My go-to brand for external drives

You can’t go wrong when you buy LaCie; excellent build quality and performance. And the hi-vis silicone case is not only really cool, it’s extremely rugged as well. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great Value

The only downside, in my opinion, is that the data transfer speed is a little slower than other options. I use this for file backup so it doesn't have to be super fast for what I use it for.

Durable External Hard Drive

The orange case around it seems very capable and robust. I think it will protect it from drops. You still have to be careful, because IT'S not SSD. It's conventional with head

The lastexternal hard drive I purchased accidently dropped onto a rug covered floor and I lost everything on that drive. This one us ruggedly protected.
