Very surprised at the quality of the screen and quality of the unit. I needed to go through a lot of 35mm negatives in strips. I wanted to put them in digital files to share with family. Initial set up was easy but I couldn't get the strips to slide through the slot easily. After a bit of checking I found a piece of plastic blocking one of the passages for the strips. I cut out the piece and then was able to smoothly slide the strips.

The 110 negatives do not work like it should. You can’t even use the adapter for the 110 negative. Yo have to place it in the bigger adapter an center it and then edit the pictures on your computer. The 126 negatives work a little better. You can use the adapter for it but you still have to center it but so much editing.

Nice little product. Works well. You do have to be careful putting negatives in but does what it's supposed to do.

Really cool machine! We are able to view photos on slides that were taken in the 1960's in Sierra Leone, West Africa during the Peace Corps.

I think the slide scanner will be great, but I didn't know that I had to purchase a separate SD card in order to be able to use this device. So, now that the separate order for the card has arrived I plan to see how easy it will be to convert my slide stash into digital files.

It’s hard to get the correct lighting for capturing image from negative. The image file names restart after each use making it harder to organize.

Not very user friendly. The instructions leave a lot to your ability to figure out how to save items into a file or store pictures onto a flash drive. I need technical support to assist my useage.

    Digitizing 35mm slides

The Kodak SCANZA Digital slide scanner digitizes my slides in about 5 seconds with 3 of those seconds my installing and adjusting the slide. Adding labels takes me MUCH longer. I appreciate the greater detail it provides compared to the device I used 12 years ago.
