I was offered $40 off the price of a Kodak or a Canon printer when I bought a new laptop. I already had a Canon, with which I was very happy, but had never had a Kodak. I thought that with their background in photography, Kodak should be good, so I ordered it. I noticed that its weight was considerably lighter than other printers that I have had. There was a reason for this. It was made of rather flimsy plastic. It was reasonably easy to set up and connect to my wireless network and worked well for a few weeks. Yesterday I was trying to print some emails for a meeting. The printer would print the page OK, but then the paper feeder would reverse and suck the page back into the printer causing a paper jam. After the 10th time that this happened, I had had enough. I packed everything up and returned it to Best Buy. Their representative in the computer section was very gracious offering me a replacement printer made by Canon or Epson. Since the Canon that I already owned had been working well for over a year, I chose the Canon. I noticed immediately that the Canon was considerably heavier than the Kodak. Much pleased with the Canon and the service that I received from Best Buy. In a nutshell...don't buy a Kodak printer. There is a reason why that company has gone bankrupt.

The ESP 310 3 in 1 printer was only my second I have used. I originally had a Hp printer which did the job for me, and I had many jobs that went through it. I have been using the Kodak printer for a few weeks now and it has been doing a great job. The printing is sharp and clear and the color is right on. I'm sure other more costly printers are good and maybe better, but I have no complaints with what I got for the price. I read about ink not lasting very long on printers, which I agree. But, I believe in the long run the Kodak ink will last me longer than my Hp printer. and it cost much much more. It is a bit noisy starting up, but I can live with that. For just an over all daily home printing, it does the job.

I PRINTED MAYBE 20 DOCUMENTS NO PICTURES AND HAD TO GET NEW CARTRIDGES, THEY ARE LESS COSTLY THEN MOST BUT RAN OUT QUICKLY. AFTER THESE 20 DOCS I BELIEVE I HAVE A BAD PRINTHEAD AND WASTED NEW CARTRIDGES TRYING TO GET THE THINGS TO PRINT WITH NO SUCCESS, IT DOESNT PRINT ANYTHING ON THE PAGES, DESPITE ALL THE TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES I HAVE TRIED. ALSO YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE COLOR INK AVAILABLE TO EVEN PRINT BLACK AND WHITE AND IF THE COLOR IS EMPTY THE PRINTER WONT PRINT AT ALL. FIRST PRINTER I HAVE OWNED THAT WORKS THAT WAY. MY ADVISE IF YOU ONLY PRINT DOCUMENTS GET A LASER PRINTER LIKE BROTHERS HL-2270DW. WHICH I HAVE ORDERED EVEN THOUGH MY C310 IS UNDER WARRANTY, HAVE LOSTED ALL FAITH IN IT.

Have had many printers in the past (HP, Epson, Canon). This one is by far the best. Not only is the printer inexpensive to purchase, but seems (so far) to be inexpensive to use. The print quality is exceptional. I do a lot of 8.5 x 11 and some 4x6 and 5x7's and the speed is very good. I have only had it for a few weeks and I have printed 12 4x6's and 3 5x7's and 4 8.5x11's. I am keeping track so I can see how much the ink will cost per picture printed. So far I just love this printer and would recommend it to anyone who likes to print their own pictures. Prints documents very well also.

I have spent the last hour trying to get this hunk of junk to print and the most I've gotten out of it was half of a document. The USB printing is passable and the instant copies are decent, but any claim that this printer works wirelessly is pure fiction. On top of all of that, the ink is not such a bargain as they lead you to believe. I am on my 3rd set of cartridges and I've only printing a couple hundred pages of word and web documents on standard or draft modes. They may be slightly cheaper than some of the competitors, but they make up for it in lack of print volume. Furthermore, they require you to install their annoying piece of junk software to even use the stupid thing. I tried to bypass the software and program the wireless drivers manually through the hardware manager but to no avail. This printer offered a lot of pretty nice features and for a reasonable price... unfortunately most of it doesn't work reliably.

I am often in need of guidance when it comes to learning the set up & operation of many of these computer related products.Kodak has very patient support staff to help in both of these catagories. This printer operates both wirelessly or with cable. The ink cartridges are low in cost & Kodak often sends deals via e-mail on shipping & reduced ink cost. Its very easy to replace ink cartridges.I go on Bing.com & download printable images & sometimes frame them--great wall or table art for home!Unit is energy star rated!Kodak often sends alerts so that when you follow their brief steps, your printer's functionality is upgraded--it becomes more efficient with less operational steps involved.

Nice printing but runs out of ink FAST

I have had to run out to get ink several times because it seems to run out of ink on a monthly basis with not that often of use (maybe 5 sheets a week) printing in black. I have set it to print only in black and white but the color "runs out" even still. Like most printers, you can't print in black and white if it says it's out of color. It was a nice gimmick to get me to buy it with the "lowest ink price" but it costs more in the long run with this printer, and I like to use a printer cartridge until it's really gone #where the ink is clearly out#. It makes me not trust companies with that type of manipulation/control they try to impose.

I recently got this printer so I would be able to scan pictures to my computer and print pictures. Well I can scan and print pictures fine, but as for scanning them to my computer they come up as unreadable files. Also scanning photos to a memory card that's a joke. I had an older HP photo printer and it allowed me to do a lot more. I'm disappointed that I went cheap and got this. The quality of the picture you get from it is good but not great. Wireless printing works great. I guess I can't really complain because in this case you are definitely getting what you paid for and I wanted to try to save a buck. I wish I would have gone with my instinct and got a Cannon or Lexmark. If you are just looking for a basic printer and scanner then this is ok, but if you are going to be using it more for the photo part of it definitely go with something else.

I traded a ten year old HP inkjet printer in for this piece of junk, thinking that the functionality of this printer/scanner/copier would be better. I should've kept the old reliable printer that I had. Don't buy this. I printed in black and white, the color ink ran out (how??) and now, even though there's a full black ink cartridge, and even though it's set to black and white, it won't print until I replace the color cartridge. On top of that nonsense it sucks down the ink like crazy. The cartridges might be ten bucks but, you have to replace them ten times as often. Complete waste of money. I want my old printer back.

While the print quality is good, the wireless works fine, colors are good - the durned thing constantly beefs at you to feed it ink. And worse, it won't let you continue printing when IT decides the time has come for you to replace the cartridge. Even if you're only doing BLACK copies, if the color cartridge has decided it's too low, forget it - you get NOTHING. Go buy ink. NOW. Any inkjet user KNOWS that when the WARNING comes, there's a good 15-20 copies left. Can you milk them from this cow. No way. It's so exasperating, I'm abandoning my "new" machine - I'll go back to my old DJ3200. I know. "Kodak cartridges are less expensive." Sure they are. About $20 vs. $25 for the "other guy's". But when you get 25% more PRINTS before you have to stop and go to the store,.... It's bye, bye Kodak time....

My printer is missing manuals BB And Kodak won't H

The printer seems OK But since I didn't receive my owners manual it is a little hard to figure how to use it. I have contacted both Best Buy and Kodak and not been able to get them to send documentation listed as being in the box. I am fed up with both companies and would like my money back. I can't believe Best buy sent this review request. They have nothing to help me with any request I have made. I now have a wireless printer I use with a USB cable because I don't know how to use it wirelessly. I think I need a wireless router but I'm not sure I bet the information is in the owners manual.

I was never so disappointed in a product as I am with the C310 by Kodak. I have spent three days trying to get this piece of garbage to work. I even had on line chat help, and let them take control of my comp. to help in setting it up. The software wont install properly...and I've used so much ink in calibrating and testing. The only thing it did well was to scan pics & docs to my comp. Im packing it up and taking it back. I've had Epsom & Lexmark all in one's and they were easy right from day one.....guess I'll stick with brands that I'm familiar with from now on.

    Kodak should stick to cameras

I bought a Kodak ESP printer, first it would not work. Kodak replaced the printer. All internal parts are plastic, it is very noisy. Print quality is mediocore at the best. Paper continually jams. Ink was initially $4.99 for black cartridge, now $19.99. Per cartridge specs, median pages able to print on one black cartridge is 472, I'm lucky to get 100; and this with minimal printing, only written pages. If superior quality photos is what you're looking for DO NOT buy any Kodak printer, they are not worth the frustration and the price!

If you enjoy paper jams... this printer is for you

I currently go to school and use my printer for printing school work (powerpoints, essays, etc.). On average, I'd say I get at least one paper jam per every 10-20 pages printed. Kodak will also say they have cheap ink (and they do). However, their ink cartridges hold very little ink, thus creating my trips to best buy or where ever for more ink. The other brands will charge you more per cartridge, but in the end you'll probably end up spending the same (if not more) for ink with a Kodak. The printer is loud and fairly slow. You get what you pay for here. Invest a little bit more money and get something worthwhile.

I was very surprised at the quality and ease of use of this Copy/Printer/Scanner. I am using the Wireless option and have no problems. Good quality Pictures and clear print. Easy to understand use, through wireless. It looks great, nice size and would recommend this printer for businesses and home photo users as well. Very satisfied.

The printer only worked for a short while and stopped printing. I've had extensive conversations with customer service. Their first suggestion was that I didn't use it often enough and didn't leave it on so the printer heads got clogged up. Like that was my fault. They finally sent new print heads. The new print heads worked for a short while. Now it is back to not printing. I got this printer because it was reasonably priced and wireless. I guess I should have spent more money for a wireless printer.

This is a solid printer for occasional home use. The print quality is decent and fairly quick. It's a little loud, but not unbearable. Good basic printer for the money, with some really nice features like wireless connection and easy to change ink cartridges. The smartphone app that lets you send documents/photos directly to the printer over the wireless connections is a really nice plus.

It's all thumbs up on print quality, speed and features. Low cost ink a plus , but keeping it connected for wireless printing is a bit of a hassle. I have to keep restarting the printer so it can keep connecting to router. I keep updating all software from the Kodak site but doesn't help.

Wanted a Kodak printer because their ink is so much cheaper than other brands. A little disappointed that the colors are in one cartridge, not individual cartridges. This means when one color runs out, the whole cartridge has to be replaced. Very easy to set up wireless printing.

This printer failed in less than 6months. Kodak sent another, That one failed. The nest one failed. Because my original purchase was made over a year ago I'm being offerd a 30% discount on a refurbished printer. I haven't gotten a full years use out of any of these printers. I will NEVER purchase another Kodak product again.
