Adding the grips really helped me for a few reasons. 1. It gave the controller more surface area to hold. My hands area little bigger than the average person so sometimes it was difficult to easily press buttons without having to shift my hands. 2. The texture is great! It's smooth and soft but still prevents my hands from slipping after some crazy, fast paced gaming. 3. The thumbsticks also helped in a similar way. By adding height, my (bigger) hands were more comfortable and the new, added range of motion really enables more precise movement in game. 4. My controller looks awesome with these things on!

So I've seen these Kontrol Freek kits at my local game stores for a while now, and always thought they seemed like a gimmick. When they went on sale at Best Buy, I figure what's the harm in trying them out? Well long story short, this kit is amazing. The extended range of motion and grip on the analog stick allows for much more precision control. The grips adds just enough cushion without seeming bulky. Overall, long gaming sessions are more comfortable. Definitely not a gimmick. Give them a shot!

My biggest complaint about Playstation controllers was that they feel so small. The grips changed that immensely. They are not sticky to the touch, but are cushioned to allow your hands to lock in. I had to cut some of mine off to fit my charging dock, and it left some sticky residue that required isopropyl alcohol to take off. The thumbstick grips work well, but I'm not a big fan of orange. Oh well, I got this on sale, so I can't really complain!

The Grip makes the controller feels better and the thumb sticks works really Good! I have to use them all time. The only cons i have is that the right thumb stick slips off at times. Works better if your thumbs stick on the controllers are in good conditions. If not when you put the sticks on they will slip off.

Having owned other KontrolFreeks I expected to like this combo pack. The controller grips add a nice level of cushion and the control stick extenders allow for better grip and more precise control. Installation was a breeze with the included instructions. If you don't want to spend hundreds on a custom controller, give these a try. You won't be disappointed.

This won't revolutionize the way you play, but the grips are a nice customization to have. I prefer this shape of the kontrol freaks, having one concave and one convex shape on the sticks is the way I like to have mine set. the additional height is nice, depending on the reach of your thumbs and fingers. It's important to match up the right shape and height to match what feels best to your playstyle. Comfort grips for the controller itself aren't something I like to use, I mainly bought this to get the vortex style thumbstick covers.

PROS: did help improve my accuracy in COD, grip is nice makes the remote feel idk...more comfortable in hands CONS: No directions on if the taller knob should be on the left stick or right stick. I put it on the left at first.... then i googled it and its supposed to go on the right (im right handed using the default controller layouts) I refuse to go without using them now...which bites bc i only have 1 pair for 2 remotes so i will have to buy another ;) they are expensive. $27 for 2 sticker pads and two stick extenders made of plastic and rubber.... that is RIDICULOUS.... theyd sell more it they werent over $14 3 stars bc the price is ludacris, and for some reason i expected a bigger increase in accuracy the package kind of hyped it up... would of given it 3.5 if that was an option :)

The kontrolfreek grips are by no means necessary. As a longtime fps player, i never used them, but i recently changed platform from xbox to ps4. In doing this the familiarity i had with the xbox controller caused me to 2nd guess my reactions which got me killed in many online fps matchs. These grips assisted me in getting comfortable with the different controller layout. Id recommend them to anyone, plus best buy had this combo i had trouble finding, at a good price

I purchased this for the combo. The grips are great for larger hands. Almost want double the thickness but that is on me. The thumb controls are OK but going to purchase what I really want separately. I enjoy the same feel of each button and one is domed.

I have been considering purchasing a pair of Kontrol Freeks for years, but always thought they were a bogus waste of money. They were on sale for $11 so I'd finally pulled the trigger. Was no disappointed. It took me a hour so to get use to the way they felt, but after I did I noticed significant improvement to my accuracy. Honestly a great product. The only knock is the price. The sale price should be base price. Honestly probably cost them less than a dollar to manufacture.

Those really work! Great quality upgrade to a PS4 pad. I was sceptical at first but it turns out these actually make you aim better and add a lot of precision to longer range shots in shooter games. I can't play any action game without them now, totally recommended. The grips are a nice add-on, the pad feels much better during longer gaming.

Being a hardcore gamer, I beat up my controllers by pressing on the analog sticks a lot, and eventually wears them out, by tearing apart the rubber on them or losing grip on them and they become slippery. These help prevent that for me and don't allow my thumbs to slide off when playing fast pace games to aim (e.g. Black Ops 3). Great buy!

Grips are perfect for me .. Now the wrap it's not what I would say the best. It starts to pill off in a week

It was a bit pricey seeming for a controller add on but the extra grip on hands is great and the new stick add ons are accurate and precise. Just make sure you clean controller before putting the grips on.

Bought these for my husband because the controls on his original controller were cracking. The grips really help your fingers stay on the controls and the orange and black look really cool too.

I had read good things about Kontrol Freeks, and after picking them up really was pleased. The stick extenders really help with range and accuracy on fps games, it almost doesn't feel right without them now. The grips seemed odd at first, but after playing with them, I can say they add comfort and an excellent grip to your controller.

Works as advertised, but didn't see much improvement. And once you put the wraps on the controller it's really hard to hook up the external battery.

Was skeptical die to price but it helps me a lot. The stucks give more precision and grip more comfort from sweaty hands

Provides great support and comfort while playing your favorite game. Will definitely buy more each of my controllers.
