    Its ok

    Posted .

It will be a year in January since I got my printer. I am satisfied with it but looking for a new one just b/c I want one that is wireless. Lets see after about 6 months my printer became loud and shakes when I print up pictures and sometimes likes to suck in all the paper. I tried to connect my camera to it by usb cord and using picbridge but it will not let me go through the pictures on my camera or print any that way. My grandma just bought a kodak printer about 2 months ago and something is wrong with it. It will not print the red color ink it will print all the other colors but that one so her pictures have a green tint and to everyone that is going to say its b/c I didn't lock in the ink cartidage they are wrong I installed it correctly. I also like the printers that use up all the ink kodak does not once it runs out of one color you are just out of luck but it does last a while I just printed about 30 pictures and still have ink left.

    Hands Down Worst Printer!!!!

    Posted .

This printer has been horrible from the day i bought it. I love Kodak and have always bought kodak products from printers to cameras but this printer is full of problems. 1)Print Head/Ink - From the first day i pulled it out of the box it would say either print head missing or ink cartridge not installed correctly. I finally called kodak and they said it was a defective print head so they sent me another one. It worked for a bit but gradually the problems started coming back. 2)Ink Life - The price of ink is the best on the market but that doesn't make it cost worthy when this printer swallows this ink. I don't print a lot of pictures and rarely print documents but i would say every 15 documents the black ink is almost drained. I dont know if its really drained or because of the print head but you have to install a new one to print something again. 3) Picture Prints - I like to print pictures of my daughter once in a while to keep my pictures up to date but i noticed this printer prints pictures with horrible quality. The reds look almost pinkish and some pictures even looked grainy. Conclusion - For the price your better off getting any other printer but this one. Kodak dropped the ball big time on this printer line. I will be visiting Best Buy soon to pick up a replacement.

Saves on ink, but not good quality

    Posted .

I bought this all-in-one in Dec 2010 and it is now March 2011 and the machine has broken down from very light use. I called Kodak customer service and they shipped me a new model, but I'm going to sell it online. I need something that lasts, not something I have to get fixed every three months. Also you can't create multiple page scans, which is really inconvenient and impractical. So yes, the printing quality is good and the ink costs less, but the tradeoff is it's not well made and you end up swapping the money saved for time spent on the phone with Kodak customer service. I'm going back to Epson.

    Worthless

    Posted .

I have spent more time trying to get this printer to work than I have actually printing anything.I have had this printer for two years and since then I have used three sets of ink cartridges, while only using half a pack of paper. Their selling point is the price of their ink but in reality the cartridges are only half full. This printer will also not print anything if either cartridge is empty. If the color is empty it won't even print a black and white document. The printer looks nice, is a good price and prints well if you can get it to work. I will never but another one and I'm going tomorrow to get a different brand.

    great printer

This printer was very easy to install. it prints very good pages. it scans very good and it prints photos very good . color is perfect. many people say that the print head breaks and the printer jams paper and feeds multiple sheets. the print head breaks because they do not put it in until it snaps shut and locks so the carriage hit's it and breaks the print head. same cause for jaming paper.. another complaint is smuged printing . this is problably due to them not following instruction for inserting ink cartridge and being certain it locks in place. This printer works great and I'm looking forward to saving on ink. this printer is hooked to a vista desktop and networked to a windows 7 desktop and works perfect on both.

    Kodak AiO Printer

If you are just going to print black-and-white papers, this is a good printer. Low priced ink and prints at a moderate speed. HOWEVER, if you want to print color prints or photos, this printer quickly drops in preferability. The color prints come out oddly colored, and no matter what maintenance or troubleshooting you try, no good comes of it. If you plan on doing color, avoid this printer.

Some good stuff, some bad stuff :(

This cost is extremely good; if you want high-quality text, but not a huge price, buy it. The printer is good for printing text -- high-quality and fast printing make it great. The cons: The grip is slippery and the printer can easily be dropped and the weight only adds to this. The fact that you need both cartridges in at once is unfair. The printer is a bit loud, but the noise is short-lived. The short power cable is annoying. Not having a USB cable included with the printer is ridiculous -- this goes for all brands.

Had nothing but trouble since purchase

    Posted .

I purchased this printer because of the low cost on ink. I have had to reinstall it 3 times because it tries to upgrade and it deletes the printer from pc but then does not complete the upgrade. I have emailed customer support twice and have not seen a response yet. I am very disillusioned by this printer. In the 2 months that I have had it I was able to use it only about 3 times.

This is not a work horse type of printer. After 5 months the printer head came out of alignment and had to be replaced. Things such as latches started to come loose......would be OK printer as a spare orfor occasional use

    Great Printer

The Kodak is a good printer. It prints very clearly. My problem is that is prints a little too slow, there is no fax and there is no direct feed where one can place multiple pages to be copied. We have to place on page at a time which can be slow and tedious. The price is good. Product is still new so waiting to see how it will be ink wise.

    Practical Purchase

    Posted .

I did not set up the printer, but the person who set it up stated that it was an easy set up. I have used the printer, copy, and scan document features. Am pleased with these features. I have not scanned pictures, nor have I copied pictures, so I can’t rate those features. I am happy with my purchase thus far. This printer fits not only my budget, but this printer fits my needs.

This printer has done miracles for me. It's amazing and fast and does everything I need it to do plus more. It works great with Windows 7 and set-up was flawless. The ink isn't that much either which is great. Go get it!

Printer is fast and high quality. The price was very good and the ink is very inexpensive. My ink cost is about 85% less then the ink cost for my HP

    All-around good and easy

This product has served me well, it had an easy install and is very cost friendly. I feel like I get more printed for less and it has good quality. I have only used it for printing business stuff only. I don NOT use this printer for pictures, we use a totally different system for that. All in all very affordable and does exactly what I want it to do.

    Uses way too much ink

    Posted .

I print documents, no pictures. In one ream of paper (500 sheets single sided) I use 6 (six) black ink cartridges and 1 color. I followed all of Kodak’s tech support suggestions. No change in the amount of ink used. Kodak support did not seem to care. The lower cost of ink does not make up for the EXTREME amount of cartridges you will buy. After 1 year and a LANDFILL FULL of used cartridges I am throwing it out. Kodak is making a very, very poor product. Kodak should be ashamed of themselves. I would not wish this printer on my worst enemy.

    avoid at all costs

    Posted .

I bought this printer due to Kodak being associated with quality and the ink being cheap. I was way off. I used the printer for only one day and due to beign so disgusted with it, went back to using my old printer. The thing takes forver to print one page firstly. The quality on photo paper was brutal. And it was even Kodak photo paper. I had all the settings correct and finally had enough and put it back in the box and sold it to a friend for half of what I paid since he doesn't print photos. Avoid this printer at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
