Perfect External HD for my iTunes library.

I just wanted to back up and always have access to my large iTunes library and this external hard drive does the trick. Seamless backup with my Apple MBP is what I was looking for in an external hard drive. Great price and esthetics too boot.

I decided to get this after the I realized the rugged ones were out of stock but honestly this is practically the same thing without the orange bumper. It feels very high quality and feels very reliable. I highly recommend!

Great reliability and performance. The different cable options is a bonus. I’m using it for my Mac so the usb-c to sub-c is great for my condition.

Saved the day

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My laptop hard drive was getting critically full, this external hard drive was great for backing up, via Mac's Time Machine app. Thank goodness for ordering online and drive up pick up at Best Buy during COVID-19! I didn't have time to wait for a shipment, I needed it asap to save my files from crashing! I've ONLY used LaCie for my Mac computer, all other hard drives say they are "compatible" but they are not. Stick with LaCie if you're a Mac user!
