    Very pleased with this camera!

I had been using an eight year old Kodak digital camera (DC280 2.0 megapixel) and felt it was time to upgrade!....I narrowed my choices down to the Olympus FE-340, the Canon SD1100-IS, and this one....I actually purchased the Olympus for the extra Optical Zoom that it has but was so disappointed in that camera's picture quality that I returned it and purchased this one....I would still like to see what the pictures look like on the Canon but the screen on that one is considerably smaller and I just don't care for the way the controls are situated....this camera is very easy to use, my old camera still takes sharper pictures I believe but this one produces great pictures for the most part, 99% of my usage is for online so I can't really utilize all of the megapixels, but a huge plus in my opinion is that the battery charges right off your computer's USB port as well as coming with an AC charger, and I love this particular purple color!

I got this camera as a gift. I had never had a kodak camera before so didn't really know what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised to find it very easy to use. The biggest plus for me was that it was very easy to download my pictures using the kodak easyshare software, and with kodak easyshare you can send pics through email and they are saved on the web. Which means no matter what happens to your camera or computer you will always be able to get to those pictures. For someone that not great with computers and uploading things this is great.

    Easiest Camera Ever to Use

I have purchased 4 of these cameras, either for myself or family members simply because they are easy to operate and to understand. The picture quality is outstanding. I have had people come over and ask me who was the studio who took my pictures of my children and I tell them that I took them with my Kodak Easyshare and they are surprised by the crisp, clear picture that it takes. I also love the fact that it's very easy to operate, which helps my older parents who I have purchased one for.

    Pretty Good Camera

I've used Kodak cameras before, and they've all had pretty good picture quality. However, this camera's picture quality wasn't quite as good as the other models I've used, even though they were older models. Also, when I have the flash turned off, the pictures oftentimes come out blurry, even if the environment is bright and I'm holding the camera still. On the other hand, it has great features, it's small and light, and when it does take a good picture, it takes a really good picture.

I fell in love with this camera from the moment I opened it. The picture quality is excellent, the screen is perfect sized and the options are countless. I did have some trouble with the lens sticking in the open/on position while it was off, but it fixed itself when it was turned on and off again. Overall it is an amazing camera that I would recommend to all.

This camera is the best that I have ever purchased. None of the pictures come out blurry, the flash is easy to operate, and the on screen features are very fast and easy to select to maximize your type of shot! The upload into the computer is completely painless, and I have had more fun with family and friends being able to capture our moments on camera with no red eyes. Even my nature-scapes are crisp and vibrant!

I just purchased this camera after reading all of the positive reviews. The camera does not turn on and does not respond to the wall charger or the computer charger. This camera is junk. I had an event to attend so, I timed it perfectly to arrive at my house on time for the event, and now I have to return it and will miss taking photos. This camera is a piece of junk.. please do not waste your money!

I AM GLAD I BROUGHT THIS CAMERA, I TAKE ALOT OF PICTURES SO ALL THE ADJUSTMENTS COME IN VERY HANDY. ONE LITTLE DOWN FALL, YOU CAN'T TAKE A REAL CLOSE UP PICTURE LESS THEN 3 FEET AWAY. BUT THAT IS OKAY FOR THE PRICE I PAID FOR THIS CAMERA. KODAK IS A TRUSTED NAME AND I STICK WITH TRUSTED NAMES! THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS VERY HELDFUL. FITS PERFECTLY IN MY POCKET TOO.

I love this camera. Its perfect for all types of picture taking. I have two young children that don't stand still and in the "children" mode of this camera, my picutres turn out great. I love all the "modes" this camera has to offer.... fireworks, candle light, dark/dim light, close up, etc and the video camera is great as well. Great camera for the price and for everyday picture taking!!!

I upgraded from a 2.0 megapixel camera, so you can imagine the difference I am seeing with this 8.1! When you change modes, it tells you exactly what you are about to do, so there is no need to decipher what the little symbol actually means. The ONLY one that makes sense is the VIDEO (It's shaped like a reel-to-reel hollywood-type video camera).

The pictures I could take were very good. However, taking photos at an airshow was impossible as I couldn't see the view screen. Even when I turned the contrast up to max (as opposd to "power save"), I missed most photos because I couldn't see the subject. (The photos I wanted were at AirVenture 2008 in Oshkosh, July 2008.

I received this camera last Christmas. Upgraded from a 5.0 MP Kodak. I love it. I recently used the camera on my trip to California Adventure with my mom and was able to use the different modes available. Awesome pics! Love the fact that it's a different color other than silver.

While this particular camera is not the best in the field of KODAK, it is worth the compartively small price that you are paying for good detail. Even if one is looking for a camera that will capture excellent scenery or professional photographs, this camera has the potential to surprise one.

I bought this so I would have a quick simple camera to use for selling items on ebay. I can take pictures transfer them to the computer and have them edited in no time. Plus the pictures are really great quality even when I have to take them really close. I like it.

I brought the camera and had it for a year now. It's really a good camera and it doesn't give any problems. The pictures are really nice and the video comes out clear. Plus you can hear everything well too. It's a good purchase and you won't regret it :)

Bought this camera in August and have been impressed. It takes great pictures and is easy to use. Transfers to my laptop quickly and easily. The only difficulty I have is moving the pictures from Easy Share software to My Pictures files.
