Great gift. Images clear. Some limitations

I agree with Mickey's assessments. The controls are clunky and a bit hard to use. Also they are in the back. A senior might have some difficulty. If I buy another it will have a touch screen. Also there is no "on/off" switch. I don't know if other models do. But because of this, you have to plug or unplug it - something senior are less likely to do. Hanging was easy, but then you have that cord dangling down the wall. Too bad there is no battery power. I'm glad I didn't go with a smaller frame because if you want to place it on a wall, a smaller frame would only be viewed by someone standing right in front of it. With the 10 in., you can sit on the sofa or place it one coffee table where multiple people can view it. But with the control in the back of the frame, you have to take it off the wall to make any adjustments to the speed, etc.

I have had this digital frame for about a month (my first). It was easy to set up and it works fine. It looks great both in image quality and as a traditional looking picture frame. I like the picture size and the aspect ratio (close to that of native format). I don't understand one reviewer's comment about it lacking an on/off switch. Mine has a switch in the back. It is true that with controls in the back and with no remote control, it is a little awkward to operate. I would recommend it to friends but would not get it for my 90-year old mother.

Good looking picture. Control buttons on back hard to use. Instruction manual doesn't give enough information. Instruction manual says a usb port is used to down pictures to frame. Actually a USB flash drive must be used. No usb port on frame. I AM SURE THERE ARE BETTER PHOTO FRAMES FOR SALE. i AM SORRY i DIDN'T LOOK AROUND.
