    Excellent Speakers

I never realized how much difference a set of quality speakers makes when watching a movie. I went from a Panasonic DVD 5.1 Home Theater system to a dedicated audio surround. I use a 500W Yamaha reciever to power these speakers, and they sound phenomenal. The highs are what really blow me away with these speakers. Subtle noises like rain drops suddenly jump out and envelop you. My old surround system, while infinitely better than the speakers on my TV, sound muffled compared to these. The first movie I turned on HBO when I hooked these up was Poseiden, and the water drops, which sounded like mere background noise on the old speakers, suddenly sounded like they were literally all around me. I bought the 12" Klipsch sub to go with the rest of my system, but had to wait a few days for it to get in. While these speakers aren't going to rattle your house off the foundation like that sub will, they provide more than enough bass response to keep you happy. You can definitely feel it in your chest when you turn them up. You won't get that earth shaking rumble in movies with them, but not everyone wants that anyway. For music, these will make you feel like you're at the concert. They're that loud. Distortion is non-existant, and I've cranked my reciever to 11 just to test them. No clipping even on heavy-bass songs. The speakers are much bigger than what I was used to, but are not obtrusive by any means. They are shallower than my TV stand, so they I can line them up flush with the front of my TV. Use quality speaker wire with them though. I originally had them hooked up to 22ga. wire, but went to 16ga. a couple days later and there was a noticable difference in the upper and lower frequencies.

    Best speakers I've owned!

Well if you're looking at this you obviously have some idea of what a good speaker is (i.e. NOT BOSE). They definitly take up some space, but are impressive to look at especially with the grills off. The highs can be a little overpowering, but are accurate and crisp. I have gotten used to the "Klipsch Sound." so they don't sound as bright as when I initially fired them up. The thing that I love about these is their ability to play as loud as you could possibly demand. I have never heard these distort, but my ears may have been impaired at the time. They sound great with any kind of music, however, low bass such as in rap, hip-hop is a little lacking at lower volume levels. I have mine paired with an M&K subwoofer, so the lows have become much more powerful. A subwoofer helps, but is not nessesary especially if you are purchasing these mainly for music. The bi-wire capable binding posts are a nice touch, but to be honest, you won't notice a difference. If you are thinking about buying these, do NOT hesitate. You will not be disapointed by these sound powerhouses. P.S. I got mine on Black Friday (Wink.)

i've owned a pair of Klipsch KG 4.5's for 11 years. it was time to "upgrade" as my speakers had 0,000's of hours on them. The speakers are powered by an old Onkyo 100 watt/ch receiver (also 11 years old and not designed for home theatre) and a 10 band/ch. graphic equalizer. the space the speakers are in contain: natural wood floors (with a one area rug), a wood ceiling (beams exposed) and plaster board walls. the room is VERY condusive to sound. i elected to purchase the F3's - which arrived today. after listening to them (at half volume) for the past hour all i can say is WOW! tthe bass is tight and deep - especially for this space. mid-range is clean and the highs are crisp. i detected no distortion at all. the hair did stand up on the back of neck and my ears are ringing.....LOL. the F3's are a fanastic value for the money.

These are by far some of the best speakers..

I got my 2 of these speakers. Along with the Klipsh 15" subwoofer and a Sony Control Center. I seriously cannot turn these past 50. And they will go up to 75 with no distortion unless it has TONS of bass. My girlfriend wanted to see how far the sound carried. So she turned them to 50 and I drove 3 blocks away. You could hear it... These are the most crisp, most hair raising speakers I have seen in a very long time. If you want some totally amazing speakers for music, movies, whatever. These are the ones. And if you really wanna feel your heart stop beating get the Klipsh 15" woofer. It rattles my whole house and it knocks things off the shelves. PS: It's good for waking the neighbors up. :-)

I bought one of these speakers at my local bestbuy last week. There was one left over because they ordered an odd number of them. So they told me to make them an offer on the speaker. I made an offer and they took it and I can not be any more happy with the price that I paid for the speaker and the performance of it. I am only running one of the klipsch F3 speakers and it gets the job done. I also have a klipsch sub10 and when that is running with the F3 it gives out a lot of bass. I am definitely pleased with the speaker, but have to buy another one to match it to complete my set up. I would recommend the speaker to anyone even for the normal price of it.

    Get a Theater Experience

Put two F-3's in your theater room and prepare to be amazed! For the money and the amount of sound you can get out of them, there is no better value. One great thing about the Klipsch is how they are made. Because they are a horn based speaker, they don't require near the power most speakers would to get to the same level....letting you spend more on center and rear speakers and less on your receiver. They can have a very clean outer look with the black grills on, or can become very aggressive with the front covers off. Whether it is classic rock or action movies, you will be blown away (and so will your neighbors) after hooking these speakers up.

Let me be the 20th reviewer to give this one the 5 stars ! It is great value for your money, but wait to get it on a sale (about $300/speaker). Not at full list price. It has to match the sub (if you plan to use one) and have a powerful receiver that can make the cones dance. Speaker wires are important - 14' or 16' only. Great asset to own (or start your home theater with). Great for music too, not just movies. You may not even need a Sub, surrounds or Center channel. Two of these may be enough for you to get rocked. With so many positive reviews, I guess you have nothing to lose if you gave them a try. It will be very much worth it ! Enjoy!!

this product is a sure buy, it looks and sounds almost perfect in every detail, goes great with almost any home theater system, easy to hook up and set up in any room you choose, you want to witness a thunderstorm or a concert hall well, this product matches the complete discription of them all into one., plus this product is easy to relocate when moving around in your listening room where ever you happen to sit and hear, very light weight at that. i (would) totally recomend these as a pair to anyone who wants the best of the best for their system, even for first timers. Most Incredible Speakers Ever

My old system used to consist of only satellite speakers and a sub woofer. I got a new Yamaha 663 receiver and naturally needed new speakers. It was possibly the best money ever spent. I will never get rid of these speakers. They are incredibly well built, the sound they produce is amazing, and they are so loud I haven't gone past half volume because I am scared my head might explode. I thought about going with the Synergy II but then I figured I would regret it my whole life for not going as big as I could. If you can afford them they are definitely worth the money!!!!!!!

These speakers are amazing. At first I didn't really want to pay that much money for some speakers but I had the money so I figured why not. I'm sooo happy that I bought these. The speakers a very loud and everything sounds super crisp, you hear things in music that you didn't notice before. I would recomend this and any other Klipsch speaker for anyone who wants to listen to loud music and have awesome surround sound.

I have been thinking about buying new speakers for a while. I have had my old ones since shortly after high school (20+ years). Speakers do not have to take up half the room to fill it with sound any longer. I am truly impressed with these. The sound is crisp and clean. I thought I would have to get a sub woofer to complete my set up but there is simply no need. I am completely satisfied with these.

    Great Speakers

These sound amazing and even though they are two-way vs. JBL's three-way design, they do not miss any part of the spectrum. The woofers and actually mid-woofers so the mids are clean. JBL puts the woofers in the speakers to call it three-way, but if you have a sub, this is not necessary. The patented horn design makes for seamless surround sound when paired with the S-3s and the C-3.

Wow, the speakers are just amazing. There is no loss of sound with this speakers. I can hear every sound as clear as day. Even when you raise the volume real high there is no distortion. The two Sub woofers are incredible, they really rock when you have them loud. Don't miss out on these speakers if you love to hear every sound and affect. You won't go wrong.

I purchased these speakers on sale at the advice of a friend. My friend owns these same speakers and he demoed them for me and I was blown away by their crisp and clear sound even at high volumes. After purchasing, playing music and movies with surround sound (especially action) is a whole new experience. The speakers sound wonderful.

PURCHASED THESE WITH A DENON RECEIVER AND THE KLIPSCH 10" SUB A YEAR AGO AND WOW..WHAT AN AMAZING SOUND....JUST LIKE THE BEST BUY SHOW ROOM. THIS IS DEFINITLY A GOOD INVESTMENT. NO NEED TO PURCHASE ANYTHING MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE F2s. BOSE SOUND GOOD BUT YOU WILL NOT GET THAT HEART THUMPIMG BASS THAT KLIPSCH CAN DELIVER.

great purchase. this is my second pair of Klipsch speakers and I plan on buying the a few more to fill out my home theater. Klpisch provides high end quality for a decent price. While there are better speakers out there. None of the speakers that are better will cost anywhere near as low as Klipsches.

This is a great speaker. Very good highs, mids and decent lows. It is a nice 2 channel speaker if thats all you want. If you want to do surround sound, you need the sub because there isn't enough bass there without one. Overall, a great speaker that is always loud enough and sounds crystal clear!

We got 2 of these klipsch speakers(F3) and I am completly blow away by the sound. We have 2 of these speakers in our media room and it is a pretty good size room, but these blow the roof off the house. These are the best front speakers you can get, good sound, loud, what more could you ask for?
