    Treat with Care

Much like my Nano multislider, the Nano keyboard is a very very very fragile/finicky piece of hardware. For the $40-50 price, it's GREAT value and works incredibly well (I use primarily for Max/msp). It's portability and versatility (without needing fine details) make it a great buy but it is HORRIBLY built. The keys stick, the attack pick up isn't very accurate or consistent, the trigger buttons on the left of the console are also guilty of these critiques. It just simply isn't a finely built board but for the price... would you expect anything less? For what it needs to do (in my instance) it does superbly well and at $50> a GREAT value. Be careful plugging the miniusb input into the controller also as the input jack has a tendency to break on the Korg Nano line of products (and all of them are a PITA to physically get into)

    Difficult to install

By the time you finish installing this product any excitement or anticipation is gone. If you never get it installed as was my case you already made the decision to never buy one of their products again. There is no reason for a $49 product to have that type of insane anti piracy measures for what amounts to a limited version of the real program which in this case is Korg. The keyboard itself had keys that were spongy with very little tactile feel. I really wanted to like this product but in the end I just had to return it.

Bought mine for $49.99 on clearance at the local Best Buy, and took it with me to Mexico for two weeks. It's not a bad little keyboard, but the keys aren't the easiest to play, both because of their smaller size, and because the notes don't always seem to register as being struck in whatever app you're using to create sound.

I was looking for a nice, inexpensive controller so that I could work on music with my laptop wherever. This and the nanoKONTROL were PERFECT for this, and bonus, nanoKEY came with free Korg music software. The sounds are GREAT!

This turned out to be way cooler than I was expecting. Great for a portable setup and the M1 le software that you can download after purchase is flat out awesome. Keys are small but great for messing around - especially while on the move.
