Good value - works with MAC (Snow Leopard)

    Posted .

Printer works great. Color, quality, and speed are all good for the price. Had a problem getting the wireless to connect to my router when I first tried to install - so downloaded the updated MAC driver (firmware update) and it worked great. Will see how the ink price compares with the ads after I use it for a while - but seems to live up to it's claims.

    Great printer for the price!

    Posted .

Bought this printer as a part of the Kodak trade in program, so I got it for $60 after trading in my HP all in one, not bad. I like the fact that there are only 2 print cartridges (no need for a separate one for photo printing) and that the print cartridges are basically half the price of HP cartridges. Also the built in wi-fi is great for us since our main computer is a laptop. It would have cost me $80 to get the HP wi-fi upgrade. The downside is that the printer is a little loud and takes a little while to start and stop printing (moving parts after print is complete). But since it's upstairs and away from everything, not that big of a deal...

    Good wireless printer

    Posted .

I wanted to get a wireless printer to connect to three laptops and a netbook on my local wireless network. I was using a Lexmark all in one printer, but the ink refills were becoming prohibitively expemsive. It was hard wired to my desktop computer so it was inconvenient for other family members. This printer was easy to connect to a universal serial data cable. Connecting it wirelessly was slightly more difficult. I tried everything that I could think of after reading the instructions. First thing that you need to remember is that you must type your security code for your network access in caps. The Printer does not seem to know about lower case on its keypad. After trying multiple times to persuade the printer tp connect wirelessly, I finally discovered, by looking at the printer properties, that the IP Address was off by one digit, compared to what the printer reported when you print out the network layout from the keypad. Example 250.250.88.12 instead of 250.250.88.11 Once I fixed that, the printer performed flawlessly and I would hiighly recommend it.

    Great buy

    Posted .

I bought this because of the low cost on ink and that it was wireless. I love this printer! I can put my camera card into the printer and print any size picture I want and it is better then sending them out to be done. I have had no issues scanning either. This is a great deal and I would buy again. I have had other printers that costs me about $60 to replace the ink and this is only a third of the cost! I love that it is wireless so my entire family can print from anywhere in the home from their laptops. I no longer have to unplug the usb and hook up to another laptop. I did a lot of research on this printer and am pleased with my purchase. It wasn't a lot of money and does a suberb job!

    Great Printer

    Posted .

I bought this printer on-sale with the trade-in allowance and it was a great buy! It's my first wireless printer and having the mobility to print where I want from anywhere in the house is very nice. The print quality is top-notch and the photos I've printed have been superb. I'd recommend this printer to anyone who is on a budget and wants a great printer because the refill cartridges are a fraction of other brands.

    Great printer for home

    Posted .

This printer was bought for my brother-in-law and sister who are not very tech savy. It was easy to set up after all the packaging was removed and makes great pictures. For a color and black ink cartridge, it would cost the same as a single color cartridge on my old printer, which I recycled and got extra money off a printer that was already on sale. A great value, especially for those that are or have students.

GREAT FOR PHOTOS NOT SO GREAT FOR DOCS

    Posted .

Photo wise I cannot even complain, I would give this a 10 star rating. I use this for documents as far as printing graphics on regular paper. The quality of detail is not good at all. I had gotten rid of my hp because it was about 5 years old and the wear and tear of printing was causing a lot of paper jams. I would have not purchased this printer if I knew the quality difference was going to be that great.

    Product good for home use

    Posted .

We haven't used it for printing photos yet, but for everyday use of printing documents or copying, this works well. I can't get it to scan yet...so I'll be looking at the instructions more carefully to see what our glitch is. I LOVE the price of the ink...SO much more affordable than Dell.

    So far so good

We bought this printer primarily for the claimed ink savings. Its too soon to tell if its going to be cheaper or not. maybe I'll update later. So far the features etc are good, print quality is great, overall happy.

    Love it!

    Posted .

I love this printer! The only down side was that the first one I bought did not work. I took it back and Best Buy and exchanged it for another one with no trouble. This one worked perfectly! I have printed hundreds of pictures on it (my primary reason for the purchase). They look great! I created a photo album for my brother who lost ALL his pictures in a house fire, so I was copying old family photos via the scanner as well as sending picutures wirelessly from my computer! They all came out soooo well! I was concerned that because the printer was not expensive, the print quality would be poor, but it was great! Very happy with my purchase! I have two other printers, and now neither of them get used because the wireless printing makes this one so handy! Love it!

Easy to set up. A bit slow to begin printing.

    Posted .

Set up for wireless was fast and easy. The instructions are unclear as to whether the printer can be used in the USB connection and the wireless at the same time. The printer looks good and is compact. It seems to me that it takes too much time between a print command from the computer and when printing begins on the computer--and this is when using the wired USB connection.

    Nice printer for the money

    Posted .

Purchased for the wireless feature mainly. Can't say much on the print quality as I mostly print documents, seldom pictures. It is kind of noisy, but the wireless feature is reliable, which is more than I can say for some other brands. In 2 months it has printed on the first try every time except once and then when I turned it off and on it reestablished the connection.

    Lots of trouble with this.

    Posted .

This has been a huge disappointment to me. We have a very difficult time with it, consistently. Whether we're trying to print from a computer or scan, it barely ever just does what it should, We have to turn it off and back on, unplug it, disconnect it, etc. etc. all the time. It's been a real pain so far. Stay away from this one if you have a choice!!

Easy to install but must reenter network password

    Posted .

Great printer overall. I am a tech. guy and the only gripe i have about the printer is that i have to reenter my network password about 2-3 times a week. I print on avg. 3-5 pages daily... great quality, good speed, and saves ink. Definately recommend if its a wired connection... wireless.. works fine.. just expect to possibly have to enter your password weekly.

    Ehhh...

    Posted .

I bought this printer because it was on sale for $59.99. Right out of the box the printer didn't work. There was zero power. I went through the Kodak troubleshooting site, and since that didn't help solve my problem, I packed it back up, discouraged, and went back to Best buy to exchange it. The next one I brought home worked, but it certainly hasn't been as great as I would have expected. the setup was easy, but you have to switch between wireless or USB printing.

Good Network Printer for remote printing

    Posted .

It was the easiest printer I have every had the fortune to setup and use. The best part was that I did not even have to plug in a USB or other printer cable to my laptop for setup. The hardest part of the whole process was finding my WiFi security code and typing it into the printer.

    Great printer for the price

I love my printer. I am not a technical person, but I found it easy to set up. The print is good and so is the color. I think the speed of the printing is great. This is a great printer.

Good Printer and easy to use.

    Posted .

Configuration was easy, but long. When you load the program from the CD then select "Download Updated Files" it apparently downloads the entire program from the Internet. It took about 20 - 30 minutes, and I have a 6mb connection. I added other computers and it took just as long. Printing and Scanning are easy, and the interface is intuitive. I hope the ink cost is as low as advertised, with over 400 pages per cartridge at $10 for black, and $20 for color. Time will tell.

    COMPATABLE with WINDOWS-7 !

    Posted .

I purchased my Kodak ESP 5250 3in1 Printer 24 hours ago and have printed over 75 full page letters, 75 envelopes, 8 color full page copies and several 5X7 color pictures. The ink is still fine, the print quality is good, the speed is normal in all printing situations. All the horror stories about this printer are most likely due to incorrect instalation of the software and printer. The only problem I ran into is it will not scan from Kodak Home Center or from its control panel / most likely a software glitch because it will run fine from windows. All other functions work as designed. The big bonus is, INK DOES NOT SMEAR like most ink jet printers even when I tried to make it smear getting it wet. Also this is the only printer I found compatable with windows-7.

    Printer OK

    Posted .

Once I had it set up, I discovered that it would not print any colors except yellow and pink. I contacted Kodak immediately and they sent me a new print head. That came and the printer worked great for a few days, but then it started telling me that my ink cartridges were almost empty. When I had called about the print head, the folks at Kodak had assured me that the cartridges that came with the printer were good and should last for hundreds of pages. I contacted Kodak once again, and they shiipped two new print cartridges to me. I had to uninstall and reinstall the printer, but now it appears to be working fine. I have to say that Kodak's customer service was very responsive, so I'm hoping that the printer will now work fine.
