Confusing menus, difficult to operate controls

I bought this picture frame with the intent of giving it to my mother as a gift. I new she would like being able to change the frames over time and the ability to load lots of pictures to view and share. The size of the viewing area looked great and the overall look of the frame is great. My gripe with the frame is that the menus for setting things up were very hard to navigate and confusing to use. The buttons along the frames right side are the motion sensor type and they were very very touchy. Some times I would have to touch a button 4 or 5 times before it would register a command. Other times it would jump through multiple commands after touching it just once. On several occasions it just seemed to randomly jump to a completely different screen or back to an earlier screen I had been to. LIke I said the menus were difficult enough to figure out and navigate without all the jumpiness and touchiness of the buttons. There is a USB port that I was unable to use with my computer to transfer pictures. The frame would immediately start playing my pictures when the SD card was inserted, however, it simultaneously displayed a calender on half the screen while showing pictures on the other half. I attempted to change the settings to hide the calender but once again the jumpiness of the buttons quickly frustrated me and I eventually just boxed up the whole thing and took it back to the store. My mom is 71 and uses a computer regularly but this would end up in a drawer as I'm sure she wouldnt be able to use it.

    Best Photo frame for Money

My husband and I went looking for a digital photo frame for my father's Christmas gift and it was quite an undertaking. We purchased three frames, prior to purchasing this Kodak; they did not work as claimed, and we found this specific brand and model provided the best features for the money. Although a remote may have been nice, we did not find a frame with a remote that worked this well and provided such a nice picture. Although the touch frame feature on this Kodak model worked well, please beware...not all of the Kodak frames worked this well. In fact, we bought another model at another store and it was more difficult to use so we had to return it too. On the other hand, this frame's controls were very easy to use and It was simple to view our pictures - we used a pin drive and the pictures were available to view immediately. Although I have not tried every frame on the market, after buying three that I believe were not worth the money, this frame was on the top of our list. I would recommend it to anyone.

I purchased this as a gift for my mom for Mother's Day and I wanted to put some pictures on the internal memory so that she would have pictures on it when she opened it. First of all there was no instruction book on how to even do this and it took forever to go through the menus to figure it out. I ended up only putting 11 pictures on the internal memory because I had to do each one individually. I suggest to not even do this and use the memory stick or your SD card instead. Other than that and not having an instruction book, I liked the frame.

I bought this digital frame as a gift for my elderly parents. The idea that you could change out the frame to match your decor was nice but the frame that comes with it was perfect. The amount of pictures you could load was great and they ended up sitting and watching it for hours. I would highly recommend this to anyone and wouldn't mind getting another one for my own home.

Overall Good Buy! The frame that comes with the display is the nicest that I have seen so far. Also you have the option to put any other frame that you buy in the store on it, giving you 1000's of options and the real seller for my wife.
