    Great wireless printer

    Posted .

Got the printer home and set it up for the wireless network. Instructions are a bit confusing, but once I got beyond that I did not have any problems. Another problem I did encounter however, is that I have not spent the time to find the driver to use it with my tablet and printer share. Otherwise I love the printer and the price!

    Great printer

I have discovered I really love this printer! Everything is exactly what I need, price was good, ink doesn't go quite as far as advertised but does last a lot longer than any other printer I have had. Only problem is it throws a lot of errors, paper out when the tray is full...things like that. the frequency of the errors is annoying.

    don't purchase

    Posted .

I bought this kodak printer because the price was reasonable and the ink toner is inexpensive. Ive had the printer for 5 weeks and it broke! The first couple of weeks it worked fine then began getting paper jams continuously. And just today the printer actually BROKE! As I opened it to fix the paper jam the top portion of the scanner completely came off. I would definitely not recommend this product.

    Great printer for the price.

I purchased this while it was on sale at 50% off. Does the job and the wireless is super easy to setup. I like the straight through paper path and the quality of the print output. Happy with my purchase.

    WORST printer EVER!!!

    Posted .

This printer does not deserve any stars. I had a Canon printer and I felt the ink was too expensive. Based on Kodak's advertising of lowest cost ink, I bought this one. I print OCCASIONALLY, and after using this for about 5 months, it stopped printing in color. I replaced the ink cartridge, and after printing a few test pages to calibrate it, it still didn't work. I had to contact Kodak customer support, and was informed it needed a new printhead, which they were kind enough to send for free (SARCASM). Installed new printhead, still doesn't work. I'm out of luck on the money I wasted on this printer, PLUS the ink which is pretty pricey to just waste. Do yourself a favor, and buy something that's not a piece of junk. I'll be throwing this in the trash. This is the worst printer I've ever owned.

    On 2nd replacement

    Posted .

After researching indepth, i decided to give Kodak a try. I purchased it in October 2011 and am now on my 2nd replacement due to equipment malfunction. The first time for print head. Now for mysterious paper jam. Bummer because i really like the printer, It gives great quality documents and photos. The ink is reasonable for the use. And easy Wi-Fi connection. WHat i have learned is that the customer service is fantastic. Replacements received within one day and they send extra ink with the replacement. Just wish i didn't have to become close friends with them.

    Don't buy Kodak

    Posted .

If you run out of color and then just want to print black and white until you replace the color then good luck. The printer will FORCE you to buy ink. Also with other brands i would run the ink out all the way, With kodak if its low you must replace before you can use the printer again. It will NOT let you print. So i think thats bs since the ink is probually down to 1/4..I would like to use that 1/4!!! Thank god this was a black friday deal..I will be getting another one come black friday again and it will not be Kodak!! I rather spend $200 on another brand thats how much this one sucks.

Easy to set up on Wi-Fi. Is a bit louder and slower but still an awesome value for the price paid

    The Kodac printer works fine.

    Posted .

When a Kodak printer I had bought from Best Buy tore up, thankfully I bought the Black Tie protection when the printer was bought. When the printer I took back was no longer available, another of better quality was sent to the Best Buy store for me to pick up. I picked up the Kodak ESPOffice 2170 and have had no problem with it, and consider it be a very good printer, along with the fact that the ink does not cost as much as ink for other brands of printers.

    Poor quality

I would not reccommend this printer. You get what you pay for. Yes the ink is cheap but you will have to use so much of it, you might as well had invested in a better product. It would be the same difference. I wish I could get my money back.

Does Not Directly Support iPad Printing

    Posted .

I purchase the printer as a Christmas gift for my family, because we have iPads and want to print from them. Kodak stated it was compatible with the Mac and iPad. After several hours of work and calling Kodak tech support we found a work around, which I do not like. You have install some software from Kodak that when set up creates an internet address for the printer that you have to email things you want to print to this email address. This is no solution.

    Perfect replacement product

    Posted .

I purchased this all-in-one after my Epson printer began leaving random black lines across copies. This Kodak was to be a short-term replacement until I could find another Epson. Luckily, I found it on sale at BestBuy for about $64. $64 !!! I'm so satisfied with it that I will not even consider replacing it with an Epson or any other brand. The scans are excellent, the copies are indistinguishable from the original, the inks are very inexpensive. I could not be happier with the all-in-one printer itself or with the price and delivery speed from Best Buy. My only minor gripe is that it took a long time to install, but after that was done, I could not be happier with it.

Beware: Won't print without black and color ink!!!

    Posted .

Bought it, set it up, thought I loved it. Paper jams with multiple sheets printed at once and worse...it won't print in only black and it seizes up if it does not have both color and black ink cartridges with what it considers is a reasonable/usable amount of ink left in them. Terrible design flaw and Kodak knows it and hasn't changed it yet. I did some research and many customers have had the same issue with this and other printers for years and Kodak just doesn't care. Stay away!!!

    Had to return this product

I had to return this printer in exchange for a different printer. My first attempt to use it, I was unable to print any documents without getting paper jam. Troubleshooting did nothing. Exchanged for an HP printer instead, and that works great!

    good quality all-in-one but..no I-phone printing!!

    Posted .

I was a little upset when I got this printer and it does not support AIR Print from I-Phone. It can only print photos from another app that you must download to phone. A- bit misleading when it said I-phone/Blackberry compatible.

    Great printer, excellent value

    Posted .

This printer can do it all for a great price. I picked this up around Thanksgiving on sale for only $65. Use it for printing documents and photos, as well as scanning and copying. Haven't tried the fax feature, but I don't need really need it. Very easy set up on my Mac. The extremely low replacement ink prices are what drew me to this printer, and I'm very satifised with it so far.

    Do not buy this printer!!

    Posted .

This printer is loud; it sounds like it is very cheap and falling apart. The document feeder jams constantly. The "cloud" printing vanishes and you have to reboot or plug in the usb cord. THE MOST ANNOYING THING IS IT SAYS THE INK IS GONE AND WILL NOT PRINT UNTIL YOU PUT A NEW CARTRIDGE IN!! You do not go from printing fine to empty in one page. And I can't get the fax to work.

    Disappointed

    Posted .

I was at first very exicted when I bought my first kodak printer. It worked and printed wonderful pictures for a while but then it quit feeding the paper. I went through all the updates with the customer service rep. from Kodak and nothing worked so he had me sent a, what is probably a reburbished one, printer. Once I got that one it printed a few time but then stop. It said it was low on ink and then out so I replaced that thinking that would fix it. But now it's back to not feeding the paper. It starts but then stops. I've spent hours downloading software thinking that would fix it but I'm smart enough to know that it's probably not a software but a part defect. The customer rep who had this one sent probably knew, as does everyone in the company that it's a part defect, that causes it not completely finish feeding the paper through which is why they agreed so quickly to send me a replacement. Needless to say I'm very upset by purchase and how it has performed in the long run. As an artist and a public school art teacher in Georgia I need a printer that prints as clearly and beautifully, as this printer did, but is also reliable, something this printer as failed to be. Also what makes this even worse is that the problems with the first didn't begin to long after I could get a refund from the store I bought it from and now replacement of this one is left up to Kodak and it will only be replaced with another printer with the same problem that the tech guys thought they fixed. I will not recommend a Kodak AiO to anyone and will not buy another Kodak printer. So it's back to Hp and there shotty pictures, expensive ink, but at least it will always print documents that I need printed.
