It's great their capacity has increased while the size decreased, making it easier to carry everywhere. LaCie HDs will be around until SSD becomes more accessible.

A Very Reliable EHD

With other EHDs, I have to wrap them in shirts or towels when I travel, but with the LaCie Rugged, I just throw it in the suitcase and I know it'll be fine. Never had a problem.

Only Hard Drives You Should Ever Use

They have never let me down. I have personally used this for my entire film production career and I would never use a different type of hard drive.

Durable and Practical

Be careful to ALWAYS unplug the cord when the drive is in your bag! I have even had a support issue and Seagate came through under their support warranty.

I'm glad that I purchased this one. It works well and is quite fast and secure
