    Exceptional Front Speakers

I have had these speakers for a couple of months now and they abosoultely replay sound with exactness. These speakers do an exceptional job at reproducing all the sounds to the point where one could decifer a particular sound from many different sounds together. In a home theater system the front speakers play all sounds pretty much so they are very important. Very well designed speakers are needed to reproduce sound correctly and these are very well designed speakers. Floor speakers are the best option also for front speakers. You could use the klipsch bookshelf speakers as fronts but they don't produce sound like the klipsch floor standing speakers. So if you have room for floor standing speakers, I would recommend these. In my home theater system I have Klipsch s-2s as surrounds, a c-2 as a center, the sub-12 as my subwoofer. This combination of speakers is impressive to say the least. Coupled with a good receiver, watch out. You want be able to get enough of them. The Klipsh f-2 are a well designed speaker that reproduces exceptional sound. They probably cost a little more than other competitor floor standing speakers but they are worth it. I recommend them

    Big Time Sound

Hail from the rock-n-roll capital of the world. My complete 7.2 sound system with Klipsch F-2, S-2, S-1 and center C-2 rounded out with Yamaha YST-126 subs produce the finest and clearest sound anyone could expect. The F-2's give pure, all-around, high performance on music and movies. You don't need to push them hard to get the discrete tonal make-up of what is being played back. Harshness or mudiness is not an issue with the F-2's as the mid-range is quite well defined. High notes come through at just the right volume in concert with all other instruments being played. Voice & dialog are clean. In all, for the money, sound reproduction quality, appearance - Klipsch is hard to beat.

I was in the market to upgrade my Entertainment needs and looked at alot of floor speakers. I had looked at Boston's, JL Audio etc, and had seen the Klipsch speakers. The Klipsch speakers had outdone all of the others I had looked at with not only power, but the quality of sound and clarity. The price was even better than some. The look, the peak power and RMS of these speakers speaks for itself. The quality is top notch. The F2's are well worth every penny and have made my living room feel like a movie theatre. The amount of sound that comes out of these is amazing, you would think the speakers cost well over $500 a piece for the sound quality they produce.

This is the very best set of speakers I have ever had! When you turn them up they blow you away. Crystal clear highs, and deep bass you can feel in your hair, literally. The bass that these speaker produce shakes my house, I need a new sub to keep up with them. To sum these speakers up it this. This is the best sound and loudest sound you will find for this price! These speakers are worth the money and then some!

    Not bad, but not great

These speakers are priced right but I returned them none the less. When comparing them to my old Infinity SM-80s, I could instantly tell there was a volume difference. No big deal though. After playing with them for some time, I finally came to the conclusion that they simply do not do a very good job of reproducing a loud tight snare drum. What should sound like a tight "Pop" was very soft. Other mids & highs were also soft around the edges. I couldn't deal with it. They were returned the next day.

I purchased a pair of the Klipsch F-2 speakers as the basis for my (eventual) home speaker/theater system. I did a ton of research on the best speakers for both movies as well as music, and came out with the Klipsch Synergy series on top. Obviously this is given a specific price range - but suits me great. I have a Denon AVR-1907 receiver controlling everything and the speakers sound great. So far, these speakers have exceeded all expectations and I recommend them.

I had this speaker about a year ago. It was my first higher priced speaker i had owned. It was a fantastic speaker. Had great bass for my bedroom (especially since i did not have a sub at that time). The horn is quite revealing so it does awesome for movies, but a little "bright" or harsh for music. This is a great speaker for what Best Buy carries. I do recommend. Check out the new line that was just released. Sounds even beter than the current synergy line.

We have 2 of these and 2 Klipsch - Synergy III 8" 2-Way Dual-Woofer Floorstanding Speakers. We use these 2, the one your looking at, as our back surround speakers. The only problem I have with them is that they are not quite like the Klipsch - Synergy III 8" 2-Way Dual-Woofer Floorstanding Speakers, because they have a smaller dual woofer. Overall I would recommend this to someone as a back surrond speaker.

Great speakers. I have the F-2s with the klipsch 10 inch sub and a SLX speaker for the center channel all powered by a Harman Kardon receiver. The F-2s sound awesome and are way better than any of the JBL's at Bestbuy. The quality of these speakers is great and is very well built. Great speakers overall and buy these over any JBL that compete with these speakers.

this speaker low frequency of 39hz gives listeners nice lows as at the same time giving some mids while it's tractrix horn tweeter adds all the highs and mids possible for and enveloping and true stereo effect in music as well as movies.also it's sensitivity is tremendous giving power without overpowering the speaker.

Overall good, floor standing speaker. The mids are pretty good and works perfect if paired with a Sub-10 or Sub-12. Great for music and sports. Important to buy the same brand for every speaker in the system. Go buy them or spend a little extra for the F-3s, which should give a little more base.

These speakers hit the full range of frequencies, and even better sounding when paired with a subwoofer (which is necessary for most speakers). They last forever and have great sound quality, so if you're looking for a great sounding speaker, they qualify.

they sound great but you cant give them to much power. when raise to a high enough volume the sound of the tweeter begin to crackle and the sub just cant take to much power. youll be happy with what you have if you purchase a sub to go along with it

Will blow you away...sound bigger than they are. Powerful bass response, smooth midrange and perfectly pitched high notes from the tweeters make this speaker an excellent choice as the main drivers for your home theater.

This speakers are great. They use a horn, meaning they get loud with low power. The bass is great and I have not heard any of the harshness some complain about.
