Klipsch has always been number one for me just because you get such a premium sound with a great look, with that copper spun woofer it's so great having a nice set of speakers that always has that big punch and kick to it that has very good Clarity and high pitch sound, obviously there's probably much out there that you can get, but for this price they always been a great speaker that sound amazing and it's always been there for me when I need a great kick, especially for being small I use them for left and right Channel

I bought these specifically to go with my turntable. My receiver also has bluetooth connectivity so I use these to listen to streaming music as well. In both cases, the speakers far exceeded my expectations. For the size and price, they deliver a warm, well-rounded sound. These aren't big enough to really give a "kick" but I'm not looking to rattle the windows! They are great at reproducing all styles of sound from rock/pop/electronica to classical/jazz.

The speakers themselves are great speakers. I purchased these based on the pictures showing the keyhole that you could wall mount with a screw in a stud in the wall. Unfortunately these speakers do not actually have the keyhole. I won't knock the rating of the speakers themselves due to this but just keep this in mind depending on how you want to setup your system. I ended up returning this speakers because of this and how I wanted to setup my system.

Love them they are very good surround speakers. Get a pair

It's Klipsch, you either really like their sound, or you really hate it. This speaker is no exception, it has a very warm sound with bright highs and tight lows with recessed mids. It gives you an exciting feeling when listening to music. The bass in these isn't impressive and needs a dedicated subwoofer for any serious system. These are extremely powerful bookshelves and can satisfy larger rooms in volume output with it's 80 watt RMS and 340 peak, however I think the best way to describe it, is these speakers are quantity over quality, as the detail is tracks and movies are lacking. The highs can also be very fatiguing after longer listening sessions, they almost need their covers on to not sound extremely over-powering in the treble. Like I said before, it's Klipsch, you love it or hate it, and that holds true to these, I mostly liked it, but ending up going with the Polks instead for the better detail and more controlled, clear highs, and fuller mids.

These are great little speakers that are perfect for a smaller room or where you don't want large speakers. I actually bought a pair of speakers that were nearly $800 and they weren't as good as these, so I returned them. My advice is to get them at least three feet high as they sound so much better up higher.

its my first to own this babies. and after connecting them to my sony receiver via speaker wire from rocket ship my jaw just dropped. couldn't be more happy. just the right sound, bass treble and in between. with your amplifier you just cant help but power up this babies. those copper speakers is to die. they're beautiful and distinctive! enjoying listening to my vinyl with this speakers. klipsch the best! only from best buys. thanks guys!

These speakers replaced missing FR and FL speakers for a 6-speaker surround sound system. The other 4 speakers in our set up are high end MK Sound built-in speakers, so I was a little nervous about mixing speaker brands like that. But at the price point (50% off MSRP) I gave it a try and am not disappointed at all. These speakers sound great and blend very well with the MK Sound speakers we mixed them with. No regrets at all and very happy with these speakers.

When these are alone they offer great sound and good bass. At low volume they can be a little lack luster but when you drive them these speakers come to life. When I paired them with the R-120SW, the music and home theater experience blew me away. Klipsh really helps us little guys get close to the audiophile feeling, catch these on sale if you can.

I use these speakers with an older Onkyo receiver, a turntable and cd player. So I use them for music only. I also have a Sony subwoofer with the system. These speakers work great even without the subwoofer, but with the subwoofer it is great. I always judge speakers on how they sound while playing "A day in the life", and "Elephant Talk". All the instruments are clean clear and plenty of bass to run right through my body.

I wanted a good set of bookshelf speakers for my T.V., and record player. I have them both hooked up to a 200 watt JVC receiver. After checking out several reviews on Youtube, I decided to go with these Klipsch Reference Series speakers. I'm glad I did. They sound and look great! These two speakers, combined with a sub-woofer, really fill my living room with sound. I'm not audio expert, but I really like these speakers and would gladly recommend them.

The R-51M is a great entry level speaker from Klipsch. I got this one on sale at a very good price on Best Buy. This is an updated version of the previous model with the same name. Nice bass and midrange sound. You will need pair these with a decent subwoofer and amplifier to get the best sound from them. Worth getting if you are looking to flesh out a surround system. Best used in a small to midsized living room or bedroom.

This added to the already sick home theater system I currently have!

I have spent the last few years trying to build a surround sound “space” even if it was a small bubble in a room where i could hear all the sounds around me. I had spent a couple hundred on bose 301s and had even bought a pair of continentals (the thicker cabinet “high quality” speakers) as my back speakers. It was “good” but then I saw Klipsch speakers at Best Buy. It was time to upgrade. So I bought the tower speakers followed by a sub and even that was enough to surpass a room of 90’s Bose speakers. But then I saw these speakers on sale and my store had an “open box” pair. It’s not that these speakers are magic and fill an entire room, (although they could) they are the speakers that complete a system with enough sound to make you feel like you are in the bubble of the movie without overpowering or distinguishing themselves. That’s what you want. I even ran a test with them off and you can see a missing space where they should be. They blend so well and at open box price on a sale they are hard to beat. Give them a try if you can find them for $200 or less it’s worth it! But use them as back speakers they might lack the power you want as fronts. They pair super well with towers. Happy listening.

I downsized from a full dj setup in my garage to some bookshelfs and a sub. These did not disappoint. I was aiming for better sound quality over my previous system, and looking to save space. The clarity is great, and having a sub really filled in the low end. They do need a little bit of break in for them to really shine, but once broken in, the sound is excellent. If you are in the market for some bookshelf speakers at a decent price, don’t hesitate to check these out!

Great speakers! First speakers to start my home theater journey and got a great price on them for Black Friday. Easy to setup and does well with both movies and music. I would definitely recommend picking these up if you’re just starting out. As you begin to expand your system (if you do) you can always move these to surround which I intend to do. I have these currently paired with the SVS PB - 1000.

These are really good especially on sale. If you are looking for good bookshelf speakers at a reasonable price get these on sale. They won't disappoint. I've got many Klipsch speakers and they sound really good for the price. If you want better you will have to pay much more $. Still may not be better. Love the horns!
