Having Thunderbolt and USB-C all in one drive makes this built for the modern digital times. It's a solid drive and quick with uploads for files big and small. I do a lot of work that requires large files and this is perfect for me.

Hands down the best external drive if you own a Mac. Heavy duty, dependable, and fast. I have used Lacie at work for years and have never had any issues. It costs a little more, but worth the extra money.

Yep, does what is says it does! 2 interfaces, lightning fast. Windows install always a challenge with Lacie!

This has been my go to portable HD for years due to its reliability, toughness and speed. I travel a lot and need massive space for professional production video storage and this HD has never failed me. I highly recommend for anyone looking for the best.

This is the second one of these that I've purchased. I take it back and forth from work to home to backup stuff daily between two different computers. Works well and feels like it could take a beating without breaking. My only concern is that it is a mechanical hard drive and not ssd which means that it could fail at any time. Good idea to have more than one backup of important data, to be sure!

I bought this to do a video conversion project, transferring ancient family video tapes to digital and need a place to rapidly dump converted videos. I'd read that Thunderbolt speed would help. I haven't started the project, but found the Orange Hard Drive is VERY zippy to Boot from!

This drive is super easy to use. It is reasonably priced and unlike other portable drives it has a gyro sensor that senses when it is falling to shut the drive down so it does not get damaged.

This is a great external hard drive for Apple iMac's and laptops because it is has Thunderbolt technology, making a very fast to backup.

When you need blazing fast storage and transfer rates this is where to go. I don't know why I didn't buy this product before now. Most of my music producer friends have these in there studio because it Saves space on their computer and it has a high speed rated to handle the most taxing files and projects.

Great drive! Super fast transfer speeds. I love that it has a thunderbolt 2 cable built in. It's silent and rugged. The only thing I wish it has was a built in thunderbolt 3 cable too, but this it's a must have drive for photographers and videographers who transfer files between computers.

Was easy to set up and works well. I use it with a MacBook Air for photo storage.
