The Korg nanoKontrol rocks. I'm using with with a live music rig, a laptop running Steinberg's Nuendo as a live mixing app, and the Korg allows me to remote a whole bunch of faders, knobs and switches to my keyboard, right in front of me. I'm only using Bank 1 out of 4, so it'll do even more than I'm needing right now.
Any fader/knob/switch can be set to any MIDI controller #, so it's versatile as it can be. I have volume controls over all my main channels, hi freq level control on my vocal mic, mutes on several channels, effects levels and sends, etc. It even has transport controls, so I can start/stop Nuendo or search forward or back thru the setlist.
No review on the craftsmanship yet, as I'll have to wait and see how the faders and knobs hold up. But they feel solid and smooth as new. Time will tell, hence the 3 in durability - I just don't know yet.
