Works fine for me. Setup was complicated.

The setup was time consuming and required several trips back and forth between my router and pc. I followed the directions precisely and had no trouble. Maybe I just got lucky, but the setup went just as the instructions indicated. Once configured, everything worked fine. I know others have not had the success that I have had. Not to pick a fight with the other reviewers, but I can see problems if they didn't follow the directions exactly. As far as forecast accuracy, mine has been dead-on. The inside and outside temps have been accurate too. I would certainly recommend this to others with the caveat that they need to be able to read and follow mildly technical instructions.

    Use your smart phone

If you just want to see a digital readout of indoor and current outdoor temps this is not for you. To see these outdoor temp you must press a button every time or wait for a useless scroll of redundant information to go buy. I'll still use my old fashion thermometer to do this and my smart phone for all the incredible weather apps avail. LED display is poor. set up is not simple (Need a wireless router with an extra ethernet port and online setup/registration), uses electricity, 2 C and 2 AA batteries. Just more wires and cost for a fairly large product that has no advantage over smartphone/ pad apps. Even the remote sensor which is outside is not waterproof or as accurate as 3 weather apps I viewed for verification.

    Too Much Information

This weather station was very easy to set up and transmits the weather forecast information for up to 4 days to the unit after one connects the transmitter to the home network. It does have an outdoor sensor for reporting the current temperature outside the house, but there is a lack of reporting the outdoor humidity. I think this unit gives a little too much information. We get this information on our phones already now. I would rather have my old La Crosse Unit which just had indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity in a smaller compact unit. Also, this unit does not seem wall mountable either.

I was given a weather station as a gift. Never could get it registered online or fully operational. Voice mail to customer service and online posted service request were not answered. This is pathetic and these people should not be in business. I intend to return this to Best Buy for a credit.

I had this unit for 3 months now. For the past 3 weeks it has been updating. I went to website that is no help what so ever. I eventually just threw it away since it is always updating. How long does that take...1 month.

Great way to quickly see the forecast and know what to wear. Remote outdoor temperature works well also.
