No more memory full for me, offloaded alllllll the stuff off my MacBook ( I am a photographer and content creator), and what a difference! I was able to update my software (don't laugh, yes, it was THAT full), but moving forward, I only plan on saving straight to my Lacie...because why not?!? P.S I love the rubber casing! I'm clumsy)

Purchased this a replacement external hard drive for back up. Previously had two WD 5TB Externals, one to hold all media (music / video, etc) instead of keeping on MacBook. Second was used strictly as a back-up (time machine). The drive being used as a back-up stopped working periodically, and I needed a replacement as soon as possible. I purchased this and from day one, this has performed effectively, quickly and due to it's minimal footprint, has been a great addition to my home office.

This is a great external hard drive. Holds a lot of memory and really fast.

This was a great purchase to acquire. It holds so much data and so easy to take with you, mobile of course. As well as, well protected with it's orange protective cover. Thank you Best Buy, as always!

Used to add storage to the PS5. Keep in mind this is more so for the PS4 games to lessen up used space on the console storage. For PS5 games, i recommend an SSD

Always dependable and strong. I've had other external hard drives that crashed but not this one. Every time I need one, I only think in this brand and this type of hard drive.

Quality as described, fast transfer speeds, HUGE storage (5T), very satisfied!

This is my third and largest drive. I have never had an issue with this brand and get full transfer speeds when backing up my MacBook Air or just transferring small and large files between computers.

They're fast, compact, rugged and affordable. I saw other dj's using this, and wondered why so many were using them. Now I know! LaCie support staff is awesome too!

Great drive. Had it for a bit now and it hasn't failed me yet. I have dozens of lacie rugged drives from my years of video and music production and I can always rely on them to fire up when I need them, no matter how old. I am a big fan of the new ones having USBc connectors to interface better with my modern mac.

It’s great. Sturdy, fast, and reliable. This is my second one. The other has been plugged in nonstop for over 5 years and still going strong.

Loved this hard drive for many years. Now with how fast and large files are today I lean to buy more SSD drives. But ive never had a Lacie fail me. Would still buy these all day

The cost of the LaCie USB-C 5TB External USB 3.1 was very a very reasonable and useful expense. I work in video, still photography, and writing constantly and this hard driver has become my necessary backup plan and front man for all the work that I produce. I trust this hard drive because is the thing purpose that carries within it orange package almost all the important work I produce in basically one place and I am very happy about that. It does not matter if I am at home or on the road. It delivers perfectly and in every place every time without a problem which is what I am in need of everyday.

This drive was easy to set up for backing up my computer using time machine. I was able to partition it to store photos separately. It is quiet and compact

For a reliable hard drive can't go wrong with Lacie! This being a 5TB drive give me plenty of space to off load files from many apps.
