distortion even at higher volume levels. This speaker is hands down a top pick if you want clarify and simplicity.

So yes, bass is lacking, but the simulated surround sound and dialogue feature work fairly well. If you intend on hooking up a sub later, look at the equivalent Yamaha, this lacks a sub input.

For the sale price I couldn’t pass up so def worth it I snagged it for $150! Pairs well with my Samsung tv, it gives a nice clear sound effect perfect for my living room apt! Very easy set up! Bonus for Bluetooth connection to iPhone which doubles as a speaker! The only con Is that it automatically turns on by its self!

Small space sound improvement

This is about 50% better than Samsung TV speakers. Does have options that improve sound over tv speakers but lack of a strong bass inhibits total surround sound experience.
