    Flawed, Frustrating, poorly documented, agonizing

Stay away from this product. Try as I might, I was never able to get the WiFi feature to do anything useful, and that was the only thing that justified the expense of this product. Also, the online documentation did not match the capabilities of the product. A printed manual was never included, and for the price of the product, I'd expect one. In particular, the documentation indicates that when a memory card is installed and the picture frame is attached to the computer, three "disks" should appear, one for the internal memory, one for the memory card, and one for the settings. Only the first two appeared for me. I was able to get the network layer of the WiFi product working (I was able to "ping" the device from my Macintosh), and it was able to get a DHCP license from my server, but it always reported "My network computer is not shown". I did upgrade the firmware to 2007.7.06Worldwide . All that got me was frustration re-configuring the device and loosing the demo pictures.

    Kodak EasyShare Picture Frame

From the moment I viewed the first downloaded pictures on the Kodak EasyShare I was amazed at the clarity of the pictures and non-pixelation. The only reason I do not rate this frame higher is for four reasons. 1 - It was difficult determining the proper format for video (nothing in instructions), but once determined has worked great. 2- I have had some problems with the frame recognizing a media card on occasion. I don't want to turn-off-turn-on to get it to recognize the card. 3 - If you don't need the software that comes with the frame...trash it. I was totally unimpressed with the Kodak EasyShare software. 4 - Kodak could have put better speakers in the frame if they wanted too. They really fell short on that one! Other than that I think most people would be happy with the frame!

I feel like I've just thrown $250 out the window

I can't recall having ever been more disappointed in a product. I laid out $250 for the wireless version and regret doing so. It's nearly impossible to insert a memory card because there isn't any room in the CF card slot, which pinches the card from all sides as you insert it. The user's manual does not contain a single page about how the cards should be oriented. There are only 2 possibilities, so you've got a 50/50 shot. Get it wrong, and you have permanently damaged the small gold pins that should line up with the female side of the memory card.

I bought this frame as a gift for my wife. She loves it! Contrary to some of the other reviews, I did not have any problems connecting to my wireless network. It took less than one minute. All you need to do is enter your security key and you are connected. The Kodak Easy Share on-line photo gallery is also a great feature. You can view your friend's and family's photos via the Kodak on-line gallery. The picture quality is also very good. I would definitely recommend this digital photo frame.

    Worst Experience Ever

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!! For the amount of money you will spend you expect something easy in use with basic funtions working properly. I could not connect to wireless network (looks like others had the same problem) and all I wanted to do is save pictures on internal memory and display those. I was not able to rotate pictures and save the rotation. Pictures would rotate back on their own. What a horrible product from Kodak. This frame is going back to the store tomorrow.

    Good and bad...

This product has lots of nice features - ease of operation, multiple card input formats, integral sound/music player, and nice resolution. However, the one feature that drove me to purchase this unit was the Wi-Fi option, and that didn't work at all. I tried to get my wireless network to connect to the frame from several different computers, with disappointing results each time. Caveat emptor!!

Bought one of these along with a Westinghouse of the same size. Images are crisp and colors are bright. Connected easily and XP detected the frame memory and card slots instantly. Simply copied pictures from My Pictures folder to the frame memory and pressed play on the remote. The only thing I would suggest is being able to view the images on the frame while it is connected to the computer.

Overall, I liked this product. It has a very nice display quality and support various memory card options. I was impressed with its WiFi capability to transfer pics and videos (yes, plays .avi files too). But, I think I have overpaid for this product. This is the first digiatal frame that I bought, so, I really do not know how the others compare.

This was a christmas present for my dad, who is hard to please, but was very happy with this gift. I shopped around and found that the kodak was the best purchase for the price and level of quality. Compared to others, this had the best user menu, and i like the option of swapping out the frame styles (seperate purchase)

    Nice Frame

The frame works well for showing pictures. I would not buy it just for the wi-fi option. It will connect to your network but after a few pictures it reboots itself. If you load the pictures directly to the 128mb internal memory, everything works great! The clarity of the pictures are great.
