Great product for my mothers needs

My mothers Macbook was dying and needed to pull off as much info as I could and do a backup. But the OS was so messed up the backup didn't work. So had to purchase a new computer for her, so this will be the backup for the her. She doesn't have much to back up but having used LaCie products in the past, I have no doubt this will work great.

BE WARNED! The included cables are junk.

The USB-C cable would not fit properly in either a MacBook Pro or iMac. I switched to a different cable I had and the LaCie drive connected right away. I'm sure the drive itself is fine (I've purchased LaCie products several times). It's a shame that LaCie is cutting corners on the included cables.

It worked well and was easy to set up and use. I particularly like the usb and us c cables that were added to device. Would recommend this product. Got it while on sale too. Costs way more at apple :)
