    Never did what it advertised

    Posted .

I bought this printer because it advertised better quality picture prints while providing more prints for less ink so less money spent on ink. This printer was used for maybe 5 - 10 sheets of printing per month small photos or text writing for school projects. It ran through ink horribly fast whatever I printed and then the print heads stopped working. Kodak refused to fix it saying it was out of warranty.

    I love it!!

The little screen is awesome to set up programming. The wireless is amazing. I have had ONE issue with Windows7 but a reboot after install fixed all of that. The printer makes wonderful sheets and the scanner is just as good. The ink is CHEAP, CHEAP however the color cartridge is not the same price as the black so that is where they get ya. I can put my camera card in the printer and make prints from the printer without having to turn on my computer - which is the best to send friends home with pictures who don't catalog pictures the way most do now.

    Excellent Printer- inexpensive cartridges!

    Posted .

I have always purchased HP and Canon printers. The salesman showed me the Kodak and I took a chance and bought it. What a difference! Excellent printing quality and the cartridges actually last longer (more prints per cartridge!) and the cartridges are much cheaper than the HP and Canon ones! It pays off in the long run. I am very pleased. In this economy, it is great to get a good deal!

Great wireless printer at a fantastic SALE price!!

    Posted .

I got this printer during a trade-in period Kodak was promoting. It was on sale, then I got another $50 off with the trade in of an old, junky Dell printer. For the price I love this printer and the features - especially the wireless capability. The color does seem a little dull, but I am hoping, once I actually have to purchase ink, it will brighten up. Even if it does not - for the price I paid I would take this printer every day of the week! It also seems to print at a pretty quick speed. Overall I am very happy with this printer!

I bought this for the savings on ink cartridges and price. It is as advertised, all in one. My only issue is it will not install the scanner option after numerous attempts.

    DON'T BUY!!!!

    Posted .

I bought this product a little over a year ago because they supposedly had cheaper ink. That's NOT TRUE! The printhead has gone out on it twice now. The 1st time, Kodak was very nice about it and sent me one for free, but 2 days ago, it went out for again. Keep in mind, you have NO warning on when this piece is going to stop working! And you CAN'T buy it in a store, you have to order it through kodak & it takes a week to get shipped to you. So you will have no working printer for a week, with no notice beforehand. Anyway, when I called Kodak this time, they said I had to pay for the $25 printhead plus shipping because my 1 year warranty had expired. I asked them why their printheads always go out, I never had to replace one for my HP printer. Turns out, every other company puts their printheads in with the ink cartridges. So what Kodak did was separate the two to make their ink look a little cheaper and then make you buy your own printhead later on down the road. So how is Kodak saving us any money? They are actually HIDING the fact that they are just as expensive, only you have to buy your printhead SEPARATELY and you can only buy it through them. AND you have to wait a week for your printer to work again. I'm sorry, but I'd MUCH rather an HP printer. The ink is not that expensive and I won't have a broken down printer for another week again!

Great Printer, Bad Kodak Customer Service

    Posted .

The printer works great. My only complaint is the quality of customer support that I received from Kodak. Nobody answered the phone and nobody answered their 24-hour online chat ... I waited over 3 hours. I eventually was helped by some friends who saw my posts on facebook!!!

    As advertised

I'm not very computer-minded, but I was able to install and hook-up this printer to my daughters WIFI in less than five min. It prints extremly clear and vivid photographs, and the copier is business quality. I have had this about two months and the ink wells are still full. This product would be hard to top. Especially the price.

    Don't waste your time

When I set this thing up and printed a test page it jammed twice before successfully printing the test page. I thought maybe it was my fault so I looked it over and double checked everything, even tried different paper. It still could not print more than a few pages in a row without jamming. Then when you clear the jammed paper it says the print head is jammed, even though its not. I also had an issue with the wifi. It would say it was connected to the network, but if I didn't use it for a day or two my computers could not recognize it. My other issue with this printer was the dull colors. My wife prints a lot of colorful flyers for her business and she couldn't belief how blah they were. So in conclusion after one week and 20 or so jammed pages I returned this piece of junk. I ended up buying an Epson Stylus NX510 for $20 less and it is wonderful!

    Fantastic Printer

This printer was very user friendly. A virtual snap to set up. I've had Kodak printers before and I will be a Kodak customer for years to come if they keep producing great printers like this one. The photo quality of my prints is excellent - you couldn't get better prints even if you took them into a store. Keep up the good work KODAK.

    Good Printer, Inexpensive Ink

    Posted .

Have had no issues with the printer. Love the wireless networking was easy to setup. Ink is cheap and seems to last as long as others so far. Operation of the printer is a bit on the noisy side but not much more then the HP I had. Overall I am pleased with the product.

    Great Printer

Picked this up at Best Buy for $70 after sale price and $50 printer trade-in. It was quite easy to set up. The wirelss connecion instructions had me worried, but since my laptop was already wireless, all I had to basically do was enter the password for my router and it set right up perfectly. I haven't tried the scan or copy part yet, but I mainly got it for the wireless printing. I feel it is somewhat nosiy, especially when turing it on, but I can live with that.

    Does the job

Easy to set up and nice to be able to not have the printer right near the computer. Kodak sold me on their printers when they took the most costly part of printers, the ink, and made it affordable without sacrificing quality.

    Not bad

    Posted .

It makes for a good wireless printing. Not slow with quality prints. The only short coming I've found is the imaging. If you look for a good quality scanner you may be disappointed. I tried a few photos they all scan in faded or washed out looking.
