The rugged build of the drive removes the need for a case and the drive easily formats for either Mac or Windows.

I read some of the reviews complaining that the SSD didn’t work. Most likely due to not formatting. An external hard drive must be formatted for use with your Mac, especially if it was previously formatted for a Windows computer, as it may not be natively compatible with macOS.

Good Hard Drive

The orange silicone is nice for keeping it protected and its not so terribly big that it's a hassle to carry around (though it is chunky). I uploaded a number of video files and RAW + JPEG files and it barely even left a dent in the storage (then again I can't really conceptualize 5TB). It comes with both a USB-C and a USB-A cord.
