Customers have good things to say about the sound quality of the Reference Series 4" speakers, and some find them easy to mount at height. The design is well-received, and the bass is adequate for some users. However, some customers feel the speakers are somewhat expensive for what they offer, and a larger size might provide a better effect, while others were hoping for more power.

I have a pair of the Klipsch R41SA Reference II speakers as the rear surround sound speakers in my 7.2 channel surround system. The black wood with copper Klipsch nameplate looks sharp and the sound is amazing! I don't ever want to go back to a single soundbar for movie watching again. These speakers sound that good.

Added these to my system and they sound great for little speakers. The shipping was a little slow.

I recently purchased the Klipsch reference series 4" 100 watt speakers and I have been completely blown away by their performance. These speakers truly deliver a remarkable audio experience that is unmatched by any other speakers in their price range.
The 100 watt power handling capacity of these speakers ensures that they can handle even the most demanding audio tracks without distortion or loss of clarity. I've tested them at high volumes and they have never failed to impress me with their ability to maintain accuracy and precision. Hope this helps you decide which speaker to choose when upgrading to aDolby Atmos system without breaking the bank.

I went to buy these Klipsch R-41SA around 2 months ago from Best Buy. I got them on Sale for $299. I also picked up a Pair of the Klipsch R-51M Bookshelf Speakers. Both Speakers blew me away. But there is an Amazing difference between the 2 Types of Speakers. The R-41SA Dolby Atmos from Klipsch is definitely the best on the market. They not only reflect Sound. But also highly pick up on Sounds that you'd only hear in an Actual Dolby Atmos Movie Theater. I was so happy with these Dolby Atmos Speakers that the very next day. I bought a second pair. I use one pair as "Enabled" and the other I hung on my wall for "Elevation". Again I was Amazed. They keep growing in price because Klipsch realized that the R-41SA'S and R-51M's are Truly High Quality Speakers. Extremely Well Made. My Entire surround sound system is Now a 7.2.2 Fully High Resolution, And Fully At Dolby Atmos Surround Sound Home Theater Specs. I'm just lucky that I got them at an Amazing Price. Sorry about the Wires, and not showing the other side of my bedroom. To see my other Dolby Atmos Pair that are Elevated.

I have used these speakers for Atmos in multiple homes. These things deliver as expected and from a well respected company. I used 2 sets of these in my present setup and couldn't be happier. Look for price changes and sales and pay attention to specific model name as the whole line is updated with a new horn etc.

No need to duct out holes in your ceiling to get the overhead effect for sound. These speakers are perfect to give a 3D effect from up high even when simply resting atop tower speakers placed on the floor. Klipsch speakers are quality with great sound.

These speakers i have sitting on top of my rear surround sound making my system 5.1.4, they do an excellent job! Keep in mind when using as directional and mounting on wall/ceiling that ceiling should be flat and not vaulted for best performance.

Such a great addition to my system. Has great sound quality. Sadly, just not exactly what I am looking for from my system. That's not to say anything negative about the actual quality of this speaker.
That is a personal observation and buyer-specific to my choice. Simply a preference on my part. I could use them and still have a first quality experience and never miss a beat.
It most definitely is a great speaker. The price was on point at a 50% sale. I wasn't finished paying for my previous floor speakers when these went on sale. Klipsch sale speakers have a reputation and sometimes are hard to get when on sale. They do sell out fast. So I went ahead and grabbed them while I could.
It does what it's supposed to do. It's attractive and blends well with my existing system. Has the quality one would expect from Klipsch.
For the short time, I have had them I'm going to upgrade to the RP-500SA. Only because I want that little extra oomph from the slightly larger speaker.
If you are looking for Atmos speakers this could serve your system very well.
I am just an average Joe. Not by any stretch a tech whiz. Kinda like the guy next door type. I do know enough to tell what might be missing in the sound I'm after. I just know these speakers are giving me exactly what I want from my system.
For too many years I had to take the lower quality systems simply because I couldn't afford anything better.
Now, I started watching the sales offerings. I know what this system costs when they aren't on sale. I kept an eye out for the "open Box" offers and over the course of a few months was able to assemble just what I want.
Don't be deterred by the open box offers. Best Buy stands 100% behind their open box. If you find yourself unhappy with your choice they will gladly accept it back.
You buy a box that hasn't been opened and you will remove it from the carton anyway when you get it home. So don't let a box determine if you have a good system or not. The box has no sound quality at all.
The item inside is first-rate and comes with the same manufacturers' warranty. Imperfections however slight are clearly stated.
Rarely any obvious difference in the quality. I do buy an open box item when I can. For me, being on a budget, it translates into savings.
That said when you can save $50 - $100 or sometimes more on one speaker that savings can put you into another speaker you may not be ordinarily able to afford on the same budget.
I hope this helps those of you like me. They are budget confined yet want something a little better than what they previously had.
As for recommending this set of Klipsch Atmos speakers, I give them 100% thumbs up. I don't think you can go wrong with them.
