    Best Printer EVER

    Posted .

Just connected the 5250 to our Dell PC, Toshiba Laptop and iPhones. Set up was easy and it prints faster and with higher quality than any all-in-one we've ever owned(Lexmark/HP/Epson).

    Great printer

    Posted .

This printer is so easy to use. Easy to set up and connect to your computer. Setting it up wireless is a breeze. I LOVE the fact that the ink is sooo inexpensive. I will never have so spend an arm and a leg for ink! The only drawback is that if you have to hook up your printer to your computer by USB cable one is not included. Fortunately I had one, because I have a Kodak Easy Share camera.

    Awesome for photographs

I bought this printer as a replacement for my 5 year old kodak printer!! I am an amatuer photographer as well as a scrapbooker so I print alot of photos. The Ink on the Kodak is cheap amd the printers are awsome. you cant tell the difference between the pictures I have printed out or the ones I have had printed at labs!!! Awesome printer I love the quality for the price!!

    Everything functions perfectly

The only thing I dock this printer for is it prints a little slow. If you aren't in a hurry though it's perfect.

    great printer for the price

    Posted .

This is a great printer for the price. Easy to setup and use, speed and quality are great. Ink is cheap, if it prints as many pages as my lexmark cartridges. I'll have to check and see. Haven't had to replace cartridge yet. The only negative is that it is pretty noisy and it doesnt have a multi page feeder. I had an HP printer that jammed all the time, and purchased this when they offered a $50.00 trade-in.

Does everything it says it does

Print from anywhere in the house, wireless set-up was easy. Photos looked great. Ink costs are very delicious! You can't go wrong. So far, best printer, copier, scanner I ever owned. Worth the money. You get what you pay for in other cheaper brands. Do yourself a favor and invest in this machine.

    Happy with the printer

    Posted .

I bought this kodak printer just because of the cheap ink and to try it out. Well I am truly satisfied with it especially when I own a hp printer for a year. I print it out the exactly same pictures one from hp and the other from the kodak printer. Well I ask about three people which looks better they said the kodak one looks better and trust me it does. Hp Photo looked to dark and the colors looked kind of faded. Now with the kodak it looks clear and lighter and colors look nice. With the HP printer I had to buy three differents inks one black the regular color and the photo color ink which I think is too much thats almost like 60.00 dollars thats too much and with kodak is just two colors u use. I had to try out the kodak after reading everyones problems with it I just had to tested it out myself im not saying HP is not a good brand dont get me wrong it is but for now I am staying with the kodak printer no problems at all. Can judge a book by its cover. U gotta try it out instead of going for what people say in this thing I did. Everyone has their own opinions. Satisified with this product

    Great printer for the money.

Bought new printer for less money than replacement ink cartridges for my old printer. Should have done it long ago as new printer has excellent print quality. Very impressed with ease of set up and operation.

    Noisy and Jams

    Posted .

This printer is very noisy and jams consistently. I would consider it to be a bad choice for a first, second or third printer. Also the ink cartridges get used very quickly despite their cost savings motive. I had several problems with connecting to the WIFI system and talked to the customer service. They did not have proper support for Windows 7 despite their claim to be WIN 7 ready. The support wasn't very helpful and seemed to be very basic similar to the setup manual and the user guide. The printer seems to be very outdated in performance.

    Great printer for my kids

    Posted .

I like this printer for my kids and their school work. It was bought for that purpose because of the low cost inks. Been very pleased with the quality of the printouts to date. The only downside was setting up the wireless. It didn't work as I'd like. The routers are downstairs, and the printer is upstairs. The signal didn't appear strong enough to manage print jobs.

Easy to set up and use.Uses very little ink.

The sales person showed me the great features this printer has and that it only uses 1/4 of the ink as the one I was going to buy. It was very easy to set up with my computer and th wireless feature is great. I had 2 epsons before this Kodak. Best move I could have made.

"Introductory ink" only prints about 10-15 pages

    Posted .

I got this for a good price, but as far as how it prints, who would know when the introductory ink only prints about 10-15 pages!!!! (Which is ironic since Kodak's big claim to fame with their ink is how long it lasts!!) This would have been nice to know when I purchased the printer instead of when I am trying to print out a project for my children's school that I need to turn in tomorrow!!!!!!! The other complaint is that it is very loud when it is warming up and printing. I guess I will have to let you all know how it works long-term, once I get more ink and get a chance to use it for more than 15 pages!

    Great printer for the price

I got this printer when I went back to school, but I use if for almost anything. It prints decent pictures and I have even made baby shower invitations with it. I would highly recommend this printer. The installation wizard didnt work well for me, my computer would not detect the wireless device. I had to manually install the printer but everything works great not.

    Kodak Printer

I bought this printer with my Emachine, Slimline computer. Printer performs exceptionally well. Love the WiFi. Installed in about one minute. The cost of ink was not major concern, the reputation of Kodak and wireless feature sold me.

    OK but.....

    Posted .

I had been using an HP scanner for copying and e-mail scanning however it wasn't now fully-compatable with Windows 7 so I thought this Kodak would function well and hopefully save ink. I do mostly B&W printing but occasional 4x6 color photos. Have almost depleted the B&W cartridge in less than a month. I try and use both sides of the paper sheets and have had lots of jamming when turning the paper over and inserting. You have to just-about tear the jammed paper out.

Kodak saves me money on ink

    Posted .

The best price for ink cartridges on the market which makes purchasing kodak by far the best deal. Super easy to set up and best part fits on my book shelf in my bedroom out of sight from the rest of my living room but because of the wi fi am able to print from all the computers and laptops through out the house. Haven't used all the features & therefore the reason I didn't mark it high on features.

    Very good printer

    Posted .

I've just used this for printing documents and my kids use it for their stuff (school work, on-line activiteis, etc.), but so far I am impressed. The whole wireless thing blows my mind a little and I think that is very cool. I have not (and don't intend) to print pictures - but for general home use - this printer does the job and then some. The fact that it was so easy to set up was a bonus.

    HAPPY AFTER ONE MONTH

    Posted .

Our purchase was an economy move to replace a perfectly good printer that required four short-lived cartridges at about $15 a pop. We usually print, copy, or scan a few pages or photos once or twice a day. I have seen the ESP 5220 criticized for being slow and noisy. I find the speed to be quite adequate. I am sensitive to noises. It is not silent, but I don't find it unpleasantly or excessively noisy. In fact I kind of like it that it announces a job with a few noises. I have seen it criticized for dropping printed pages on top of blank pages. This has caused no problem in our use. We run it with a wireless connection from a Mac iBook with OS 10.4. The printer does not support my old G4 with OS 10.3.9, so I email jobs to myself and print them from the iBook. This is only a small inconvenience for me, but I would not like it if I printed more often. Scanning and copying is very easy and good quality in black and white. I haven't tried color. Print quality is good for both documents and photos. We experienced one problem when we heightened the contrast of a family photo. Dark pants came out white, fine for the washing, but not for a photo. I don't know if the fault lies with the printer or with the photo editing software. Bottom line: I'm amazed at what it does for the price.
