    Great for the price

This really is a great camera. I've used digital cameras for well over 5 years and this one proves it's worth the money. The zoom is amazing and the picture quality is superb. The internal memory holds a surprising amount of photos, so if you forget your expansion card you're not out of luck. The main drawbacks I've run into are that if you're shooting in a dim location, it can be very blurry, even from only 25 feet away. Also, it can be difficult to learn to navigate through the numerous features, but if you play with it before you actually need to use them, you'll be able to figure it out. I wish it had a viewfinder because in dim lighting it can be difficult to see exactly where you are shooting before the flash goes off. It might be a little bulkier than most of the newer cameras, but for the features I think it is more than worth it, and it can still easily fit in the pocket of your jeans. Kodak produces many items of high quality at reasonable prices, and this one definitely shows that. I love this camera and would definitely recommend it to anyone I know in the market.

I have to say that I was skeptical at the beginning about this camera because of its price. How come a very high resolution camera can cost under $ 300?. But as soon as I put my hands on it I changed my mind quickly. First of all, the massive 12 megapixels lets you take crystal clear pictures and even if you zoom in to the limit, you still get exceptional results. In addition to the incredible resolution for the pictures, you get High Definition quality videos; you can shoot your videos with a better resolution than many camcorders. The camera has a lot of good features like: several scene modes to select from, which makes things easier and faster. Also, although this camera is not the smallest one on the market, it is definitively a good size to carry around. Overall, I am so pleased and happy with the Kodak z1275 that I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for the best deal in terms of cost-benefit.

    Great Pictures, Simple Camera

I bought the camera because it was a Easy Share, my daughters have a Easy Share with fewer features and they were very pleased with the simplicity of operation. I was pleased with the quality (and simplicity!) I wanted a camera with more features and this fit the bill. Much more zoom and many more features. This will allow you to take pictures in all kinds of lighting situations with a touch of a button. If you don't want to be bothered with that you can set it to auto mode where the camera will pick the right setting automatically. All with just the turn of the dial. This really is a simple camera. The picture quality is amazing, professional looking. I am now able to take my passion off hold and have created an in home studio. I am having alot of fun and am even planning to do my daughters graduation photos this year.

    Amazing Quality for the Cost

I worked in broadcasting for over 36+ years and this camera is a great buy for the price, even though it is not professional quality. I can print photos on plain paper with acceptable results/photo paper quality of prints from this camera is exceptionally good. I recorded video/audio of my daughter in a live play on a 4 GB SD card and transferred it to my laptop and cabled it to my TV to watch, too. Only drawback is low audio with not much control. I also recommend a small camera bag with lots of batteries as they discharge fast. The 4 GB SD card can hold so much video and photos it is great! You need to use a card reader to transfer to PC-SD cannot be read by inserting into PC. Easy for novices and optional manual setups for advanced users. Have taken photos in backyard in complete darkness and w/flash get outstanding pics! Kodak accessory tripod very good for the price, too, except the quick disconnect adapter does not fit exactly on camera/needs to be modified. Very happy with choice and best price(very cheap) via online store I found doing lots of research.

    Small Camera - BIG impact!

I am a car wrap designer and needed a good camera for a cheap price. The pictures come out in Photoshop at 8"x6" at 480dpi! I only need 100dpi, so I'm able to enlarge the picture quite a bit before it starts to pixelate, which is great when you need to enlarge a picture to 30ft wide. Kodak has always been good to me, but I am very impressed with this little gem. There's no viewfinder, but I haven't really used that since the invention of the LCD screen, so I see other manufacturer's following this lead. I had seen a review that the power button and the picture capture button were too close, but I have yet to have an issue. You can feel the difference and to me, it was very obvious if my finger was too far over. The in-camera options are amazing. You really don't need Photoshop to edit them, but of course, I'm spoiled :)

    Not 12 MP

What the heck this camera takes a decent pic in good outdoor light (not great for in door) but you transfer the pics to the computer and they store at 1-3 MB, which is vastly under the expected 5-6MB. The video is awsome but you have to be a geek to figure out how to convert it out of quicktime or it WILL BE CHOPPY (no matter how fast or how much memory your computer has). I'm not exactly impressed. I had a long talk with Kodak and they agree that it is not fair to represent it at 12 MP when it is what I would refer it as interpolated (a bad word - meaning they just multiply the existing picture) or as they do ring pixels. Oh well I bought it and there it is. If you haven't please don't, just pop for a nice 7 or 8 untill the technology catches up and they are made better.

The Kodak Easyshare Z1275 is an amazing user-friendly camera. The photo quality is amazing because of its 5x optical zoom and its 12MP. The video quality is great too, and even in a semi-dark setting, the camera adds light and makes a great quality video. The best thing about this camera it comes with Kodak Easyshare software which one of the best editing softwares ever! You can crop photos, take out red-eye, enhance the photo, change the colors of the photos (as in black and white, sepia, etc,), and change the whole the photo (spotlight, coloringbook, etc.). Overall, it is a great camera for its low price!!

Outstanding HD Pictures, Outstanding HD video

Great quality, Great pictures, Great HD video, Great price. 4.5 stars! Highly recommended!! The quality and detail of the 12MP pictures was stunning. The HD video was also outstanding (using a high speed SanDisk Ultra II SD card). Most of the 30 frames per second of HD video were good enough quality to print reasonable 4 by 6 photos. The focus is perfect almost every time, and a heads up display highlights the subject. The camera uses AA batteries, rechargeables last a few hours.

This is a great point and shoot camera. It is easy to use for a busy mom of 3. I really like it. It takes great photos. I have not used any of the advanced features. I have only used the "automatic" mode. It has a good zoom. I recommend it for any one who wants a nice quality, easy to use camera.
