I got this initially thinking I could use it to digitize a super 8 film, but it doesn't do that. I have used it for slides and film negatives and it does that very well. I did attach a TV screen to it to help with seeing the images better. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.

Easy to use after getting used to the buttons. Once you learn the buttons and the process of converting, it's pretty easy to get in a groove and convert your slides. The pictures turned out well enough to print and for electronic slide shows.

Finally, with this film scanner I can begin a project I've put off for a very long time. I've got so many 35mm slides to scan I could sink a boat. But now, every day, I can so easily scan a slide tray of 180 slides. And, it is fast. This scanner is really worth its price. Very happy with this purchase.

Worked well for my 35mm negatives but not good with other sized negatives. The holder for the 8mm was hard to slip the negatives into it. I have a lot of older negatives of various sizes that did not fit the holders in the set.

I wondered what I was going to do with all the slides I have, it would have cost so much to have them but on the computer, It is slow as you do one at a time but it is awesome to see photos that are 30 to 40 years old.

My Kodak Scanza worked for me twice then it would not come on anymore and no power. I was expecting it to be better since Kodak has been around for many years. The machine is very light weight. The cord is very, very short. I did get a replacement and I appreciate that. The lady was very nice on the phone after my second call and helped me with the problem. She went above and beyond, and I appreciate that. The guy that I first spoke to did not want to do his job. This second one seems to work ok so far.

My Daughter is a photo fanatic. She is always trying something new. I purchased this Digital Film Scanner for her as a Christmas gift and she loves it. She told me that it is exactly what she needed to enhance her photography experience and said she would recommend it to anyone.

This little machine is easy to use. Read the operating manual/instructions first. Then began scanning in my slides. Have enjoyed and look forward to many hours of work transferring slikes and negatives to digital.
