    Easy! Great Gift.

I "won" this item at holiday party and just got it up and running in about 30 minutes. This frame was so easy to program and set up, I didn't even look at the directions. I just used my Picasa software, exported a bunch of photos to a thumb drive and plugged it in. I has some nice zoom and pan slideshow effects that are not cheesy. The contrast and black level is very surprising for being an lcd screen. This was a great gift to receive and I think I'm going to buy another and pre-load it for the grandparents. The touch screen frame is pretty neat and completely hidden when not being used. The only two things I'd ding it on is that the viewing angle (top/down) is somewhat limited (Side-to-side viewing angle is good). And the touch screen could be a little more intuitive but, hey, I didn't even read the directions or load the software on my computer. This is a neat product.

It's a very good display for the price. The box indicates that there is a USB cable included but after opening the box there wasn't one. Best Buy said that all of the units they received did not include the cable. Best Buy was kind of enough to provide one - that's great customer service. The Easyshare software included was for windows and I'm running Mac OS X, so had to down load the software from the Kodak's web site. I've found the iPhoto software is easier to use. The instructional book leaves much to be desired. I've had to play with it in order to understand he menu commands.
