Simply a great piece of hardware for $40-50 but do not expect it to withstand any type of abuse. You must even be careful inserting the miniusb input or when putting the controller in a bag/pack to carry around, it is VERY fragile and very poorly constructed. Getting into it's internals is a PITA, why Korg decided to make such an inefficient design is beyond me. None the less, if you treat it like a porcelain doll, it will serve you well!

When All Is Said & Done, It's Just a Toy
It's been said before, you get what you paid for. Maybe if you played nothing but parlor music and mellow ballads this might serve you well. But try laying down some rock or some blues. Hammer away at those drums. Lay down a funky bass track. I did and found that this nano-plastic midi controller is not up to the task. The poor thing now has crooked keys with a few of them sticking and a few of them not playing at all. Save your money and invest in a real midi controller, not this toy.

You can't et a better set of controls for the $$!
I was looking for a nice, inexpensive controller so that I could work on music with my laptop wherever. This and the nanoKEY were PERFECT for this, and bonus, nanoKONTROL came with a $50 discount on some great music creation software (Ableton Live). This little guy rocks for music mixing!
