Bought this printer on 4/29/11 to replace my 2 yr old HP 309C that I paid over $200 for. It was supposed to be awesome. Finally after lots of $$ spent on ink and it finally showed paper jam and there was nothing jammed, we decided to look at Kodak because of their reputation of low cost ink. After researching reviews we decided on this one. Didn’t have the fax in it, so we’ll have to buy that separately, but it was a good price at $79.99. It was easy to set up with the help of a couple people’s reviews saying to not load the CD that came with it, ver 5.4, but to download the newest one on the web site, ver 6.2. It found my wifi unit with no problems. Followed the directions and hooked up 3 laptops wirelessly, an HP, a MAC and an old IBM and my desk top with USB, cord not included. All 4 had no issues printing to it. It didn’t print blue though, so I called the support hotline and after about 30 min of troubleshooting they said it was the print head and one would be shipped w/i 3 to 8 days. It came in about 5. I installed it with ease and now it’s good. It is noisy and a little slow for scanning, but so was my HP. We really do like it so far. I have not yet had to replace any ink and we have been using it a lot. Haven't printed any pitures yet, so I can't comment on that, but the other printing has been great.

Great quality, easy setup, flexible networking

I bought this printer to replace my old HP Officejet. Wow, what a difference. It's much smaller than the all-in-one beast it replaced, the quality is (as you might expect from Kodak) picture perfect, and the wifi networking really works. I really appreciate when a product actually works as advertised rather than getting it home and finding that the functionality is so limited as to be useless. This printer simply plugged in, found my network, and authenticated via WPA just like you would expect from a normal wifi device. Setup is pretty straightforward. The software tools that came with the printer are lightyears ahead of the old HP software (though this may speak more to the printer's age than difference in manufacturer). Like most printer software packages, there's some bloat but I actually prefer the full software install over the basics. There are some great apps to edit and print photos and more without having to run the full-on Easyshare software which I like but seriously bogs down my older computers. With already having a working printer I hesitated on buying this, but it was a great choice. No more printer sharing issues and ink should hopefully be much cheaper.

I purchased this printer recently and have been using it fairly regularly. The setup was easy and fast. If I didn't have to wait about 30 minutes to download the new version of the software, it would have been up and running in about 10 minutes. The wireless setup was painless; a much different story than my HP printer was. The print speed is an improvement over my HP (when using draft mode). The print quality is fine. I haven't really analyzed picture print quality yet. I am not quite sure how many pages I have printed. Probably 30 or 40 and I am still using the "starter" cartridges that came with it. The ability to print on both sides of the paper is easier than my previous HP was. The HP required me to respond to a window on the computer that requested the printing. This is a pain when the printer is connected wirelessly from another room. The Kodak allows you to flip the paper around and then just press the Start key on the printer to continue the printer on the back side of the paper. I was a little bummed out when I installed an upgrade to the software. The upgrade was a complete replacement and it was basically like reinstalling the printer. I lost my setup settings, etc. So, the upgrade process is not an improvement from the HP process which also was a complete software replacement basically. All in all, I am very happy with the printer and I will be really happy when I need to buy more ink and only have to spend around $30 or less for both B/W and Color ink cartridges instead of $60 for my HP. It is a fairly noisy printer but too much more than my HP was.

....so many good copies.....so little $money!!!!

I set up my Kodak printer the minute I got it home. It was so easy to do that even I, Queen of the Techno Dunces, could manage it. That was a good omen because using it has proven to be just as easy. I need to print quite a lot of photos for my work and the better the photo the better it shows our work. These prints are beautiful - bravo Kodak! But then who knows the business of pictures as well as they do. I had purchased the Kodak 5210 Wireless All in one because of several reviews I had read praising the ink economy of this machine. First of all the number of copies that I print in black & white or color far surpasses the quantity my former printer managed with the same amount of ink. Then to make all of this good news even better is the fact that the black ink cartridge is $9.99 and the color one is $19.99. That is close to $40.00 less than I used to have to pay!!! Am I happy with this Kodak printer..... you can't imagine how good it feels to save so much money and still get great quality.

Fail. Left bad taste in my mouth

This whole experience could only be called: Fail. Involved three round trips of 70 miles to Sierra Vista and left me wondering what kind of shenanigans were going on. First the machine: I returned it because the wireless feature was incompatible with Qwest DSL router. I called both Kodak and Qwest (Century Link) and was advised to purchase a new modem/router at Radio Shack or Best Buy. But the real FAIL was that this was supposed to be a $50 discount deal with a recycled printer. I brought in my old printer on Friday but Best Buy had only one Kodak model and it was out of stock. It was priced at $99.95. I went back 2 days later (Sun). Now the printer was in stock, but priced at $49.95. I did not leave my old printer since the $50 Kodak coupon was valueless. I returned the Kodak printer the next day when I could not set up wireless feature. I think Best Buy decided they didn't want to bother with disposing of recycled printers, but the whole affair was a big zero. I'm not sure I'll do business with Best Buy in the future. BTW, this printer is a discontinued model. Kodak does not list it on their website. Best Buy had no other Kodak models though the coupon was valid for any Kodak model, but only at Best Buy stores.

This printer does excellant priinting, scanning of picutres and other documents and the Home Center software that comes with the driver is very good at sharpening up digital pictures before printing them. I copied a color magazine article with color pictures and the copy was as good as the original. Also to copy I didn't have to have the computer on. The wireless connection works seamlessly and is always ready when I decide to print. Thanks to trading in my Old Lexmark printer and using a discount coupon I saved big time on the printer and now save everytime I purchase ink at 9.99and 17.99 for 500 page cartridges and the new 70% larger black ink for 15.99 ( only $6.00 for 350 more pages). I smile every time I use it-Remembering paying $950 for my first Dot Matrix Epson and $15.00 per Ribbon in 1981 Dollars..

    Didn't work at first

The first day I used this printer it would not work correctly - the blue color wouldn't print at all. I did online chat with Kodak and they determined I needed a new printhead which they sent right out. Things still did not improve so they sent me a new printer. Meanwhile, the original printer started to work finally and it did a pretty good job. Still I hooked up the replacement printer and all I got was an error message about some elusive paper jam that I could not find or fix (I suspect it was a bad refurbished printer). I just sent back the replacement printer and kept the original and crossing my fingers it continues to work. The online chat with Kodak was great - but it was a very slow process. I think they are dealing with several at once so answers are extremely slow. The printer seems to do a pretty good job for the price which is all I need for at home needs. There are some slightly noticeable lines in the pictures I printed.

I would not suggest this printer for anyone they still have the 5.4 version disc for installation which is out dated the website version 6.2 will not install all the drivers I have spent 5 hours trying to install this printer (3 hours on with kodak tech support) I work from home and needed it for work the next day surprise no printer the next day. Installing a printer is very easy a monkey could do it so this is a real shame that my time was wasted this much. Also the tech support just kept doing the same thing over and over again which makes no since because we continued to get the same result 3 hours on the phone and I still have no printer I am very good with computers it's not that I do not know what I am doing of course if I didnt you would think that within 3 hours tech support could have walked me through it however this was not the situation... not to mention I was up all night trying to get this taken care of so I would have the printer the next day for work ..... final thought I would not give this printer away it would be cruel for the next person.

This is my second kodak upgraded from 5200. 5200 last me about 2 years with very heavy printing from Copies, Documents and Photos. Went throught 3 different print heads but all replace free from Kodak Customer Service. Pros: Wifi work out the box very easy to set up "You need to download Kodak Software to make it's work very easy". Fast Printing, Excellent Black color i used Kodak Paper 4 Stars and it's excellent in color quality. And yes the color and black cartridge let's me print about 150 pictures with 4 stars papers. I save tons of money over inks when switching to kodak years ago. Cons: Very noisy when it's printing. Slow Start Up.

I decided on this All-In-One because I hated my old one so much! I don't print a lot, but when I do need to , I will no longer have to worry about spending $65-$70 on ink any longer!!!!! This was VERY easy to set up and easy to use, and not as noisy as my old one either. Maybe my old scanner was just out dated, (3 yrs old) but I am able to scan a group shot of my family and if I want, I can focus in on just one person and save that pic. Haven't had a lot of time to play with it yet, just got it 2 days ago. But so far I am loving it! Being wireless is great too, when my kids come over with their laptops, they will be able to use it, without kicking us off our computer!

Worse Printer I have ever owned, frustrating!

I have had more problems with this printer in 1 month than I ever had with any other printer combined over the past 20 + years of buying printers. It is flimsy, has a recurrent problem with interface between cartridges and printhead that can't be resolved by use of manual protocols. I have been unable to get in touch with their support via live chat and 800#, and e-mail has only resulted in "a technician will make contact." I will never buy another Kodak printer. Period.

I only bought this printer because of the BB $50 off when you recycle your old printer program and it's wifi. During setup I had issues during firmware update which killed the wifi capabilities and had to return it for another. The second one went through the setup routine flawlessly, but I did notice on regular paper, near the edge of sheet the ink seem a bit darker. Paper jams seem to be an issue with this printer and the ESP 5250 which a friend of mine has. Sometimes this printer falsely reports of a jam when it sits idle for a couple of days, and in most cases a reboot of the printer cures the problem. I would ONLY recommend this if you get the $50 off for your old broken printer exchange program.

Great wireless printer for the price

Had 3 computers hooked up to this printer in approximately 90 minutes. Tested photos and documents and it worked perfectly from each computer. Even downloaded the Kodak Pic Flick App on my iphone and printed a picture that was on my iphone from approximately 50 feet away. I bought the printer to save money on ink. HP ink was way too expensive. So far I am very happy. If I save as much as I think I will, I'll be even happier. Since I only paid $79 for the printer, I should break even in about 8-9 months based on Kodak's projections.

I initially chose this printer because it offered the features that I needed and had a $50 instant rebate with a recycle trade in. Since I've been using it for a couple of months I have been very pleased with it's print quality and ease of use. I have not had to replace the ink cartiridges yet as my volume of printing is light to moderate, but am not dreading it as the cartridges are so reasonably priced, which means I will probably print more photos than I used to. I use the printer primarily for business related needs but have printed a number of photos as well and have been very pleased with the trueness of color and print quality.

I purchased my printer in early August 2011 and was hesitant because of some of the paper jam reviews. I have used it with envelops, labels, photo paper, premium inkjet paper and ever plain old copy paper. Needless to say, I have not had one jam yet. Additionally, the ability to print wirelessly or by using a USB cable is very nice. On top of that you can download an app to your phone that will allow you to print your photos wirelessly to the printer!!! (check Kodak's website for details) In short, I would recommend this printer to anyone that is looking for something inexpensive that works great!

One color runs out quickly disconnects from Wi-Fi

It is highly annoying that I got almost no use from the color cartridge. The yellow ran out quickly and therefore I could not print anything in color. Then when printing black and white documents ONLY the rest of the color ran out and I could not print black and white documents until I got another color cartridge. In addition, the Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting and so I have to keep trying to fight with it to connect and it has made me late to where I was going on more than one occasion. This is a horrible printer and I would never ever buy another Kodak again. This printer is useful for printing a few pages once or twice a month and should be advertised as such.

Though setup was easy after the first two pages printed the printer gave a jam error even though there was no paper in it. No amount of support from Kodak or Best Buy could resolve the issue so they replaced my initial purchase with another of the exact same model. The second printer went through the setup easily, the wireless printing would not work, it was very noisy when it printed, and the scanner would not work. Returned for a refund and went back to HP which is working beautifully.

This baby does everything you need a wireless printer to do, but is slightly more complicated to set up. Set up is done mainly on the small LCD screen of the printer. Example, Scanning was preset for the USB connection. I had to go through the submenus to choose my wireless connection. Once you have everything set up within the printers brain it functions great. I use it for 2 computers....1 Mac & 1 Windows. It is a little slower than my last printer, but I do not know if this is because of the wireless feature. I also would have liked to use it with my IPad, but it is not compatible so far.

Very disappointed with this Kodak printer

Very disappointed with this Kodak printer, as it failed after being switched on for around two hours. It would not respond to the On/Off button wich remained illuminated green. The support offered by Kodak was courteous, however of no technical value, clearly the person had not read the detailed description of the problem which was provided, frustratingly, the same question were asked several times. I will not purchase another Kodak product, neither can I recommend Kodak to others. However, I do recommend Best Buys as they exchanged this faulty Kodak printer for an HP unit without question, which has performed flawlessly since first turning it on

I bought this under the printer swap program for a total of $50.00. How can you go wrong??!! It was easy to set up and has decent print quality. The WiFi feature is GREAT!! We are dumping jobs to it from 3 desk tops and a lap top. The cost of the refills is a big plus, as we go through a lot of ink. So what if it's a little slow? If you practice time management, you can afford to what a few more seconds for your items to scan and print!!
