    First Digital Camera

This is my first digital camera and im hooked on it. I've been taking it with me everywhere I go. You never know when there might be a awesome picture that needs to be taken, or some crazyness that you can capture on video really quick. The pictures look pretty good, the the video is nice too, but it does get pixilated when you zoom in to much. Since it is my first camera there was about a hour and half learning curve. That's because i wanted to know this little baby inside and and out. The only thing i have to complain about is that my laptop doesn't read SDHC cards( and its a gaming rig too, go fig) so i have to use just SD, and i guess some of the indoor low light pics. But on the little wheel on the back you can adjust the light to -2.0 normal light to +2.0. It's really easy. The picture i put up is at the 7.6mp [16:9] setting. since there is a 2mb cap on the pics you can upload here i couldn't use the full 10.2mp. Oh, and one of the many options it has is long time exposure (up to 4 secs), I cant wait to try it out at night looking at the freeway. Sorry one last thing, i have vista 64bit, and the software it comes with crashed my ability to get on the internet, uninstalling it didn't help, so I had to reformat my hard drive. Just a warning.

    Disappointing

I bought this camera and after viewing the pictures was somewhat disappointed with the quality. I took pictures with both this camera and my old 6.2 meg (Kodak C613) and compared them side by side - my old camera outperformed this M1073. Dont' get me wrong - This camera does takes great pictures, but after comparing it to an OLDER camera I already had, I decided to send this one back. It's a cute camera, very light and small but if you're more interested in picture quality than cosmetic quality go with another model (I'd say try one of the C models). My family has always used Kodak cameras but this one was just disappointing. A newer camera w/ more megapixels doesn't always produce a better camera. I've uploaded 2 pics - the darker one was with this (M1073) camera and the lighter one was with my old camera.

    Great Little Camera

I upgraded to this camera from a Kodak EasyShare 6.1 m.p. camera that I was also extremely pleased with. Kodak is a great company, and I am very pleased with the way the pictures are coming out. This camera is great for someone who just wants a hassle-free digital camera for everyday use. It's small and delicate, so definitely buy a nice padded case for it. Like I mentioned before, it takes great pictures. The camera shake feature is nice in that it reduces the effects of having a shaky hand or if you're trying to get a quick shot of something. My other Kodak didn't have this feature, so this is a nice addition.

    Really Nice Camera

Very Good Camera, It can zoom at exceptional levels, the color is amazing and it captures pictures very fast and has an auto focus so you never get a bad dazed picture. The only thing that needs improvement is the brightness, it could be a little brighter in the video and the flash could be just a little better but overall its a great camera one of the best i'v seen in a while. It is so easy to use a five year old could do it, the screen is right down to the point and there are no confusing symbols.

I tried all the different settings but could not get a decent picture. All indoor pictures come out grainy and dark. I have a 6 year old Sony camera that is about three times the size and less than half the pixels but takes a great pic. I don't know how Kodak can make such a poor camera considering where the level of technology is today.
